Can’t say enough about these guys, truly. All the guys inside were really customer service oriented all while being amazing artists. My experience was with Eric and man he really saved a life. I had a religious tattoo that would have put me in danger if I returned to my parents country, India. I even had to miss my own brothers wedding, but not only did Eric save a guys life but he gave me the most stunning piece of artwork I have seen in a long time. He did everything to insure my safety and cleanliness before he started and made it a point to show me all the needles in the package along with going over the expiration date, which wasn’t necessary, but to me showed that they’re number one priority above their craft is customer service and selling services of the highest quality. My piece was a 4 hour project and I asked for a smoke break halfway through and he did one better and gave me one after an hour. Doesn’t sound like much, but I’m the kind of person that loves when I go to any business and ask for something and they pretty much say” nah, but I’ll do you one better”. Throughout the piece another artist would check on me periodically and my friend who was in the waiting area. He brought me a water during the tattoo as if he knew telepathically I was thirsty as hell. These guys are all super friendly and approachable. My experience speaks volumes to this shop and I now have an artist for all my future pieces which will be started as soon as this one heals. You guys would be well served choosing this shop for and art you want on your body permanently. Read Less

So, my siblings and I spontaneously decided to get our first tattoo, we were walk ins and we honestly didn't wait long at all. I'm living in Denton for school and did lots of looking for a good place to go to get tattooed and found Ink Workz and eventually picked a day to go. I didn't make an appointment or call ahead, I was just kind of hoping for the best. I was greeted by Jeff and told him what I was thinking tattoo and placement wise and he was very honest and told me his opinion and said that here, at their tattoo place, they wouldn't just take your money and give you a bad tattoo and helped me find a new placement for my tattoo and approximately how big it'd have to be. He was super patient when I had to go and change my shirt because the new placement wasn't reachable. He showed me the equipment and how it went through the autoclave to be disinfected and was very sanitary! The whole experience was probably the best I've had before. I'd definitely come back again!! My husband and I was wanting to get a tattoo for the longest!! But since we had Just move here to Texas from Chicago we didn't have no clue where to go ! And for my husband he would be adding more to himself  and for me it would be the very first time ! So of course I was very concern about a lot of things !!   First I was scared to death lol but to not make this to long this guy Jeff  was Awsome he is the best he explained everything very well was very patient with me he is also very clean which for me that was very important and as for him omg he is the most great funny and Awsome person I ever met before !!! He is truly gifted and u can see how passionate he is about his work !! If I had to change anything of my first experience I would have done this along time ago lol but of course only with Jeff !!! it was not even painful and I did my ribs tat which I have a scripture but I really think that the reason it was the most comfortable moment was because he was very patient and was so honest to me on everything plus he has a very light hand ! We came in as walk ins and the guys were more than accommodating. My boyfriend and I got our tattoos in about an hour. Ryan and Jeff were both great! This is a place totally out of my way. In a metroplex filled with shops- people may get inferior art because they don't know these guys like I do. I don't mind a bit driving 30-40 minutes just to get here. Ryan is so professional. He doesn't set an appointment he can't keep. The appointment starts on time. He is focused and very hospitable. I got my very first tattoo for my birthday and Ryan was the artist. He was really nice, great, informative, professional and of course, the tattoo came out exactly how I wanted. He definitely knows what he is doing and a few of my friends now want one for him, hell, I even want another! I was really nervous as hell but as he explained the process step by step, I calmed down. The shop had a handful of workstations and it was very clean.The chair that I laid on was comfortable, which is important especially if your tattoo will take long. I gripped that thing as if my life depended on it. HAH!I am definitely coming back here for future tattoos and recommend Ryan or LaToya, they are great! I haven't met any of the other artists but they each have a book there of their work and I went through them, they were all amazing! Read Less
