Let me start off by saying i have never experienced such unprofessional people. You are better off getting a tattoo at someone's kitchen table. A few weeks back i went in for my first tattoo it was a very simple design. The lady that did it was very rude. Did not want to take the time to hear me out on what i wanted she smelled like she had not bathed in weeks and my tattoo turned out just awful. During the tattoo my friend decied she was going to get her tounge pierced. The guy who did it came in from working on his car with grease stains all over his hands and did not even wear gloves while he pieced my friend. She called him out on it and his responses was do you want to do it yourself? "Either way you are paying me." My friend started bleeding alot At this point i felt sick to my stomach so i asked the lady to stop so i could use the restroom because i felt like i was going to vomit but she just got upset and said if i did not stop complaining she would have me leave with no refund. I was so happy to leave most disgusting establishment i have ever seen in my life. I do not even want another tattoo. Definitely my first and last considering it got very infected with yellow bumbs the leaked a yellow puss. I am going to go get checked it would not surprise me if they re used needles. My friends tounge was bleeding almost all night so she took the jewelry out and thank god she is fine. If someone is reading this i hope you don't make the same mistake i did. Read Less

Well I had to back out of a tattoo for the reasons of one a tattoo shop should be a place of business and taken seriously not a day care where the artist is more focus on the kids than the tattoo that's gonna be on your flesh for rest of your life ,I love kids but come on now ,then you got tbis one female that is more of a host or waitress of twenty guys not even getting tattoos if it's just a hang out then remove the tattoo and piercing signs I waited in a line of people that wasn't even getting ink I want ever go back for sure then for what I wanted the chick said 250 and the guy said 75 someone needs pricing skills ,lots of drama in ever conversation that was being said around the pl lace ,not recommended for anyone tighten up sacred art I see potential let's use it ,good day now. This is a great place to go to if you want piercings. Theyre super fast and friendly. As far as the tattoos go.... not so much. I've gotten 2 there and I'm not happy with either one. Both done by 2 different artists. There is a lot of drama at this shop as well Read Less

I got my Tagus done and it wasn't really painful which I like :) and I saw the guy opening new needles , new clamps , new piercing .. Which made me feel safe. But when I was laying all I saw was the need about to go to my ear ??? So I asked him "you gonna put the needle in already?" All he said was "well yea that's why you came here for right?" .... And I was just thinking doesn't the piercer person need to give them a heads up ? Or at least a warming ? And well after I got it done he didn't even clean it or anything but other then that I just hope it won't get infected and yes I am taking very good care of it Read Less

I went there to get my tongue pierced again. I had my tongue pierced when I was in college, so I knew what to expect. It is a clean environment and the guy was friendly. That is why I am giving it 3 stars. The guy who did the piercing was kinda shaky and truthfully it scared me because he didn't have a steady hand. When he was in the process of piercing of it it was slow and very painful. He also didn't put in a longer barbell. He put in a regular sized tongue ring. For anyone who doesn't know why this is a mistake. You need a longer barbell for when your tongue swells up. I ended up taking it out that very night. My tongue was in so much pain and very numb. Now, 2 days later, it is bruised on top and underneath and still hurts a little when I eat. DO NOT GO THERE FOR A TONGUE PIERCING. Read Less

I got my belly piercing. The guy was very shaky. He pierced my belly but he had made a mistake. So he pierced it a second time. He was shaking during the whole process. He was very shaking, clueless and quiet. Won't recommend going there. Read Less

I went to see Nate at Sacred Art Tattoos in Irving after I had him do several successful and artistic tattoos to have a lotus flower with vines done... I paid the full 250 dollars for the tatt and tipped him 30 bucks initially... he did the line work and said he needed to do the color another day and we scheduled an appt. I went on the scheduled day and he did part of the green vine color and said he was sick and had to stop.... we scheduled another appt and he was still sick. A week later we scheduled another appt and I was told he quit. I am stuck with a partially finished tatt that I really need to get done and the Sacred Art Tattoo studio refuses to honor the payment I made. I was told "thats between you and Nate cuz he was paid for the tatt". I told them I paid they shop not the artist, still not even a partial refund. Needless to say its been about 6 weeks and I can't get Nate to answer my texts and phone calls. Now I have to seek out another artist to finish the work that was started and pay extra for it... so disappointed. :( Read Less

First of all this place is the firat tattoo parlor opened in DFW about 40 years ago...piece of history I got to know today when getting my first tattoo...the guy who helped me (his name is ANT) was awesome..light handed guy...not hard while putting that ink on..knows what he is doing..had tv and music..so the time flew by like that..ahhaha...reasonable price..this place is hidden in middle of nowhere...don't judge a book by its cover..great place..this place is busy..people comming in and out...will post picture later...ooo one thing he guarantee his work for atleast 3 months and will do touch ups needed within that 3 months for free...atleast I was told that so.Summary: great place to check out and would have gave more stars if I had chance.. I wish I could give this place less than a 1 star because every time I try to call, I can NEVER get them to answer their phone. I mean does it make sense that I've called them 3 times a day for 3 days now? Um no. If you don't have someone who can even answer your phone, then you're already understaffed. Read Less

I've gotten 2 piercings (labret and cartilage) from Sacred Art and I enjoyed both experiences, as much as possible for a person getting new holes. The guys are nice and keep up a clean shop. I'm looking forward to getting my first tattoo here soon! Read Less
