Deso worked up an amazing piece for a 3 sister match...even though he had very little to go on...just a few text messages. The finished work by Deso and Jose turned out absolutely beautiful!! Last night I recieved my first tattoo of Metraton's Cube at the age of 27, and I gotta tell y'all I now understand why everyone says they're addicting. Best shop my fiancé and I have found in ALL OF DFW! My fiancé has had two quarter sleeves done by Jose, and I have had a coverup done by Jose. All three excellent tattoos! Also my fiancé had her nose pierced by Deso, very professional down to earth guy! I went here to get my second tattoo which is a small  silhouette of an airplane on my forearm. It took double the amount that of time it should have and was extremely overworked and in the tail, the color went outside of the lines. After I was finished they wouldn't wrap it for "sanitary reasons" and it continued to bleed down my arm quite a lot my whole drive home. While healing it became one huge scab and kept breaking open any time I moved my arm causing it to bleed and it started to look infected because it kept opening the wound. I cared for it exactly like I was told. Since it repeatedly tore the scab the ink didn't take in almost half of the whole tattoo. I hate people seeing it and what was supposed to be a meaningful tattoo became something I'm ashamed of. I will never step foot in the shop again and am having to go somewhere else to get it fixed. As a first timer, coming to VTK was the best choice I made. Everything is so clean and it looks great inside; hip hop memorabilia, awesome art work (some even for sale!), and great music. Love this place I have gotten 4 tattoo's from them so far and will not go anywhere else even if I move out of state. They are some of the nicest and most considerate int he business. Good prices, clean shop. I've walked in with what I wanted and they were able to do it; also walked in and had no idea and let them come up with something. I've been looking for a shop since moving to Texas and now I've found the place! Very cool, clean tattoo shop. Everyone is friendly; they don't have the I'm better than you attitude that I have gotten from more than one shop. They listen to what you want and work with you on achieving the best possible tat. They never turn customers away and schedule appointments within a reasonable time frame.My husband and I both just got tattoos from Scrappy. He is very light handed and did an awesome job. They are also hosting (and hope to host more) a Teen Camp to educate youth on what it means and how to become an artist. I thought this was a great idea! Read Less
