We had a horrible experience here . We made an appt. and left a deposit so the artist would draw something up and send it to us before we came in , we never received a drawing and then when we arrived for our appointment the artist that we made the appointment with never showed up. Ignore any of the bad reviews from Friday the 13th, they're all being ridiculous. I've been here with friends several times for several pieces and I love this place. Super clean and the staff rocks. My roommate and I adore Jason. He's a sweetheart and has the absolute softest touch when tattooing. I've got more tattoos planned and I intend on seeing him for them. We like watching shows on our phones while we're getting tattooed and Jason caught on by our second visit. He set up Deadpool on his monitor and let me move the wall mirror so that my friend could watch in the reflection. I mean, seriously, this place is the best ever to go for a great tattoo experience. If a negative zero was an option, I'd choose it. This place is horrible. DANNY is horrible!!!! Not only is he rude, but he is a terrible, horrible, the absolute worst tattoo (not even an artist) wish he could be an artist. He gave my daughter the WORST tattoo ever!!! Just compare the picture she took in to show  him what she wanted, to what DANNY permanently put on her body!! Horrible!!!!!!  Obviously, I was not there. If I were, this would have never happened!!! Ryan did an incredible job. He fixed what was a previous disaster and then went above and beyond that addition I wanted to complete it as a treasured addition to what represents a serious medical condition. He was so open and honest as we talked while he worked. It was like having the work done by an old friend (an old friend that strangely reminded me of time McGraw). I was extremely happy with the shop, the atmosphere and the result but I was most happy with the connection ...between myself and Ryan and the similar belief that each moment has a reason. I know that any and all work I have done in the future will be done by him and I will recommend him to anyone that asks. Ryan did a tattoo on my wrist today. He was incredibly friendly and did a sketch based on a couple of pictures I showed him and a word I gave him. It was exactly what I wanted. I got my first tattoo from Rob last night, and it was better than I could ever have imagined. It's a memorial for my dad that I've wanted for years, and he made my vision a reality. He explained he'd only been working at this shop for a few months, but he's a great asset, and I will definitely be going here as much as I can. The shop itself was so clean and organized. Two other people came along with me, and at the same time, a group of five had also walked in. Only one was getting a tattoo, but neither artist minded the moral support for the girl. I had been putting off getting my Marine Corps Memorial Tattoo for a long time. Just never felt comfortable with previous shops handling it. I came in the other day just as Ryan was setting up shop. He could have told me to come back in a couple hours. He told me give him 20 mins and it would be go. Not only did he do a damn great job, he also suggested a few things and it brought out my Tat even better. If you are Military, Police, Veteran First Responder etc. And you are wanting to get a tattoo of what you do or a memorial, definitely come to Mad Hatter's. We went as a group of 5 last night and I was impressed with how clean everything was from the moment we got there. I am in a wheelchair and they were more than happy to move a shelf so I could also get to the back to be worked on. We bought 7 tattoos, 2 touch ups and a piercing and they really worked with us to get us the best price they could. They were fun and professional at the same time. Easy to deal with even when I wanted to change the detail in my tattoo 4 times and above all the work was amazing. I have waited what seemed like forever for the correct artist to do a special tattoo for me and let me tell you that I couldn't be happier! I can't stop looking at it.
