I went a few months ago to get my seconds in my lobe and it was such a quick and easy experience. We payed at the front, waited in line for about maybe 5 minutes (at most) and then got our ears pierced in less then 10. The piercer was very informative and funny! Will be going again for my thirds. I got a navel piercing for $10, which included the jewelry. I went on a Wednesday (They have $10 special Wed. and other days would be $15). The shop is small and smelled like smoke. The wait was also VERY long as there is only one piercer, Mike. However, the process of the piercing was quick and simple. I drove very far to get a piercing here because the price is so much more affordable than other shops. Other places would charge you 50$-$70 not including the jewelry! Overall, satisfied! My piercing is healing and there hasn't been any infections. I use dial soap as recommended and also bought an additional saline spray (my choice) for my piercing. Read Less

I would give no stars. I went to this shop because of the reviews 2 weeks ago. It is now 6/23/2018 and the healing process is almost complete. I got a butterfly with my name below it. I am so upset about the end results. The next day I went to another shop, I want to find 1 artist to do a sleeve, tge 2 I got from another ahop is awesome. Anyway back to you pick it we stick it. The color on one side is red and the other pink, there's a spot that show no color at all and another spot with a black spot, you can't even tell it has a body. I was excited at the beginning but when it healed, that shows it all. I have over 18 tats so I know how to take care of a tat. Fred , I believe his name is, did a piss poor job. After charging me 120 dollars for a small butterfly and 5 letters I would have assumed it would have been a great tattoo , it turned out to be my worst, now I have to wait til it heal and go somewhere else to see if they can fix it, more money out my pocket. Posted a while back how amazing this place was but this is an update. I have changed my mind, my piercing gets infected atleast once a week. I pay more monthly in medical bills for it then I did to get pierced. I had it checked out by another piercer and The piercing is to high on my navel and won’t heal along with the excruciating pain it comes with, when it comes to piercings just save yourself an go somewhere else like I should have. Now have a nice big scar up to high on my stomach from taking it out. Will never go here for another piercings or tattoo. Read Less

I've been here before for piercings but this was the first time I've been for a tattoo & I'm glad I did! On the way there though I got a flat tire & got stranded a couple blocks down the shop so as I waited for my friend to come help me, I walked there & I proceeded to get my tattoo. I felt very welcomed when I entered & the wait wasn't long at all. Moe was the artist who helped me, he was very nice & made sure I was satisfied with the sketch. I really hate to be "that person", but this review is based solely off of professionalism. My friend and I went in at 9:30 tonight (Friday) to get ear piercings. After we paid and sat down, an hour & fifteen minutes had gone by and we started to get antsy. Finally the chick started calling names for piercings from a stack of papers, in which people who'd gotten there after us were going up to form a line toward the back room. At this point, I interfered and it just so happens the lady didn't grab the entire stack and unfortunately left the top papers behind that included our names. They insisted they'd "fix" the order of folks to push us up some, but all in all, THEY DID NOT. Thankfully the line of 7-8 individuals let us skip most of them because they absolutely knew we'd gotten there before them. After the fuss, the staff members went inside the room to change our jewelry around to finally accommodate us and the amount of time we'd already spent there. Mike made us feel comfortable once we were getting the piercings done, but trust it was not all peachy keen prior to. Anyway, shout out to Desiree (sp?) for doing such a good job at keeping us calm and making sure our needs were met. I'm sure we'll enjoy the piercings after they heal. Read Less

Went in on May 28 a Sunday and Memorial Day Special. The guy at the front was very polite. They told me it would be a 30-45 minute wait. After I finished my paperwork it was 4:52. When I finally went back to get my belly button re-pierced it was 7:27. The piercing itself was great Mike gave me all the information I needed to care for my piercing. Everyone in the waiting area was nice and all the staff as well. So it made the wait not as bad. I don't mind waiting but would prefer a more accurate wait time the next time. Read Less

Clean and well ran shop. Everything is sterile right down to the piercing jewelry. They don't BULLSHIT ya about anything so you know you are always getting an honest answer or opinion. I haven't had any tats done just bc I don't have any at all. I have had several piercings though and so have my kids. Mike is serious about his work and does it well. He is also a tattoo artist so sometimes you wait a little bit, but it is worth the wait ! I like knowing any time i go for a piercing or take my kids that the same person is doing the piercing ! Two hour wait for a piercing. Only two people in the lobby when we got there, both for piercings. During the two hour wait, many many people came in for piercings and tattoos and not one person went back. Crazy that the only piercer is also a tattoo artist so you have to wait until they are done with whatever tattoo they are doing before they can do a peircing. Told every single person who came in for a peircing that it would be 45 minutes. Now, done with the gripe. Mike did Very well at my daughters nose piercing and my daith. I'm officially a cool mom thanks to this place!  Came in on a Saturday around 3:30pm to get my tragus pierced. There was about a 40 minute wait but I kind of expected it since it was a Saturday and there was a lot of people (which was a good sign since thats means it's a popular place, right??).The guy up front had me sign some paper work and gave me the jewelry options, then I just had to wait my turn! It was seriously so quick and easy. They called my name, had me sit in a chair, and told me that there was info on piercing care on their website as he prepped the needle and stuff. When he actually pierced my ear he told me to close my eyes and to just listen to his voice, and I kid you not, thirty seconds later I was done!! On a scale or 1-10 I rate the pain a 2 maybe 3. It was cake and it was only $15???? Be still my heart. I'm so glad I found this place on yelp! My only regret is that I didnt get my rook pierced at the same time.... So I guess I'll be back! the wait time is really long about more then a hour(they only have one piercer), the shop was full both times i went and the place has a kind of weird smell . i been here twice and the piercer is really fast with the piercing.. and knows what he is doing.They only charge 15 bucks and the jewelry is free with the piercing ..which is fantastic because i don't want to pay 40-60 bucks just for a piercing ... they offer free piercings on birthdays which is good. Writing a review based on 4 piercings (2 tragus, 1 industrial, 1 septum) I got about 4 years ago on the same day. $10 for a piercing is one helluva deal! 5 stars for the piercer. He was very nice and reassuring especially since I was a total newbie when it came to piercings. My industrial started bleeding and I started to faint, he and his team took great care of me and made sure I was a-okay even though there was a line of people waiting to get pierced. Downsides: I followed all the instructions given to me with the healing. One of my tragus piercings fell out within two weeks of getting it. Turns out the ball on the end wasn't screwed on tightly. My other tragus and industrial were infected for two years straight. I was forced by my dermatologist to remove the tragus so they can do surgery to remove the infection. It was too painful to touch so I went to a friend's tattoo shop to get it removed and they said that the metal of the ring is very low quality which is why it got and stayed infected for two years. The infection from my industrial went away after 3 years but the pain is still present today. My septum did not get infected but it is noticeably crooked so I keep it tucked in the whole time. I actually wear faux-septum rings because of how crooked my real septum ring is. Keep in mind that this was 4 years ago and things could have changed. I personally would not recommend it due to my piercing being crooked, their low quality metal rings causing my infection to remain for years, and me having to spend so much money on doctors visits and surgery because I decided to be cheap with my piercings. I have been coming to You Pick it We Stick it for years. Mike has done about 7 piercings for me. Rook & Tragus on both ears, Tongue, and nipples. Some of these were free birthday piercings! and the others were only $15 each. I still have the rook and tragus ones after 8 years. Thats just how great of a job he does, Its lasting work, you dont always find that. The wait can be kind of long but when you're only paying $15, its really not bad at all. Everything is clean and sterile and he is very professional. highly recommend him for any piercing.  I cant comment on Mikes tattoos because, well, hes never done one for me. I have 6 tattoos all from You Pick it You stick it. The first 4 were done by Moe. Hes such a smart ass, its great. Its a no bull sh** "no this isn't going to hurt", he tells it like it is, and he does a good job. I came back for him to do a tattoo for me but I was told he no longer worked there.Thats when I met Tony Bolony and Im really glad I did. He is now my go to guy for all my future tattoos. He did an outstanding job on my umbrella tattoo. From the dot work to the color. It was in a weird spot on my arm too but Tony got it done and he did an amazing job. Mike is by far the best piercer in Houston. Loved his sense of humor and personality as I had to bare all for the 3 body piercings I received. Mike was my tattoo artist. He did a terrible job. He claims to have been tattooing for 20+ years but he's still terrible. All I wanted tattooed was a single word. He couldn't even get that right. His assistant wouldn't stop barging into the room to inform him how many piercing were in line after us. "6 piercing. 8 piercings, 9 piercings" Mike was obviously rushed. He started on my tattoo strong but ended very weak. It looks terrible. As soon as it heals I will go to Mainline Ink to get it fixed. I don't trust Mike.I was also over priced. $100 for a small word. I went on 9/1/2016 as a walk in with a friend and we both got small tattos. I got two and one of them was a small purple flower. My artist's name was Mike. The tattoo itself was not the problem, they outline it from the sample you give them. The issue was that two weeks after I got the tattoo it lost ALL of its purple coloring. That was odd for something that was supposed to last forever. This is where the problems began...I called and spoke with Stevo and explained what happened. He told me they could fix it but i would need an appointment. He told me all he had was 11/3, more than a month away! I told him thats unacceptable and that I will just go somewhere else.I told him I would definitley give them a bad review because this is not good service. He then agreed for me to go in so they could have a look at it the next weekend. At that point the owner was there and after giving me some excuse about my complexion being dark or whatever, said he would fix it. At that point the tatto wasnt completely healed so he asked me to go back after it healed. I have other tattos with color, including purple for over 15 years, guess my complexion was not an issue then... I must have gotten darker. I also wasnt aware that complexion makes color completely disappear from a tattoo, interesting...10/15, my third time there and my tattoo is finally healed. I go back in and speak with Stevo, who once again checks the tatto and confirms it is healed. It was Saturday and there was one other person waiting, a walk in. Stevo asked Mike if he could fix it and Mike says not today, I need an appointment. At this point my patience runs out. I tell him I have been here three times for something that should have been done correctly from the first time! No, I will not come back a forth time and if you are taking walk ins why cant he fix his mistake today? Honestly, I wish I would have gone elsewhere from the beginning. I had my ears pierced before, but I got a surgery to close each piercing because I didn't like the placement. Looking for a place that would understand that; I came across You Pick it We Stick It! When calling them to ask about the process & prices they gave me a lot of information. They had a deal where each piercing was 15$ & the 8th would be free! Drove over there & Mike took care of me. He talked to me through the whole process & he was careful with going around the scars & making the placement of the piercings! I gained a lot of courage after my birthday to get my nipples pierced. Plus it was only $10 a piercing!! YES! I was scared but I figured with smaller boobs that's not really sensitive ill be ok. I paid and pick out my jewelry. Which you can pick the bar or the circle ring. Once I went to the back, mike was like get naked! I bust out laughing, Like dude I am only taking off my shirt. After my shirt was off, and he made his marks. He told me to sit in the chair and lean my head all the back. Because some people tend to pass out.  And to tell you the truth, it really wasn't bad. You can feel a little pressure but more so like a pinch. The pain doesn't kick in til afterwards. (Throbbing) But my experience was good.
