I scheduled an appointment with Friddle (ig: friddle_ink54) on Wednesday to get my back tattoo covered up on Sunday at 8pm. I wasn't too fond of the drawings that he designed, so I told him to just do a zipper tattoo. He agreed. On Sunday, at 5:02pm, he told me that he would have to push my appointment back because his previous appointment showed up late. I said okay. I never received a phone call, or text for that matter, that night. Today, which is Tuesday, I texted him and asked if he was available and he texted, "yep, I have an appointment at 4 I can let you know when I'm wrapping up" at 3:20pm. It's almost 9pm. This guy is very unprofessional. He could've told me how long it would take, or he could've recommended me to a different artist being that he's the manager (according to ig). He was well informed that I wanted it by Friday, which gave him 8 days to figure out if he wanted to do it or not. I would've definitely put down a deposit to secure a spot if he asked, but he didn't even offer it. I would not recommend Friddle to anyone because professionalism cannot be taught to a "manager". If i could give no stars I would. I walked in and asked about a price. We agreed on a price and size for my tattoo. He told me that it would be a 40 min wait and he'd get me started. I sat down and he took a 30 min break from the guy that he was doing. He walked past me multiple times with no update. Now this was more than 40 mins later. I finally thought he'd start and he asked the guy if he was ready again. He started back on the other guy!!! I would've accepted, "It's taking a little longer, do u mind waiting?" This is THE place to go if you are traveling or just looking for some genuine people who really care about what you want. Jeremy was my artist and he was super cool, he was even working on his birthday! He went over my design of my tattoos, ( I got 2 & my girl got 1) and checked with us multiple times in order to see exactly what We wanted. The whole shop was totally cool though! Extremely kind staff, everyone is friendly. The piercing artist is exceptional as well, doesn't settle for less than perfection. I live out of town and didn’t know where to start to find a place to get a tatto, so I looked online and found this awesome place because it had the best reviews!! Let me say how sweet and professional Miami was when I spoke to him on the phone, and even waited for me. I walked in and he greeted me with a smile and explained everything to me, and even allowed me to leave go to an ATM to get cash. I was able to get in a chair as soon as I got back, and met the coolest guy by the name of Leon that would be doing my tattoos for me. He made sure I was ok with his sketches and that I got what I wanted. My tattoos look amazing and I’m so HAPPY!! I’d give this place 10 stars if I could!! I had gone to another tattoo only to be turned away until tomorrow. Called Red Ink was told to drive down the shop is open. There were a few people before me so I relaxed for a bit. I've been to 14 different tattoo shops for different reasons; to see a friend, family member, girlfriend get tatted. 2 of those times were for myself. This place is a hidden gem, I've lived in New Orleans, Dallas, now Houston, it's clean, atmosphere is easy going, good music (not to loud, not to quiet, good mix) all the artist appear to be good friends which adds to the experience. I got to see some other customers finishing with a few of their artist, ones name was Face (alot of face tattoos, good vibes, good dude), Tron (soft hands, did my brothers kick a** tattoo, and JJ (did a big chest piece on a little gay dude, tat had him looking like a beast, full color and all). My artist was a f***ING rock star, had skills, white guy with long hair, intelligent guy, good conversation and most important I got a Tattoo that stretches from my forearm to chest with alot of shading for a great price. This wasn't my first tattoo. I knew exactly what I wanted and gave the idea to the artist (wish I could remember his name) and told him he had artistic freedom. What I ended up with was amazing. The shop itself is clean, the atmosphere is completely laid back and everyone seemed to work together. place is terrible. took forever just to get a stencil ready, unorganized all together. artist didn't know what he was doing, jagged lines, terrible shading, left cuts in my skin, eventually left me with infected tattoos. the guy also got high before doing my tattoos. Read Less
