Loved the atmosphere and the guys there were more than happy to answer all of my sister and I's questions before giving us our tattoos and they did a phenomenal job. I don't think you could have a better experience anywhere else here in ETX. David was the artist that did mine and my husbands wedding anniversary tattoos and the work is SUPER clean! It looks absolutely perfect! David was also really cool and friendly. We for sure will be going back soon for more ink and have already spread the word about our amazing artist! Read Less

I love Spartan's I had art work on my leg last night and I was wanting to go back tonight. Very friendly Professional Artists with a Imagination that helps you visualize and even draws what you might be thinking. There is endless imagination to create your vision of what you want in your Art work. Myself I am working on my left leg ( closest to my heart ) a scenery of the Sea , next beach, land , mountains, ETC. then Tropical, Because I have a beautiful Red Scarlet Macaw. Then the sky , sun, Eagles flying in the sky and then looking up at heaven. This is my visual and what I would like on my left leg.. My husband and I had a quote put on our arms. This is absolutely terrible. the spacing if off. and the writing is very ugly...It looks like a 10yr old did these tattoos... I will be looking into having mine removed by laser if I can afford it...If not then I will definitely be going somewhere else to get a cover up... As soon as we came in the shop. We waited a good 10-15 minutes before we could even get helped cause they had to sit outside and smoke their cigarettes first. My grandma and I came in for last minute tattoos. My tattoo is no where near symmetrical. The lines are all off. My grandmas tattoo was bruised and inflammed for weeks! He dug so deep in her skin that there was a gash! Hers was even simple and very small! Will never come back here! I'm surprised they didn't get infected because he definetly never kept it cleaned off so he could he see the lines! Our tattoo artist wasn't named Steven for sure. Wish we would have got him since everyone has good things to say about him. You should really reevaluate your career if you're going to put things on people's body for life. They do good piercings, but the tattoos I've seen are not very good. I've seen so many people having to go get them fixed, covered up, or are still needing to be fixed. I would only recommend getting piercings from here i got my industrial done there and I love it I've had it for one year march 7. Tattoos I recommend going to Kemp or the one in Athens they are really good with tattoos. Read Less

In may 2016 I came to talk about getting my first tattoos. Spartan staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I was introduced to Adam Brooke he is awesome very down to earth. I made an appointment in June 2016. I got 3 butterfly tattoos done on my left arm. Adam he made feel very comfortable.. He is great with answering any question you have. He is very detail at his art work. He explains everything he is doing. If you have questions while he is doing the tattoos he is... very open to explain. I really appreciate how very sterile spartan is and the staff. Adam is very detail on exposing how to take care of your tattoos. To me tattoos are not just tattoos. They are art work like a painting on a canvas except on skin. Tattoo explains who you are as individual. It can have a story about your life your love ones your personality. I just got a memorial tattoo for my father done by Chris and I can't express enough how appreciative I am to him for being so eager and understanding due to the meaning of it. Ive had 4 tattoos by 4 different artists. Steven did my fourth one about a year ago. Best one I've gotten by far. He did the best job out of all of them. Color is holding up the best. Great atmosphere and clean shop. Good pricing. Can't wait to go back and get my next one. Read Less
