Had to leave a star otherwise it would be 0. Please be cautious they don't know what they are doing! I went and got a forward helix piercing, excited about the cost. Well, you get what u pay for, right? I went to get the jewelry changed from well known piercers ie Atomic & Platinum Ink and it was pierced in the wrong location & not on my cartilage and that's not the best part she used a huge bar for the jewelry, also wrong. Needless to say I had to remove it and just wasted money at this place! Called the shop back and of course the "piercer" wasn't available! Just wanted to share. Read Less

My original review was obviously taken down from June 2017. I don't know how that can happen unless it violates the YELP guidelines or rules etc. I was very curt and tactful and factually about my experience here. I have to say it was the most bizarre experience I've ever encountered anywhere and I failed to even think to read these reviews before I attempted to have a custom tattoo designed. I'm so thankful the owner was out of town and was actually offered my deposit back as the result of the debacle! Word to the wise, read reviews, period. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this place! Had daith pierced from from Travis who, when he was ready, just snapped his fingers at me and said "let's go". I told him I wanted my daith pierced and he stared at me then finally said "is that for migraines?" My instincts were shouting LEAVE but I talked myself into it being anxiety. Noticed my jewelry didn't come out of a sterile package and in middle of piercing he had to go to the back for something and kept the same gloves on. GROSS! He barely said 5 words to me. I left w/ no post care instructions and blood dripping down my ear. This place seemed filthy and I felt dirty and highly annoyed! I happened to drive by T's Blues and Tattoos who took care of my bloody painful ear and did a consult and realized the wrong ear was done. I have had all my tattoo here. I bring them my design, ask for input because tattoo art is a little different than the art I desgin on the computer. The staff is very friendly and relaxed, and I trust all the artists there. They all have a professional yet laid back vibe which is perfect. All the artists I have worked with have wanted to hear the meaning and background of my design and have worked with me to design some awesome tattoos. i went to get my nose pierced and was treated poorly as soon as i walked in. i mean, i was ignored, talked about and then was helped. not to mention, the place looks gross and not so clean. it was odd , i had to pay first before i got the piercing. after i paid i waited another 15 minutes. the piercer couldn't be in more of a rush. he was not gentle at all, my nose was being pulled all over the place. he didn't give me any warning as to when he was going to stick the needle through and afterwards gave me no instruction on how to care for it. i had to ask and when i did , all he gave me was a piece of paper and said goodbye. i don't recommend one love , go down the street to needlewerx or T's blues instead ! They don't answer the phone, don't take messages, don't call back, and can't even be bothered to open for business. I'm done with this place. I went with my sisters to get a tattoo at One Love Tattoos. One of my sisters has many tattoos and wanted a simple one done (no shading). The experience at the tattoo parlor was great and it was well priced. The next day we noticed something was wrong with my sisters tattoo, because the green in it had spread around the lines tattooed. We contacted him and he said that this was a normal part of the healing process and that it should go away in a couple weeks. Even though we have had several tattoos and never seen this before we went along with it. A couple weeks later it was completely healed and the green ink was still spread around the tattoo, after research on the internet we found out that he had blown out the ink. My sister went to approach him again with the matter in person. He said that he did nothing wrong, but the tattoo would probably look like that for a while and it would eventually go away. It is not going away. My sister realized this guy wasn't going to offer to fix it or refund her at all, but she was hoping he would at least admit that he messed up and offer an apology. He was extremely rude to her in person when she went in to talk about it. Since she is too nice of a person to leave the review this deserves I said I would. I would want to know if I were looking at trying out a tattoo parlor in Georgetown. Read Less

My first trip to One Love was for a tattoo. After shopping around and finding their Facebook page I decided Travis Crow was the artist for me. I needed delicate lines and details and he nailed it. He's so super welcoming and laid back. I feel like he really gets into his work. He makes sure everything is perfect and gets down to it. He shows a great appreciation for gratuity. I went in again for a piercing and had the same experience from him. It hardly took 10 minutes and I didn't feel a thing. He really knows what he's doing. I get lots of compliments on his work and I send them straight to him. I want this place to stick around. I messaged ahead of time and got a quick response. Then, I called to ask a question and the gentleman that answered was very polite and told me he was going to be ready for me when I got there. I went in last Saturday after I called and asked about a walk in. Travis was able to do my tattoo and had my idea already drawn up when I entered the shop. I don't know why people are saying he is rude because he was really nice to me . He was professional and his line work was amazing. I'm so impressed that I am planning on going back to get another tattoo done by him in the next week or two. The first thing I noticed is the shop is very clean and he is very articulate with his sanitation procedures. Which made me feel even more comfortable getting a tattoo done at One Love Tattoo. I am little peeved at this place. When I first went in I wanted a different person but I got a bit coerced Into choosing the manager. His artwork was great and I like my tattoo but I specifically asked for something else. Also, he didn't tell me how to take care of my tattoo or anything about it, I'm just glad I didn't get an infection because I've heard a lot of my friends being much worse off. Just got my tattoo done today with Travis. I love it! He is very laid back, friendly, professional and mercifully quick (it hurt quite a bit in parts but was well worth the result). Great experience every time for both my wife and myself. Travis is an excellent artist, to the point and honest about what he thinks and feels would be best, which is exactly what you want from a tattoo artist. I came to him with a tricky cover up that he was a bit apprehensive of doing. I brought him what I wanted, he told me he didn't think it would work, I asked him to reconsider, he did and in my opinion the final result turned out pretty awesome especially considering what I brought to him. I went in with a friend a while back to ask about a custom tattoo I want done. The guy that was there wasn't outright rude to me but as soon as I mentioned a custom tattoo he instantly gave me the cold shoulder. He didn't want to discuss it at all. He slid a portfolio to me and pretty much said I would either get one of those or nothing at all. My friend found one she liked and decided to get it and the guy just ignored me the rest of the time.What kind of artist makes you pick from a catalog of unoriginal, every-twenty-something-has-it, designs?
