Called last night to inquire about setting up an appointment and was told "depends on what the fuck you want".  Wasn't thrilled to hear that high level of great customer service, but was willing to overlook it considering some of the reviews.  Stopped in the following day to set up an appointment for both myself and my friend for NUMEROUS tattoos, only to stand there without acknowledgement for over 20 minutes.  Thanks but no thanks.  Obviously have more money than sense.  Do yourself a favor and find a place thats hungry to please you, instead of this asshole! Greg is one of the best artists in this area hands down. He's done two pieces for me. One was a large cover up/redo and he nailed it. He'll work with you on scheduling even though he stays booked up, the shop is clean, and he takes his time on all his work. Got a tattoo from Greg Votaw a few weeks ago. He is, by far, the best tattooer on the island! I send him a drawing that I had designed many years ago and he cleaned it up very nicely. The cross tattoo that I got isn't a small piece but does not take up my entire back either. I recently celebrated my 30th birthday and I wanted small tattoo to commemorate both this milestone birthday and what was the best year of my life with the birth of my daughter. After a ton of research I came across Gregs shop and knew that's who I wanted to tattoo me. He is known for the large pieces he does but not once did he make me feel like I was wasting his time with the significantly smaller design that I wanted. So I went to galveston tattoo company for greg.  He has done three other of my tattoos.  And he's always done an amazing job.  I hadn't had any work by him in a few years or since he opened the galveston shop.   I was beyond pleased with the result of this tattoo and I can't wait to add on and even get some cover up work done.  I'd recommend this shop and greg to anyone!  For a girl finding a great hairstylist nail tech and tattoo artist are a dream....so yeah I won't be getting tatted by anyone except greg from now on Read Less

Galveston tattoo corner is now Galveston Tattoo Company. Same amazing owner, just a new location and slight name change. The owner is honest and straightforward. Not to mention, he does amazing work! I have six tattoos from three different tattoo shops, but I'll never go anywhere else since I discovered this man! His shop is extremely clean which I'm sure isn't an easy task being located so close to the beach. I get compliments on my tattoos often and I recommend him every time. I actually live two hours away from Galveston but still would make the drive and pass up every other tattoo shop on the way!! Read Less
