The location has changed, it is now located on Cove View Blvd. (The west end) I took my gf and son to go get piercings with me. My son wanted his ears, my gf wanted her lip and I wanted my nose pierced. The piercer was very professional, clean experienced, informative, and best of all PATIENT. Was very descriptive on how to care for our piercings. He made sure to let my teenager know how important it was to keep his ears cleaned so they don't get infected. I really appreciated that because I'm just a mom, what do I know? My teenager would NEVER believe I was qualified to give any instructions on cleaning a new piercing.. ::eye roll:: So I really appreciate the guy helping a momma out.. The entire process took about an hour for all 3 of us, including prep time. I would rather bring my son to a professional piercer and it done the correct way than to risk him asking a friend to do it from their home. Good experience. I recommend it to anyone.Family business, been in business for a long time, family friendly. My first tattoo was done in their east end shop, 16 years ago. Now I have my first body piercing from them.

I have a lot of experience with getting cartilage piercings (6 upper helix, tragus, both daith, and a conch), but I live in Washington state and I wanted to get a few new piercings while visiting Family. Went to Body Language Tattoo. No regrets. Brenna was knowledgeable and very patient. She explained the process and was professional and curtious. The shop had a lot of captive bead and ring choices. Freaking amazing since these piercings take so long to heal. I would absolutely recommend this shop and Brenna and will stop by for a piercing or tattoo on my next trip.

I went in to get my industrial bar pierced and had Susie as my piercer. I had initially had wanted to get it done in my left ear, but she looked at my blood vessels with a light and decided that my left ear was too concentrated with blood vessels and convinced me to switch to my right ear! I'm so glad I listened to her, because I didn't bleed at all, during or even after getting it pierced! She also carefully measured my ear to decide which length bar to use and she chose a small gauge for me because I have a small ear! The piercing itself went smoothly and I felt very comfortable the entire time. She gave me very clear aftercare instructions and made sure I knew exactly how to take care of it. 2 years later, I have a beautifully and perfectly placed industrial charm, and it healed amazingly!!! I totally recommend coming here!

Tally did a wonderful job and was very understanding when I said I was nervous he started off slow and when I was okay he continued and finished pretty quickly!! Just wanted to tell everyone about my Daith piercing Brenna did this for me because of my headaches Amazing!! minutes after my piercing there was pressure in my head and then my headache disbursed over my four head I had a headache for over 3 wks. telling you this really works. My headache was gone before I left the shop. I have chronic headaches and cluster migraines Brenna was so nice professional so full of information and everything was very sanitary. I love this tattoo station and I will be back to get a tattoo. Thank you Brenna your the best!

My cousin and I spent a day in Galveston while she was visiting from Michigan and decided it was time to finally get a tat. We agreed a small wave symbolizing our love for the water/beach and the strength within that wave as well as our relationship. Taleisin was wonderful with our scared asses and was very pleasant. Now the other artist that was there is a different story. Very rude! While standing there discussing our fears of having them done he said "You know what I miss...an office!" Then went on the talk about how he can't stand hearing everyone talking about what they're getting and how it's gonna hurt. He was a complete ass hole and had I not appreciated Taleisin's smooth demeanor so much I would've walked the hell out of there. Shame on you ass hole!

Body Language, simply put, is the best DAMN tattoo shop in ALL OF TEXAS. This is no joke...Travis, one of the shop's tattoo artists, did my very first tattoo - the name of my son, Alexander. It is by far my favorite tattoo - I now have 6 of them - but still, none compare to the quality and love I have for the tattoo of my son's name. Since I live in Houston, I have somewhat been forced to trying new shops in Houston, but none compare to the quality and craftsmanship of Travis's work. Because of this, I am now EXCLUSIVELY driving to Galveston to have Travis do ALL OF MY FUTURE TATTOOS - and why, you may ask? Because I only expect the best! Keep it up Travis...don't change.

We called around to every parlor we could find on our phone and Travis was the only artist willing to wait fifteen minutes after closing time to help us. When we got there, we had a GREAT experience, our tattoos came out JUST like we wanted (if not better), and Body Language instantly became a place that we would gladly return and recommend others to. Been thinking about a tattoo for 5 years since my mom passed away suddenly. Wanted to do something to honor her. Was in Glveston this past weekend, and decided to research shops to see who was the best. BLTP did a great job; everything was really clean; staff friendly and I was able to make my appointment online! Andres was very flexible about his schedule and was very helpful with the drawing I presented him. He took my drawing and added the perfect touches to it to make it unique! He was patient, kind, compassionate and meticulous. You can tell he takes his artwork and skills very seriously. I highly recommend Andres & BLTP if you are a first-timer or a pro! My tat is a vintage bluebird in honor of my Mom and I couldn't be more pleased!

I entered Body Language and was met with the stench of cigarette smoke. My reason for visiting the shop was to have my lip ring changed to one with a smaller diameter, so I approached the piercer. She opened up a dusty glass case filled with jewelry, which she proceeded to touch with her unsterilized hands. It was definitely unsanitary. My piercing was not healed enough to have my jewelry changed, so I did not have anything done at the establishment, and I am relieved that I was not put at risk. It was very unclean and I will definitely not request their services. Ever.

On a girls weekend getaway to Surfside, me and three girlfriends drove to Galveston with the intent on some of us getting tattoos. The location was very cool- on the seawall, the staff were very friendly and professional when it came to their work, the shop was very clean, all practices were clean and safe. I have never gotten a tat and decided Travis would be the one to do it. He was very 'gentle' lol, he made me very comfortable telling me jokes and talking about common interests, and just made me feel very safe. He tattooed two of my other girlfriends that night and we were all extremely happy with the results. Not only was Travis a true artist and a professional, but he was fun, personable, and very friendly. He contributed highly to the memory making process on our trip and we will definitely go back and visit him for more work. We highly recommend not only choosing Body Language Tattoo and Piercing but go when Travis is there.... You wont regret it... and tell him ""Warren"" sent you! (his empire records girls)

The lady in the shop (I feel bad that I never caught her name) was super nice. Everything was super clean. He openned up new stuff right in front of me. If you're like me and just gonna go to whatever shop in Galveston (just cause I couldn't get to my regular shop in Houston) PICK THIS ONE. Great stuff and cool location!

She was given no written instructions on how to take care of it. Was told just to put vaseline on it. I think we all know that's just not right. I already have 4 nice tattoos and am thinking about another one soon. For sure, it won't come from this shop. Sorry guys but it's one of the worst jobs i've seen. My friend and I went down to Galveston for a weekend trip and on a whim decided to go get tattoos. It was my first tattoo and her second. They were very patient with me while trying to find exactly what I wanted (after all this is on me for life). They stayed late after hours doing our work. The hours, especially for most of us who go down there on vacation you can't beat. It was great. Chano did my tattoo and he did it perfectly! I got a flower with my kids initials in the petals of the flower. It looks beautiful, Thank you Chano!!! My friend loves her as well. Her artist did a great job on it as well. If you want to go to a very upbeat friendly and very clean place. Go here!

Came here because the five star rating - and they do not disappoint!! Brenna made us feel comfortable and talked us through each piercing before she had to leave. Susie is just as welcoming and informative. They took the time to talk to us and make the visit personal and memorable. Will not be going anywhere else for tattoos or piercings. Just wanted to tell everyone about my Daith piercing Brenna did this for me because of my headaches Amazing!! minutes after my piercing there was pressure in my head and then my headache disbursed over my four head I had a headache for over 3 wks. telling you this really works. My headache was gone before I left the shop. I have chronic headaches and cluster migraines Brenna was so nice professional so full of information and everything was very sanitary. I love this tattoo station and I will be back to get a tattoo. Thank you Brenna your the best!

My partner and I went here for our first tattoos. Cannot praise them enough. Although they were just setting up at their new location, they accepted us and made us welcome. Alex did mine and did a fantastic job. Great guy. Made the whole experience very comfortable. Tally did hers and she could not praise him enough and will be back for her next one soon! I had a LOT of trouble getting a septum clicker to unclick so I could get it out and after hours of trying I decided to get some help. They were really nice here and helped me get the pesky ring out as well as put my retainer in. I'm so so thankful! I've experienced nothing but great customer service here, so I definitely recommend them!

My cousin and I spent a day in Galveston while she was visiting from Michigan and decided it was time to finally get a tat. We agreed a small wave symbolizing our love for the water/beach and the strength within that wave as well as our relationship. Taleisin was wonderful with our scared asses and was very pleasant. Now the other artist that was there is a different story. Very rude! While standing there discussing our fears of having them done he said "You know what I miss...an office!" Then went on the talk about how he can't stand hearing everyone talking about what they're getting and how it's gonna hurt. He was a complete ass hole and had I not appreciated Taleisin's smooth demeanor so much I would've walked the hell out of there. Shame on you ass hole!

Body Language, simply put, is the best DAMN tattoo shop in ALL OF TEXAS. This is no joke...Travis, one of the shop's tattoo artists, did my very first tattoo - the name of my son, Alexander. It is by far my favorite tattoo - I now have 6 of them - but still, none compare to the quality and love I have for the tattoo of my son's name. Since I live in Houston, I have somewhat been forced to trying new shops in Houston, but none compare to the quality and craftsmanship of Travis's work. Because of this, I am now EXCLUSIVELY driving to Galveston to have Travis do ALL OF MY FUTURE TATTOOS - and why, you may ask? Because I only expect the best! Keep it up Travis...don't change.

Me and my bff were in Galveston on a whim and wanted a tattoo. We called around to every parlor we could find on our phone and Travis was the only artist willing to wait fifteen minutes after closing time to help us. When we got there, we had a GREAT experience, our tattoos came out JUST like we wanted (if not better), and Body Language instantly became a place that we would gladly return and recommend others to. Thanks, Travis!!

I just recently got my nose pierced here. It was very quick and painless. Also the lady that did it (I'm sorry, I forgot her name) was extremely friendly! And since I am a college student there was a discount! BONUS! I really liked it and I recommend it to anyone and everyone. Plus, my boyfriend and his friend were happy because the had free Playboy magazines for them to take as many as they liked. Everyone had a good time.

Been thinking about a tattoo for 5 years since my mom passed away suddenly. Wanted to do something to honor her. Was in Glveston this past weekend, and decided to research shops to see who was the best. BLTP did a great job; everything was really clean; staff friendly and I was able to make my appointment online! Andres was very flexible about his schedule and was very helpful with the drawing I presented him. He took my drawing and added the perfect touches to it to make it unique! He was patient, kind, compassionate and meticulous. You can tell he takes his artwork and skills very seriously. I highly recommend Andres & BLTP if you are a first-timer or a pro! My tat is a vintage bluebird in honor of my Mom and I couldn't be more pleased!

I entered Body Language and was met with the stench of cigarette smoke. My reason for visiting the shop was to have my lip ring changed to one with a smaller diameter, so I approached the piercer. She opened up a dusty glass case filled with jewelry, which she proceeded to touch with her unsterilized hands. It was definitely unsanitary. My piercing was not healed enough to have my jewelry changed, so I did not have anything done at the establishment, and I am relieved that I was not put at risk. It was very unclean and I will definitely not request their services. Ever.

On a girls weekend getaway to Surfside, me and three girlfriends drove to Galveston with the intent on some of us getting tattoos. The location was very cool- on the seawall, the staff were very friendly and professional when it came to their work, the shop was very clean, all practices were clean and safe. I have never gotten a tat and decided Travis would be the one to do it. He was very 'gentle' lol, he made me very comfortable telling me jokes and talking about common interests, and just made me feel very safe. He tattooed two of my other girlfriends that night and we were all extremely happy with the results. Not only was Travis a true artist and a professional, but he was fun, personable, and very friendly. He contributed highly to the memory making process on our trip and we will definitely go back and visit him for more work. We highly recommend not only choosing Body Language Tattoo and Piercing but go when Travis is there.... You wont regret it... and tell him ""Warren"" sent you! (his empire records girls)

The lady in the shop (I feel bad that I never caught her name) was super nice. Everything was super clean. He openned up new stuff right in front of me. If you're like me and just gonna go to whatever shop in Galveston (just cause I couldn't get to my regular shop in Houston) PICK THIS ONE. Great stuff and cool location!

I'm sorry but i just saw work (and small at that) done by this shop (Buck and Suzee) and it looked like a 1st grader did it. It was only a small heart but it was ragged. She was given no written instructions on how to take care of it. Was told just to put vaseline on it. I think we all know that's just not right. I already have 4 nice tattoos and am thinking about another one soon. For sure, it won't come from this shop. Sorry guys but it's one of the worst jobs i've seen. I only put 1 star because you have to put something.

My friend and I went down to Galveston for a weekend trip and on a whim decided to go get tattoos. It was my first tattoo and her second. They were very patient with me while trying to find exactly what I wanted (after all this is on me for life). They stayed late after hours doing our work. The hours, especially for most of us who go down there on vacation you can't beat. It was great. Chano did my tattoo and he did it perfectly! I got a flower with my kids initials in the petals of the flower. It looks beautiful, Thank you Chano!!! My friend loves her as well. Her artist did a great job on it as well. If you want to go to a very upbeat friendly and very clean place. Go here!
