We sat for an hour and a half and the tattoo artist, Will, absolutely refused to even take the time to address us personally or speak to us once he finished with the client he was working with. Not only that, he made us wait for 30 minutes just for a quote. He wouldn’t take 30 seconds to look up and quote the design the floor girl had cut out for us. When asked if he could do portraiture work he brushed it off and told the floor girl everybody could but clients needed to look at portfolios. How do you get a tattoo from an artist who can’t even make the time to speak to you? So disappointed in the crazy rudeness tonight. It was going to be my husband’s first tattoo. My sister and I got our noses pierced here and my friend did her conch (ear). All three were a great experience. I felt like I was in good hands and the piercers are really knowledgeable and helpful whether it's your first piercing or tenth. It was over way quicker than I expected. The shop is really clean and neat. Jewelry selection isn't crazy huge but they're willing to order for you if you come in on the weekends. I loved this place, I first came here with my friend for a consultation on her tattoo ideas and decided i wanted to get mine done here for my birthday. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, it is also very clean! I loved the atmosphere! Kasey did my tattoo and loved my minimalistic approach and offered great insight on how much shading to add. She stopped when she got some shading done all over and allowed me the chance to keep it the way it was or decide if I wanted to add more, I really appreciated her professionalism and her cooperation with my ideas. My wife and I went to Randy Adams Tattoo shop back in 1985 to have a cover up done on my wife it was time to get rid of a abusive ex's name on her arm and we were lucky enough to actually have Randy do the tattoo and 33 years later it still looks as bright and detailed as it did when she walked out the door. Randy is a excellent tattoo artist. ImI hoping he holds the artist that works in his shop to the same standards as he has. I went and got a piercing by Cody. There were two clients in front of me that had come in to get a nose ring fixed and they were not happy (with someone else's work) when they came in. Cody let me know he would help me right after them; he answered all their questions and mine very clearly and professionally. I went here due to referral of a man named Logan, as well as the fact that the reviews were very high. I’m glad I did so, as the service was phenomenal. I’ve gotten ink done at ‘House of ink’ in Venice boulevard, and this service was up there alongside it. Absolutely phenomenal work. Called to ask a few basic questions about piercing, and my call was received by Stella. She begrudgingly answered my questions about times and prices, and acted annoyed to have to even speak to me. Procedures like tattoos and piercings require a great level of trust, and respect. I won't let someone stab me with a needle that regards themselves too good to take my call. I'll be taking my business elsewhere, which is sad, because I was really looking forward to visiting this place as it has been recommended by trusted sources. I stopped by Randy Adams this past Friday to look into getting a few ear piercings.  I was greeted by Loomy and walked back to the piercing area where Cour helped me pick out exactly which jewelry I wanted while we waiting for Pixi to get set up.  I decided on a triple descending cartilage piercing but wanted to give Pixi artistic freedom on where to place them.  I swear to you- Pixi is a genius at her job!  She is so incredibly knowledgeable​, sweet, and patient.  She made 100% sure she (and I) was happy with the placement before she pierced.  Disappointment doesn't fly with her!  Even though I've been pierced in the past, Pixi made me feel so much more comfortable and at ease.  Also, she takes the time to go over aftercare​ instructions (something most places just brush off).  The time I spent with Pixi was such a joy, and I am going to be headed right back for more once these are healed!  Fantastic experience!P.S.  The piercings are GORGEOUS, and I have gotten so many compliments already!  Thank you so much, Pixi! Pixi is awesome! She pierced my rook for me and it was such an easy going, painless as possible experience. Minimal pain during the piercing and it has been two weeks now and it is healing great and I have had next to no pain during these two weeks. She is very knowledgeable and honest. I've had a few previously pierced (but not by her, unfortunately) earrings changed out by her as well and she took a lot of time making sure that I was happy with the way they looked. I went to them years ago for my first nose piercing. It was great.. No issues. So I decided to go back the second time around. My piercer was a female. She had a matter of fact attitude. Which is fine.. I've dealt with worse. After my piercing it was bleeding a bit which is not unusual. When I got in the car my nose was bleeding uncontrollable. I had to pull over and get tissue and while applying pressure the nose ring came out. So I went back and let the piercer know and she gave me a look as if she was annoyed. When I sat back in the chair she told me to lean back & didn't give any further instructions to what she was about to do. She quickly reinserted the needle without even telling me & gave a little smart remark when I got up. I'm a nurse and I dish out respect and I expect the same. This incident has really turned me off. Bad ass attentive staff. I had several tattoos that were done on a whim, late at night by a guy in a place that isn't even open anymore. Looked like a 4th grader had done the work. I had been to two other shops that told me that they could not fix what had been done and that I'd have to cover half of my back to correct it. Greeted immediately. Was consulted and given a price and time it would take....to guess what? CORRECT IT! I was told it was possible! Exstatic about the n...ews, I had the 4th grade corrected and made even BETTER than I could have imagined. My 19-year-old recently wanted to get his ears re-pierced. He had them done in Michigan and let them close up. He asked my recommendations and I chose this place, based almost solely on one of the other reviews that mentioned the certifications of the piercers here. The piercer he saw in Michigan also had those certifications, and I take that very seriously.He came in here late one night recently, expecting to have to pay full price for new piercings. Instead, the piercer was honest enough to say that his old piercings were not completely closed up. As a result, they ended up charging him much less than he budgeted. When someone can get more money out of you but is honest enough not to do so when it isn't necessary, that's a business you can trust. I wouldn't hesitate to come here or send other people here.(P.S. I hate to give this place 3 stars but I've had 2 great experiences and 2 terrible ones so... Good ones first: Smitty did a cover up on a terrible tattoo and it looks amazing! He worked after the shop was closed and is an awesome tattoo artist and person. He's really positive and a cover up master!! I also got a tattoo by Wil that is impressive, still super bright after 6ish years. (The person working the floor was really annoyed that I didn't bring a picture with me so she had to Google it which was kinda hmm)The bad: While I was getting a tattoo (by neither of the artists above) one of the guy's friends was watching wrestling and cleaning his teeth with dental floss right behind me. It was weird. The artist acted like I wasn't even there. The last tattoo I attempted to get I dropped off the picture, called back one week then two weeks later. The lady told me to come in because the drawing is ready. I get there half an hour later and she says arrogantly that the drawing isn't ready and starts to explain why like she's talking to a child. The Jist: there's some amazing artists there but the people working the floor are arrogant and rude. They treat customers like they are expendable, not valued. If you want to put up with that for a good tattoo ok. I'd rather go somewhere else. Read Less

I visited Randy Adams today for piercings along  with 4 of my coworkers. Cour Vest did all of our piercings and she was FANTASTIC! She is very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. She explained everything very well and gave us all advice on the placement of our piercings. The piercings were all pretty quick and performed as painless as possible. Well done. She also provided each of us with an aftercare pamphlet and a bottle of H2Ocean. Overall excellent experience. She was also happy to assist me with a piercing I didn't get done by her (or anyone at Randy Adams). I also liked seeing her display of certifications for Bloodborne Pathogens training and as a Business Member of the Association of Professional Piercers. I'm one of those "WANNA GET A TATTOO TONIGHT?!" people... That being said, I've got six small tattoos, all that I LOVE and all done by the professionals at Randy Adams. I actually starting going to this place back in 2001 when I got my belly button pierced (scandal!) The word was passed around the protective moms at my high school that this was the cleanest, and most well kept place...they were right! My mom took me for my 17th birthday! And now that I am an OCD mama of myself, this is where I continue to go for any piercings or tattoos. The place is casual and relaxed. Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. I am always a little intimidated by these hardcore tattoo go-ers, but as soon as I start chatting with the employees that totally goes out the window. They never make me feel lame for my small, quarter sized tattoos! Seriously, don't be shy.. they are totally welcoming. My latest tattoo, however was a bit bigger, some script on my ribcage! I am really proud of it and I LOVE it. Cour, my artist, was quiet and reserved, but really cool and made me feel comfortable. She did an absolutely amazing job... not one tiny slip-up on the dainty cursive font (which I picked in store!) I had to ask for a break during the tattooing process, and she was happy to oblige. I only paid $60 for this service, and was pleasantly surprised with the price! I pictured something much more expensive!I've also had my nose pierced twice at this parlor. This thing hurts like a bugger, but the pierces are swift and encouraging and just a few seconds later...wha-lah! You've got yourself a lovely new piece of body art. If you a nervous newbie, or an oldertimer looking for a new place, you should definitely give Randy Adams a try... Read Less
