I would NOT recommend getting a tattoo from this place. They are very unprofessional and unhygienic. Me and a friend were visiting Texas and decided to get a tattoo together to create a lasting memory since we live in separate states and don’t see each other often. When we made the appointment, we notified them that 1 of our tattoos would be water color. When we arrived, they didn’t have an artist who can do water color and I ended up picking a tattoo that I was way less excited about. Then we waited what seemed like forever because they only had 1 artist working….AND she was brand new to doing tattoos! Why was she working alone in a shop with no supervision? The shop manager doesn’t do tattoos and could only do piercings. My friend sits down to get her tattoo and the girl (ROSE) didn’t even show her the stencil before putting it on her back so all she could see in the mirror behind her was the placement. Keep in mind my friend gave her a picture of exactly what she wanted with correct spelling and dates. Tattoo is finished and the date is wrong!!! Instead of there being someone in charge to help fix it she starts to freehand numbers over the existing tattoo making it a muddles black blobby mess that she thinks putting white ink over will fix. That is not how tattoos work. Then wants to just put a solid black shape over it that doesn’t even go with the design. During this situation right before we discovered her tattoo was wrong she was eating at her station where is was about give another tattoo. During this entire time the place was over crowded and had little babies under 5 yrs old just running around with no supervision, vaping throughout the building, and eating everywhere. My friend was so heart broken that her tattoo was messed up because it represents her culture and heritage. They had already over charged her, charging her almost $200 for a $60 or $70 tattoo. She had no cash and had to pre-tip on her card taking her to a full $200. They only wanted to refund her the tip plus $40. She eventually got a few extra bucks but they kept arguing with her that it was her fault even though the artist admitted to NOT VERIFYING HER STENCIL AGAINST THE PICTURE MY FRIEND GAVE HER. PLEASE!! DO NOT I repeat! DO NOT GO HERE. If you do AVOID ROSE AT ALL COST!

My experience at Ink Pit was unfortunate and regrettable. The staff was slightly rude and condescending, and my "artist"-mike- was very unprofessional and unknowledgeable. I asked for a simple color gradient tattoo, something a beginner artist should be able to finish, yet Mike with years of experience was able to notch the tattoo, not only with the lack of shading but also by switching the color order. As an artist you should at least be able to remember ROYGBIV. They also didn't leave after care instructions, and he didn't want to finish the job towards the end. I ended up not going back for a touchup and I instead went to another studio to get the tattoo redone. It looks amazing now, but the artist who fixed my tattoo had a lot of work to fix, and was also very confused how an artist like Mike can botch such a simple tattoo. Do not go here, that's all I have to say.

Their prices are fair and they won't over charge you! 10/10 would recommend ink pit and Angie :)

The lady who peirced my nipples, Kayla, did great. She was very professional and was really laid back. She was thorough and I appreciate her taking the time to make sure everything looked good before she pierced. However, I do think, after looking at it, my right nipple was pierced slightly different from how the left looks. On the bright side, they look great regardless and I would totally go back to this place to get another piercing.

I walked in so excited to get my industrial. It was an easy process signing up and paying. I was so glad there were different choices and colors for industrial bars. The piercing itself was relatively painless and I was satisfied.
However, 3 weeks later my ear began to hurt a lot. I went in for a consultation at another piercing shop to find out there were complications. The bar was way too short to compensate for the swelling and there was no extra room on either side. So I had to get a longer bar to fit. Plus the angle wasn't sized right in order to fit my ear, so it was applying too much pressure to the holes.
It's a nice clean place and all, but maybe be a bit more willing to give aftercare advice and take more time to figuring out what earrings fit someone's ear to avoid complications. I could have spent that money somewhere else for someone to provide less painful issues to me. :(

My husband and I just had our tattoos done by Rob, it was a spur of the moment tattoo but we are so happy with our results. His attention to detail is amazing not to mention his patience as we discussed with him the ideas we had. We've gotten so many compliments in the few days we've had them, we will be getting the rest of our tattoo work done by him from now on! I also got my Industrial piercing done by Mallory and she is so sweet and professional, not to mention my piercing looks amazing! There was another woman there but I didn't happen to catch her name and she was so down to earth and sweet as can be. Highly recommend Ink Pit!

I've gotten both tattoos and my nose piercing done here, and I'll continue to go here. They charge by the size of the piece. Super laid back environment with good, helpful staff. They came up with EXACTLY what I was searching for and totally blew me away with their interpretation of one of my pieces. Fairly friendly. Informative when questioned. VERY clean. They wiped everything down, before, during, and after. Not a big wait. GREAT place to get a tattoo or piercing!

Went in to see Mike for a coverup of an old botched tattoo I got in my youth. He drew an original design based on my likes, and created an awesome piece for me! The staff is laidback and friendly like you would want in an establishment like this, and the studio is very clean. I enjoyed the experience, and I really love my new ink. I highly recommend you book an appointment with Mike. He will work hard to make you feel very comfortable, and is an incredible artist. He has a very light hand, which is important to me, as I've been deeply gouged by heavy handed artists in the past.

Whatever you do, don't go and see Mike M. He's messy, unprofessional, semi rude and gets the job -half done -and he is not precise in his delivery. Mike Mucclough ( bearded guy in his thirties - I'm guessing - along with a piercing ) kept talking to some chick the whole time he was trying to tattoo me . He showed no expression , had a flat affect and was very standoffish , not to mention, changed the tatt price after the initial quote and so overcharged me a bit . All he was to do was an easy tattoo of one color ( this quick , brief image was done incorrectly ) it's all blotched up badly ( as I noticed upon removing the wrapping to cleanse site ). He ,apparently , can't even go along with the simple tracing of the paper -to transfer an image . He then wraps up your tattoo and sends you off without any paperwork and that's illegal. Later that day as I went to wash with warm water as I knew to do , with the prior experience I had on tats , from another place, I saw that the image was not at all even and quite messy . I was flabbergasted. Called the place immediately and the girl who answered the phone said mike was too busy and couldn't have me come back to assess the tattoo. This cheap, semi dirty place won't allow me to be seen now to have my tatt looked over as it's looking awful. Even though I tipped on a $100 with a $20 , they treated me poorly , being rude ( Didn't even thank me - as I handed him the oblivious $20 bill ) . So now Thst I want the tatt corrected , he apparently can't even be bothered. I'm guessing their embarrassed and don't want to face me. Be warned!

My favorite place to get tattoos! I have been going here for a few years now and I am never disappointed in the shop. Not only is it clean, exciting and fun, all the artists are fantastic people and I enjoy talking with them. Caleb Cannon is the artist I visit and he is absolutely incredible with his eye for detail as well as his range of work. He is absolutely amazing and his portfolio reflects his personality. Additionally, the pricing is just perfect and they often have piercing specials and Friday the 13th events. Added bonus: it’s a female-friendly and vegan-friendly atmosphere with awesome music!

I got my nipples pierced here by Mallory. The customer service was amazing, she was super sweet and made me feel comfortable. I thought everything was great until about 4 months after I got them. I've realized that she pierced my right nipple incorrectly and too far down on the left side of the piercing, it is actually pierced diagonally from my nipple to the areola. I believe this is why it tends to have a bubble of oozy pus on the side it's too low in the areola. This has been there for months as gross as it sounds. I love having my breast blinded out in jewelry it makes them so much prettier and really gives me a confidence boost. But these bumps... aren't going away no matter how often I wash and do sea salt soaks they will go away and then come back. I've had them for a year now and I am very attached to them so it's really hard for me to come to the conclusion of taking them out, but they have even made intimate time not at pleasant for me or my partner due to the bumps. I am not really sure what to do, but please check and double check the placement of the marking before they pierce you if you decide to go here.

I don't even want to give this place one star. I scheduled an appointment July 9th on my birthday with Caleb and left a $40 deposit. He texted me the day of the appointment telling me he never drew the tattoo and asked to move it today. I agreed and had to move my entire day around. I texted him earlier in the day letting him know I will be late because I am moving today he said I was absolutely no problem I was his only appointment today I let him know when I was on the way to the shop like he asked me to but I never heard back from him when I got to the shop the lady told me he already left. He won't return any of my calls now. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT GIVE YOU A TATTOO.

Came here tonight for my second tattoo (a sunflower on my back). Walked in, and within a few minutes I was greeted by Caleb and we talked about what I wanted and after I filled out the paper work he made the stencil and we were ready to go. The tattoo in general hurt a little bit but that's expected, I took a few breaks and asked for some water and I never felt like I was being annoying or anything. I'm super happy with the tattoo I got!

The shop was clean and Jesse was very professional. He even fixed my friend's previous cartilage piercing that she had gotten done incorrectly from a different tattoo shop. All in all, we were very happy with the results and would definitely go back. Jesse assured us that if we had any issues to come back and he'd be sure to help us out. Great place

I just got my ears pierced by Nicole. I must say she did a very good job! She is very knowledgeable about piercing and has 7 yrs experience in piercing. I have never met anybody that helped me out so much. She helped fixed a bad piecing from a previous piercer, Crystal, who only had one year experience. She pierced my ear all crooked and shit. The back of the earring was not supposed to show but it's kind of my fault for letting her pierce my ear in the first place and for not checking my piercing clearly. I did have a picture which I showed and explained to her how I wanted it done but she still managed to fuck it up. Sooooo yeah, If anybody wants their ear or ears pierced professionally, I recommend Nicole.

I've been looking for an amazing studio to finally get all of my work completed. Over 10 yrs here in fort worth and I've been hacked on by a lot of places.
Angie did my tattoo lastnight and I have to admit the entire experience was great! Studio is very clean and organized. Everyone is super friendly and constantly on point on everything they discuss or sell you.
I was wanting my sleeve done but not 100% sold on my idea. Angie admitted it was getting late and her steam was running out so we set an appointment but she still did some work. I'll be recommending her and the whole crew to everyone.
Thank you Angie! See you next week.

He did such a great job, gave a great price, and made our time there fun- he's a humorous man...non intentional. :)Totally go see him. A few highlights:- very very clean- front desk chick wasn't social, like honestly if Victor had came 5 minutes later than he did, my mom and I were ready to biggity biggity bounce.-Victor was great! Only 3 stars because of the bad service at the front desk. Victor's art work, professionalism yet friendly, and positive energy is totally 5 star rating- 5 star and beyond!

Came in on a Tuesday for their 2 for 25$ special & am very pleased with my piercings. Very professional, came in and filled out papers & for anyone who is curious, they do require a valid ID to prove you're 18+. When I got my cartilage and my nostril pierced my piercer finished them both super quick which is really awesome because I find that counting down builds anxiety and I was already nervous enough as is. Everything was clean, I saw her open a new packet for the needle which makes me feel confident that I'm getting a safe piercing. Before she pierced me, I was marked with a little pen and was asked if I liked the placement which was another plus because I have seen other piercers who do NOT mark anything and end up with crooked piercings. The reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because they had no aftercare in stock. Which was kind of irritating because I had to drive to the nearest hottopic and purchase h2ocean..other than that this place is awesome for piercings and would definately recommend ink pit!

I got my nose pierced here almost a year ago, and it was my first and only piercing. not even my ears. the girl that did it seemed nice, but she isn't there anymore. I went in tonight to get my jewelry changed because I'm not very savvy with it myself, and Mallory helped me. long story short, my nose was totally not cooperating. I accidentally bought the wrong size and so she offered to stretch it, which I agreed to. I got such bad anxiety halfway though and asked her to stop (which she did) and put my original stud back in. she was unbelievably nice, helped me through everything, and was so understanding when I freaked out about it. I would absolutely recommend this shop to people, but ESPECIALLY Mallory for piercings.

Then when it was time for the piercing, we asked her why she could not put in a hoop, she gave no logical reason why, just said it would get infected more easily than a stud and we could go somewhere else if you didn't want to do it her way. Next time we will and you should too.

Ive gotten many tattoos from here, and a few piercings. I love the atmosphere, its very relaxed. Me and my mother got matching mother/daughter tattoos by one of the guys that worked there (no longer does) and he did a pretty poor job of them, but then Bubbles swoops in and fixes and then! Now they are beautiful as ever. And Bubbles just did another piece on me that is just awesome and I love it. The shop has came along way with different artists, but its defiantly a place to check to out, they all do badass work and great and friendly environment.

Unprofessional, immature, and uninformative. Went to get a piercing and ask for information about other services, the counter help didn't give me any professional advice and we waited on the artist to smoke a cigarette and socialize with other customers for 20 to 30 minutes. The employees didn't communicate that they had customers waiting. The artist was busy outside horse playing around with a taser gun. Aside from the horse play the piercing was professionally done, but we will not be coming back.

She had some dude (who didn't know anything about what I was looking for) "help" me and rudely told him that we could "look for ourselves" at the selection. I asked if there was anything additional in the back and her response was "No! Why?" It was at that point I left. You want a quality shop with EXCELLENT customer service? Head on down to Epic Tattoo...just a few blocks further down Beach. I went there immediately following and they GLADLY searched their inventory for the exact gauges I wanted.

I would NOT recommend getting a tattoo from this place. They are very unprofessional and unhygienic. Me and a friend were visiting Texas and decided to get a tattoo together to create a lasting memory since we live in separate states and don’t see each other often. When we made the appointment, we notified them that 1 of our tattoos would be water color. When we arrived, they didn’t have an artist who can do water color and I ended up picking a tattoo that I was way less excited about. Then we waited what seemed like forever because they only had 1 artist working….AND she was brand new to doing tattoos! Why was she working alone in a shop with no supervision? The shop manager doesn’t do tattoos and could only do piercings. My friend sits down to get her tattoo and the girl (ROSE) didn’t even show her the stencil before putting it on her back so all she could see in the mirror behind her was the placement. Keep in mind my friend gave her a picture of exactly what she wanted with correct spelling and dates. Tattoo is finished and the date is wrong!!! Instead of there being someone in charge to help fix it she starts to freehand numbers over the existing tattoo making it a muddles black blobby mess that she thinks putting white ink over will fix. That is not how tattoos work. Then wants to just put a solid black shape over it that doesn’t even go with the design. During this situation right before we discovered her tattoo was wrong she was eating at her station where is was about give another tattoo. During this entire time the place was over crowded and had little babies under 5 yrs old just running around with no supervision, vaping throughout the building, and eating everywhere. My friend was so heart broken that her tattoo was messed up because it represents her culture and heritage. They had already over charged her, charging her almost $200 for a $60 or $70 tattoo. She had no cash and had to pre-tip on her card taking her to a full $200. They only wanted to refund her the tip plus $40. She eventually got a few extra bucks but they kept arguing with her that it was her fault even though the artist admitted to NOT VERIFYING HER STENCIL AGAINST THE PICTURE MY FRIEND GAVE HER. PLEASE!! DO NOT I repeat! DO NOT GO HERE. If you do AVOID ROSE AT ALL COST!

My experience at Ink Pit was unfortunate and regrettable. The staff was slightly rude and condescending, and my "artist"-mike- was very unprofessional and unknowledgeable. I asked for a simple color gradient tattoo, something a beginner artist should be able to finish, yet Mike with years of experience was able to notch the tattoo, not only with the lack of shading but also by switching the color order. As an artist you should at least be able to remember ROYGBIV. They also didn't leave after care instructions, and he didn't want to finish the job towards the end. I ended up not going back for a touchup and I instead went to another studio to get the tattoo redone. It looks amazing now, but the artist who fixed my tattoo had a lot of work to fix, and was also very confused how an artist like Mike can botch such a simple tattoo. Do not go here, that's all I have to say.

I walked in so excited to get my industrial. It was an easy process signing up and paying. I was so glad there were different choices and colors for industrial bars. The piercing itself was relatively painless and I was satisfied.
However, 3 weeks later my ear began to hurt a lot. I went in for a consultation at another piercing shop to find out there were complications. The bar was way too short to compensate for the swelling and there was no extra room on either side. So I had to get a longer bar to fit. Plus the angle wasn't sized right in order to fit my ear, so it was applying too much pressure to the holes.
It's a nice clean place and all, but maybe be a bit more willing to give aftercare advice and take more time to figuring out what earrings fit someone's ear to avoid complications. I could have spent that money somewhere else for someone to provide less painful issues to me. :(

His attention to detail is amazing not to mention his patience as we discussed with him the ideas we had. We've gotten so many compliments in the few days we've had them, we will be getting the rest of our tattoo work done by him from now on! The staff is laidback and friendly like you would want in an establishment like this, and the studio is very clean. I enjoyed the experience, and I really love my new ink. I highly recommend you book an appointment with Mike. He will work hard to make you feel very comfortable, and is an incredible artist. He has a very light hand, which is important to me, as I've been deeply gouged by heavy handed artists in the past.

Whatever you do, don't go and see Mike M. He's messy, unprofessional, semi rude and gets the job -half done -and he is not precise in his delivery. Mike Mucclough ( bearded guy in his thirties - I'm guessing - along with a piercing ) kept talking to some chick the whole time he was trying to tattoo me . He showed no expression , had a flat affect and was very standoffish , not to mention, changed the tatt price after the initial quote and so overcharged me a bit . All he was to do was an easy tattoo of one color ( this quick , brief image was done incorrectly ) it's all blotched up badly ( as I noticed upon removing the wrapping to cleanse site ). He ,apparently , can't even go along with the simple tracing of the paper -to transfer an image . He then wraps up your tattoo and sends you off without any paperwork and that's illegal. Later that day as I went to wash with warm water as I knew to do , with the prior experience I had on tats , from another place, I saw that the image was not at all even and quite messy . I was flabbergasted. Called the place immediately and the girl who answered the phone said mike was too busy and couldn't have me come back to assess the tattoo. This cheap, semi dirty place won't allow me to be seen now to have my tatt looked over as it's looking awful. Even though I tipped on a $100 with a $20 , they treated me poorly , being rude ( Didn't even thank me - as I handed him the oblivious $20 bill ) . So now Thst I want the tatt corrected , he apparently can't even be bothered. I'm guessing their embarrassed and don't want to face me. Be warned!

My favorite place to get tattoos! I have been going here for a few years now and I am never disappointed in the shop. Not only is it clean, exciting and fun, all the artists are fantastic people and I enjoy talking with them. Caleb Cannon is the artist I visit and he is absolutely incredible with his eye for detail as well as his range of work. He is absolutely amazing and his portfolio reflects his personality. Additionally, the pricing is just perfect and they often have piercing specials and Friday the 13th events. Added bonus: it’s a female-friendly and vegan-friendly atmosphere with awesome music!

I got my nipples pierced here by Mallory. The customer service was amazing, she was super sweet and made me feel comfortable. I thought everything was great until about 4 months after I got them. I've realized that she pierced my right nipple incorrectly and too far down on the left side of the piercing, it is actually pierced diagonally from my nipple to the areola. I believe this is why it tends to have a bubble of oozy pus on the side it's too low in the areola. This has been there for months as gross as it sounds. I love having my breast blinded out in jewelry it makes them so much prettier and really gives me a confidence boost. But these bumps... aren't going away no matter how often I wash and do sea salt soaks they will go away and then come back. I've had them for a year now and I am very attached to them so it's really hard for me to come to the conclusion of taking them out, but they have even made intimate time not at pleasant for me or my partner due to the bumps. I am not really sure what to do, but please check and double check the placement of the marking before they pierce you if you decide to go here.

He texted me the day of the appointment telling me he never drew the tattoo and asked to move it today. I agreed and had to move my entire day around. I texted him earlier in the day letting him know I will be late because I am moving today he said I was absolutely no problem I was his only appointment today I let him know when I was on the way to the shop like he asked me to but I never heard back from him when I got to the shop the lady told me he already left. He won't return any of my calls now. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT GIVE YOU A TATTOO.

Came here tonight for my second tattoo (a sunflower on my back). Walked in, and within a few minutes I was greeted by Caleb and we talked about what I wanted and after I filled out the paper work he made the stencil and we were ready to go. The tattoo in general hurt a little bit but that's expected, I took a few breaks and asked for some water and I never felt like I was being annoying or anything. The shop was clean and Jesse was very professional. He even fixed my friend's previous cartilage piercing that she had gotten done incorrectly from a different tattoo shop. All in all, we were very happy with the results and would definitely go back. Jesse assured us that if we had any issues to come back and he'd be sure to help us out. Great place

I just got my ears pierced by Nicole. I must say she did a very good job! She is very knowledgeable about piercing and has 7 yrs experience in piercing. I have never met anybody that helped me out so much. She helped fixed a bad piecing from a previous piercer, Crystal, who only had one year experience. She pierced my ear all crooked and shit. The back of the earring was not supposed to show but it's kind of my fault for letting her pierce my ear in the first place and for not checking my piercing clearly. I did have a picture which I showed and explained to her how I wanted it done but she still managed to fuck it up. Sooooo yeah, If anybody wants their ear or ears pierced professionally, I recommend Nicole.

I've been looking for an amazing studio to finally get all of my work completed. Over 10 yrs here in fort worth and I've been hacked on by a lot of places.
Angie did my tattoo lastnight and I have to admit the entire experience was great! Studio is very clean and organized. Everyone is super friendly and constantly on point on everything they discuss or sell you.
I was wanting my sleeve done but not 100% sold on my idea. Angie admitted it was getting late and her steam was running out so we set an appointment but she still did some work. I'll be recommending her and the whole crew to everyone.

Came in on a Tuesday for their 2 for 25$ special & am very pleased with my piercings. Very professional, came in and filled out papers & for anyone who is curious, they do require a valid ID to prove you're 18+. When I got my cartilage and my nostril pierced my piercer finished them both super quick which is really awesome because I find that counting down builds anxiety and I was already nervous enough as is. Everything was clean, I saw her open a new packet for the needle which makes me feel confident that I'm getting a safe piercing. Before she pierced me, I was marked with a little pen and was asked if I liked the placement which was another plus because I have seen other piercers who do NOT mark anything and end up with crooked piercings. The reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because they had no aftercare in stock. Which was kind of irritating because I had to drive to the nearest hottopic and purchase h2ocean..other than that this place is awesome for piercings and would definately recommend ink pit!

I got my nose pierced here almost a year ago, and it was my first and only piercing. not even my ears. the girl that did it seemed nice, but she isn't there anymore. I went in tonight to get my jewelry changed because I'm not very savvy with it myself, and Mallory helped me. long story short, my nose was totally not cooperating. I accidentally bought the wrong size and so she offered to stretch it, which I agreed to. I got such bad anxiety halfway though and asked her to stop (which she did) and put my original stud back in. she was unbelievably nice, helped me through everything, and was so understanding when I freaked out about it. I would absolutely recommend this shop to people, but ESPECIALLY Mallory for piercings.

Went in with my daughter to get her nose pierced. Front desk lady, who also did the piercing, was unfriendly, unprofessional, burped out loud while we were filling out paper work. Then when it was time for the piercing, we asked her why she could not put in a hoop, she gave no logical reason why, just said it would get infected more easily than a stud and we could go somewhere else if you didn't want to do it her way. Next time we will and you should too.

Ive gotten many tattoos from here, and a few piercings. I love the atmosphere, its very relaxed. Me and my mother got matching mother/daughter tattoos by one of the guys that worked there (no longer does) and he did a pretty poor job of them, but then Bubbles swoops in and fixes and then! Now they are beautiful as ever. And Bubbles just did another piece on me that is just awesome and I love it. The shop has came along way with different artists, but its defiantly a place to check to out, they all do badass work and great and friendly environment.

Unprofessional, immature, and uninformative. Went to get a piercing and ask for information about other services, the counter help didn't give me any professional advice and we waited on the artist to smoke a cigarette and socialize with other customers for 20 to 30 minutes. The employees didn't communicate that they had customers waiting. The artist was busy outside horse playing around with a taser gun. Aside from the horse play the piercing was professionally done, but we will not be coming back.

She had some dude (who didn't know anything about what I was looking for) "help" me and rudely told him that we could "look for ourselves" at the selection. I asked if there was anything additional in the back and her response was "No! Why?" It was at that point I left. You want a quality shop with EXCELLENT customer service? Head on down to Epic Tattoo...just a few blocks further down Beach. I went there immediately following and they GLADLY searched their inventory for the exact gauges I wanted.

The Ink Pit is very clean, the employees there were very nice. I had my work done by Paula Diamond. I've had work done by her in the past and she never disappoints. She is a true professional and the fact that she works here lets me know that this shop is top notch.

The shop is clean, the employees are friendly and helpful and I got an awesome tattoo from Paula! I will for sure be coming back here!
