Went into the shop without appt and looked at portfolios. For the work I needed done Alex’s was the best in my choice. I’ve gotten tattoos for the last twelve years and this is some of if not the best work I’ve had done. Staff was funny and all around good people. I’ll be heading back soon for more work. Went in, and Vegas was drinking on the job before my tattoo. I thought he would be fine and I let him tattoo on me, but he ended up tattooing crooked lines and bad spacing. Did not use lubricant either. After sleeping on it to see if it looked better in the morning. I decided to go back in to touch up with a different artist because I was afraid of him messing it up further. I didn't give this review a 1 star only because the tattoo artist named Star saved my tattoo. Thank you to her, she did AWESOME. Was very professional and great. I learned a great lesson from this, which is don't give the artist the benefit of the doubt when you feel in your gut that they're not the one. I have, thus far, went in to get quite a few piercings and tattoos. I feel very comfortable in the environment, everyone is very inviting and outgoing. When you're with an artist, the fellow artist respect the client and the artist privacy while working, unless an opinion is asked of. From the artist I have talked to, they tend to be very fair, especially if you're a faithful client/customer. I could not ask for a better environment to be in, for hours, while getting a piece completed. I only wish I knew this four years ago when I arrived to El Paso! Read Less

It was wonderful amazing, clean and everyone is proper and funny. Also great with kids. I had a great man named Alex who had such a light touch I didn't even notice he was doing my tattoo. I also had a friend there as well who got one done where every place said for 800 dollars and they did t for 400 and it turned out better then any other place could of done. The skill at this shop is legendary in my eyes, I advise all to go to pumping ink I promise you, you all will not be disappointed from the experience. Called around to see who was open for a walk in. And PIT was. I was greeted by the very funny Matt. I gage my ideas of what I wanted, and came out content with what I ended up with. I did two tattoos last friday, VEGAS was my artist. He made me feel extremely comfortable. After thoses were done. I turned around and got my tongue pierced again. Well jump to yesterday my husband and I went back to get our daughter's name tattooed. VEGAS once again did amazing work. I would definitely recommend PIT to anyone looking for quality work. Both my mom and I got tattoos done by Alex. Super clean studio, awesome customer service and overall amazing atmosphere. The entire studio was talking with each other and talking to my mom and I as we were getting our tattoos done, they were super friendly and knowledgeable. After going to a bunch of tattoo places who didn't have regular earring jewelry or the right size needle to get my 2nd holes in my ears, I stumbled upon this place. Matt told me they'd have another jewelry shipment coming in soon and gave me his card. When I went in, he was great - very patient with me to get the dots right where I wanted him to pierce. He used a needle that removes a tiny part of ear lobe, and also used a thick jelly on the needle. He even told me how to breathe while he was piercing them and how the needle piercing method heals faster than using a sharp piercing earring. To top it all off, they had cute little sparkly earrings and gave me a discount : ). I got them done about 3 hours ago and have NO pain. Definitely recommend Matt for anyone's piercings! Read Less

My sister and I spontaneously decided one evening to get matching sister tattoos. It was around 10pm and the shop closest to us here on the West side was closed. I googled shops that were open and Pumping Ink came up. I read all the reviews and we decided to drop by. Upon entering the establishment you can't help but notice the cleanliness of the place. We were immediately greeted and discussed what we wanted. The decor and the music were on point. The artists were very welcoming and make you feel right at home. LilAlex did my tattoo is was amazing! Very light hand almost put me to sleep, very creative as well I let him take the reigns in what it should be since it was a cover up tattoo. Pumping Ink is the most impressive tattoo parlor I've been to in several states. Alex in particular is an extremely talented artist. He is so skilled that I am confident I can walk in, give him a very rough idea and within minutes he is able to turn my body into a work of art. Absolutely incredible, I can't recommend enough. I went in with my brother-in-law and his girlfriend (to get tats together) and we were all suprised with the treatment we were given. We were all done by the same artist (Raul) and were blown away by his work. We all had totally different tattoos in mind and Raul was able to give us ALL what we wanted.
