I wish I could give this place 5+ stars!! Super clean, everyone there is great. After like 16 hours and 3 appointments my AMAZING COVER-UP is finished. Ian was amazing and worked with me in each sitting for what my pain tolerance could take. My piece is amazing and I'm super happy. I will continue to come back to metropolis and refer them to everyone I know!!! I have eight tattoos, including the huge coverup and this is by far the best one I've ever had done!!! This place is great. All the artists that I met were chill and accommodating. My girlfriend got a super clean and beautiful forearm piece from "Easy" Ian and I got an experience of an upper arm (shoulder) piece from Brad Worrell. Ian did a wonderful job on my tattoo. I came in with a picture of an anatomical human heart I wanted on my right shoulder and he did flawless work and made me feel really comfortable throughout the entire process of getting my first ink. Absolutely hands down best tattoo experience I've ever had. I went in to get a tribute piece for my dad who passed away and I couldn't be happier with what I got (my dads guitar). Tre is an amazing artist and was such a rad guy, we cut up the whole time heh he played my sentimental music, even incorporated my dads ashes in the ink as requested. I could tell from the get go that he genuinely cared and invested his time into this, it wasn't treated as "just another job" and the atmosphere here is so welcoming and friendly. Needless to say, I have a very emotional attachment to this gorgeous piece and will be back soon for more! Wes Brown has been my artist for years and I cannot recommend him and Metropolis enough. He is a professional and a true artist. This place has everything you'd want in a tattoo shop, its conveniently located off the square, its clean, Mark up front is really nice and the art is spot on.
