Me and my sister got small matching tats behind our ears by Ox- he was super friendly and made the whole process very simple. He worked efficiently and the whole thing took less that an hour for the two tattoos. I would highly recommend this place! :)

The artist screwed my tatoo. He was rude from the start and made me feel like I was being difficult. Despite being given a sample page with tatoo shown 5x he still managed to misspell my tatoo yet n...
The artist screwed my tatoo. He was rude from the start and made me feel like I was being difficult. Despite being given a sample page with tatoo shown 5x he still managed to misspell my tatoo yet never once asked me to check the SPELLING. I was having to look in a mirror, address spacing, assess the necessary changes and detail work and try to see a faded template transfered to my skin. When he was done I looked - saw the error- and LOST it. I got up and walked out. My husband was left to pay. My tatoo was three words. He messed up one of the words yet still charged me 110 of the quoted 125!!! I had NO idea he had charged that much. I was still outside freaking out. He never even said sorry and now I am left to deal with the painful,time extensive (multiple sessions all have to be spaced 2 months apart) and expensive process (takes on average 5 sessions and they cost average of 200-300/each) of removing a word. Legally it appears as though he's liable since he was given a sample. I'm calling my legal counsel Monday.

Stormy's traditional style is authentic and original, her lines are clean, and she works fast. She also happens to be cool as shit to hang out with! I'll be getting more tattoos from Stormy.

Went in for an incredibly basic tattoo on my finger and was greeted by two less-than-eager to work employees. The snarky female worker asked "...can I help you?" My friend and I explained the tattoo we wanted to get and before letting us finish our sintince, cut us off with "have you done your research on finger tattoos? Most artist won't do them...I'm not the artist though so...maybe come back tomorrow."
I was then turned away before I could even show her an image of what we wanted (a piece that would take less than 15 minutes to complete). Rude, lazy, unprofessional staff. Don't waste your gas.

We walked in at 10:00pm and were told "hey we're closing soon" even though their hours are posted to be open to 11:00pm. The woman with many piercings then told us that she wouldn't do a finger tattoo...
We walked in at 10:00pm and were told "hey we're closing soon" even though their hours are posted to be open to 11:00pm. The woman with many piercings then told us that she wouldn't do a finger tattoo regardless of our prior research being done about the durability. She told us to come back another time. Don't expect them to want to work for you. Our tattoos would have taken a cumulative 30 minutes to do, and this employee now earned this company a bad review.

I am in love with Denton Tattoo Company!! I was so scared to try to find someone to do my art and it was my first time going in and getting it done. I was recommended by a friend to see Cody! I went in and we were signing papers getting everything done I came in with an idea and left with something even more better than what I ever thought of! I felt no pain (he is more on the light handed side) and he was talking to me as it was going on he was friendly and just outstanding! Amazing work from an amazing artist!! Nothing was awkward at all and he was always checking to see how I was doing.. so Thank you Cody so much for my first tattoo I love it beyond words could explain!! I think I found my new permanent tattoo artist!!

She's done all my work, however they have 4 artists there most all the time, each with their very own specialty which is rare and very cool. They also have a very friendly piercing girl there now. Great folks, great shop, excellent artists!!! If you haven't been to Denton Tattoo Company, you're missing out... Nuff said!

I got a cover up done here recently by Lauren. I've been to a few other shops in my life but this place was by far the most welcoming. I'm always put off by the elitist and judgmental vibe that some shops give off, but there was none of that here! Professional yet still comfortable. And I absolutely love the work Lauren did! She was super nice and an amazing artist. Got me in within a few days and even stayed later than usual to finish. Will definitely be back in the future

Awesome place and awesome people, came in on short notice and they got me in the same night even though they didn't have to. Josh took the time to draw out and edit my image to where I was happy with it, and then got right to work for over 3 hours and stayed til after close just to finish my knuckles. Everyone was awesome and friendly, I felt more at home here than I have at any of the 5 other shops i've been to. Better pricing too. This is where I will be coming from now on. Highly recommended.

I went into Denton Tattoo Company around the beginning of August to get my back started. I had met with one of the artists at the shop, Laure, a few times beforehand and she worked with my ideas and images I wanted to create my tattoo. The price was reasonable, the station was really clean and I loved the atmosphere. Would highly recommend Lauren for anyone looking to get a tattoo. She does great work and will probably be the one I go back to for the rest of my tattoos :D

Loved it. Went in Saturday with my best friend, each of us got forearms pieces. I had Cody do mine and I love it. Almost painless, and very nice guy. We waited maybe 30-45 minutes for him to get set up and got started. The bestie was WAYYYYY over charged for the one she got by someone else in the shop.. Literally double the price for maybe 15% and a ton less detail. I'll go back for sure, but will watch whom I chose to do my piece. Highly recommended either way.

The whole time, my artist was whining about this special. Not only that, but my tattoo looks AWFUL! Maybe a week after my session, i see on facebook one of their employees saying how their artists don't care about the Friday the 13th tattoos. Sorry, but how am I going to expect these artists to care about pieces I want them to do, if they don't care about pieces they chose to do? Absolutely ridiculous! I am now stuck with a tattoo that really shows how much they don't care about their own specials. Avoid this shop!!

Last July, I randomly decided I wanted my belly pierced again; you know, being the wild, reckless woman I am ;) I checked out different shops in the area but this place ended up getting my service (aka my money) simply because they were available. In other words, they were open and actually had a piercer available. I cannot believe how every single other shop had nobody available for this- clearly the tattoo/piercing thing isn't as big a thing in Denton yet because this definitely isn't an issue in Dallas. Eh. Anyway, the guy who did it was very knowledgeable, friendly, and sterile which is my utmost concern. Summary: I was impressed by this place and would recommend.

After one session I felt like I had known him forever. Very happy with his work! He will definitely make sure that you are happy with it before and after. Highly recommend!!! Outstanding artists and family friendly shop. Family owned and operated. I've been going to Lauren for 6 years now. She's done all my work, however they have 4 artists there most all the time, each with their very own specialty which is rare and very cool. They also have a very friendly piercing girl there now. Great folks, great shop, excellent artists!!! If you haven't been to Denton Tattoo Company, you're missing out... Nuff said!

I got a cover up done here recently by Lauren. I've been to a few other shops in my life but this place was by far the most welcoming. I'm always put off by the elitist and judgmental vibe that some shops give off, but there was none of that here! Professional yet still comfortable. And I absolutely love the work Lauren did! She was super nice and an amazing artist. Got me in within a few days and even stayed later than usual to finish. Will definitely be back in the future

Awesome place and awesome people, came in on short notice and they got me in the same night even though they didn't have to. Josh took the time to draw out and edit my image to where I was happy with it, and then got right to work for over 3 hours and stayed til after close just to finish my knuckles. Everyone was awesome and friendly, I felt more at home here than I have at any of the 5 other shops i've been to. Better pricing too. This is where I will be coming from now on. Highly recommended.

I went into Denton Tattoo Company around the beginning of August to get my back started. I had met with one of the artists at the shop, Laure, a few times beforehand and she worked with my ideas and images I wanted to create my tattoo. The price was reasonable, the station was really clean and I loved the atmosphere. Would highly recommend Lauren for anyone looking to get a tattoo. She does great work and will probably be the one I go back to for the rest of my tattoos :D

Loved it. Went in Saturday with my best friend, each of us got forearms pieces. I had Cody do mine and I love it. Almost painless, and very nice guy. We waited maybe 30-45 minutes for him to get set up and got started. The bestie was WAYYYYY over charged for the one she got by someone else in the shop.. Literally double the price for maybe 15% and a ton less detail. I'll go back for sure, but will watch whom I chose to do my piece. Highly recommended either way.

I came to this tattoo studio for a Friday the 13th tattoo. Big mistake. These studios CHOOSE to do these specials so I expect the same care they take on someone's full priced tattoo. The whole time, my artist was whining about this special. Not only that, but my tattoo looks AWFUL! Maybe a week after my session, i see on facebook one of their employees saying how their artists don't care about the Friday the 13th tattoos. Sorry, but how am I going to expect these artists to care about pieces I want them to do, if they don't care about pieces they chose to do? Absolutely ridiculous! I am now stuck with a tattoo that really shows how much they don't care about their own specials. Avoid this shop!!

Last July, I randomly decided I wanted my belly pierced again; you know, being the wild, reckless woman I am ;) I checked out different shops in the area but this place ended up getting my service (aka my money) simply because they were available. In other words, they were open and actually had a piercer available. I cannot believe how every single other shop had nobody available for this- clearly the tattoo/piercing thing isn't as big a thing in Denton yet because this definitely isn't an issue in Dallas. Eh. Anyway, the guy who did it was very knowledgeable, friendly, and sterile which is my utmost concern. Summary: I was impressed by this place and would recommend.
