I had a wonderful experience. I was super nervous about getting my first tattoo, plus everyone told me it would hurt because of the location  (it's on my rib cage/breast area). Bryce put my mind at ease, it was like being tattooed by an old friend. Made my appointment and a week later my boyfriend and I got tattoos. OMG! One word! Bryson Funderburg! This tattoo shop is one of the cleanest and nicest in Denton. Bryson made my friend And I feel soo welcomed. They normally work on appointments, but he squeezed us in before they closed the shop. Our tattoos look amazing! NO exaggeration. For the price? He did a phenomenal job. LOVE this place. I got my first tattoo back here way in 2009. I had been thinking about what to get for awhile and finally decided on something. Since then, I've gotten another one and I now have something to compare my experience to.He was pretty relaxed and completely welcoming in getting a tattoo. He was honest about position and size that the tattoo should be. He cares about how your tattoo will look in the future. Some people may take this the wrong way, but I'm sure everyone reading this will not want a blotchy, shitty tattoo upon getting old.He has lots of years of experience under his belt and you can tell by his work. He is often booked months in advance (I booked mine 3 months in advance). His reputation, long months of booking and still having a shop in an area where many shops don't make it, should give you all the confidence you need to get a tattoo from this guy.Pat, he's the man. I got a tattoo from Pat when he worked at the Arsenal in Bryan, TX.  He was incredibly professional and his attitude showed in the quality of the tattoo.  The tattoo consisted of over 300 circles of varying sizes and took about 3 hours to do.  It was a design that I brought it, but he loved it like it was his own.  He was also the go-to guy to fix tattoos from some of the shadier places in Bryan/College Station (basically everywhere but Arsenal and Poking You).  His pricing was also very reasonable.  He also had (and may still have) this really cool carved wooden bird thing hanging from the ceiling that was very intricate and gave me something to look at while getting the tattoo. Pat is my main tattoo guy!!  When I was trying to decide on where to go to get my first tattoo, it was really difficult because, the tattoo parlor's were trying to charge me more for having it put on my lower back.  Pat did not discriminate price with the area that I got my tattoo on.AND!! when I started to get my tattoo... it tickled so much!! I was not able to control my skin from twitching because of the tickling, but Pat cares so much about my skin and the tattoo being right and good, that he would touch my skin first then hold on to it tight so that he would still have a good surface for my tattoo.  Love it!! Pat Beck is fabulous. Unlike lots of tattoo studios that employ multiple sub-par artists, Pat works alone and does brilliant work.
