Miguel's Pet Shop was absolutely horrendous. Some of the dogs in there didn't have any food or water and the heat in the store was unbearable. One of the puppies clearly had something going on with its eyes (they look really irritated). Just thinking about going back in there gives me chills, the workers there didn't seem to care about the animals (clearly). Read Less

Exploring the Plaza Latina Bazzar is one of the best ways to experience the Hispanic culture. Markets are one of the most important parts of any city's fabric, and this one is important to Dallas. The Bazzar is a perfect place to buy a wide variety of Mexican goods like molcajetes, masa grinders, toys, piรฑatas, shirts, dresses, boots, art, and more; food associated with Mexico like dried chiles, tropical fruits, candy, and baked goods. The colorful stalls are enticing and really succeed in drawing you in. This market also has traditional Hispanic gourmet, (Not Tex-Mex) with plenty of unique things to try.I like to try one or two small dishes at each stall so I can stop and eat at more than one of them. So get out of your comfort zone and check this place out! Plan on spending a few hours at the Bazzar browsing the stalls. Read Less

Only frequents one store in the plaza, but store is well-kept, well-stocked, and homie. Seems to be run by a son and his elderly father. Very nice people.

Awesome place with so many things to look at. Their is a pet shop inside which was unexpected, but the animals are all so sweet and playful. They had Chihuahua baby puppies along with other puppies. They had a huge selection of birds. Parakeets and big parrots along with small finch and canaries. They also had baby bunnies along with older ones. I took one out to pet him and the little guy fell asleep on me. They are very well behaved and calm animals. They are selling them for affordable prices, not like other big name pet stores who are very expensive. Along with the animals they also have food supplies for the birds and cages that you can take home. The food will last up to a month depending on how much the bird eats. The cage comes with 2 containers, one for food and one for water. 2 perches and one swing for the birds. They offer 2 sizes of the cages depending on the bird selected. All in all a great place to see and buy little cute animals for your home. Read Less

It's like crossing the border. Everyone looks like they are related and they only speak Spanish. The parking lot is just as risky as well; therefore, don't lock your valuables in your car take them with you. Now, you know how the cops can't be trusted in Mexico? Well security there is just as risky so guard your life while walking in the parking lot. Look, the name should say Mexico. The shops all have at least one used item they are trying to sell. The only thing I don't see in the parking lot are the same things you don't see in Mexico ... The cats and dogs because they are in the ๐ŸŒฎ taco stands there. Read Less

Attention houstonians visiting Dallas, if you remember the International flea market on 59 and little York, it's just like that but just a tad smaller. The difference that I noticed with the vendors here are they are more friendly and inviting. ย I do not know if any of them speak English because they all seem to automatically speak Spanish with me even though I'm in Asian, I guess they can't tell.If you have never been to an indoor flea market, well it is like that you'll find many booths like photography, candies, food, lots of western boots and hats, stereo systems, telephone repair places and enough places to cut your hair so you'll never have to wait.I believe the sign on the door says they close at 8 and I think they are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 5 if I understood what the man said. This is worth a visit, bring a little money because there a lot of cheap things here and let me warn you ย could get carried away.
