What an amazing shop!! I found these guys on Instagram and noticed Kristen Danae's portfolio was extremely amazing & she had the style that I was looking for. I went up to the shop as a walk in and showed her what I was looking to get. We made an appointment and she was so patient with what I was asking for. There was a $150 deposit for the appt and the deposit went towards the final cost of the tatt. She drew up exactly what I wanted!.  am so thrilled about the work that she did for my left side of my back & arm. She's the best!!! I give her a lot of cred because the tattoo ending up taking a lot longer than we both expected. She handled it very professionally ... like a pro! Check her out. Seriously! A-team staff! I went in needing a cover up of a cover up--something no one else would touch. Adam came straight over to me and immediately assured me he could help. Great shop with talented and friendly staff. They play lots of different kinds of music and usually have a pretty chill atmosphere in general, as opposed to a lot of other shops where the atmosphere feels kind of aggressive. Went to this shop and received amazing artwork done by Terry. The establishment was insanely welcoming and insanely clean. My tattoo artist Terry made sure I thought about this from all possible angles which was great. The artist was open to new ideas as well as accepting of my own. Terry also made sure I was aware of everything we should want to keep in mind to make sure the color doesn't fade and that we both agree on a design that stays true to what I initially wanted while creating something that will last. Everyone I met was professional and the artist I worked with and continue to get work done from is a great example of why tattoos are genuine creative expressions of art. I went here today and had an amazing experience!! Tiffany did a vintage compass tattoo on my arm and she KILLED IT!! She is a mind blowing artist and is super professional. I started my forearm sleeve back in early 2014 and couldn't be more happy that I came here. My artist, Eric Cantu, is incredibly kind, humble and easy to talk to. His line work and shading is flawless. He has also done multiple pieces on my father as well as a piece on my brother that are amazing as well. Let me start with, my experience with Eric Cantu and Legacy was overwhelmingly positive and I am incredibly happy with the finished piece of art, but one factor made it miss 5 stars for me.I had been planning a cover up tattoo for quite a while, and just hadn't followed through, so upon moving to Dallas, I decided to search for an artist and get it done.  My first tattoo, a small purple flower that turned into a black blob over the last 20 years, had no meaning for me and I wanted to cover it with a mermaid...I've always wanted to be a mermaid.  My research led me to Legacy and Eric Cantu due to the raves about his use of color, and I loved that it is an all original art shop.  I scheduled a consult with Eric, where I showed him pictures of things I liked and we discussed what was possible for the cover up, location, and my keeping it covered as needed.  I was happy with this and booked the earliest appointment available, which was 2 months out, and put down $100 deposit.  I emailed him the pics we had been looking at and he said he would send me some ideas before the appointment.Cue a week before the appointment and I had not heard anything.  I emailed and called a couple times during the week, but still never heard back from Eric.  I arrived for my appointment on time and Eric came to talk to me-it was clear he had forgotten the details of what we discussed (where it was and that it was a cover up), and this is where one star is lost for me.  That said, he quickly came up with a design I loved and consulted with me on it and the colors.  His preparation was thorough, and it is clear he is conscious of keeping things clean, etc.  He worked quickly and expertly, and showed me the progress to discuss any changes or shading in color I might want.  I waited until it was fully healed to write this, and I LOVE my tattoo.  Also, you truly cannot tell it is a cover up.  I have already recommended Eric to a friend and my husband is also considering one by him.  I do wish there had been more communication leading up to the appointment, but I would not hesitate to recommend Eric and Legacy Arts to anyone.Tip: CASH ONLY, so plan accordingly to avoid fees (they do have an ATM). Outstanding! This review is long overdue. Me, my husband, my best friend and one of my close friends have all had tattoos here. The entire staff is artistically gifted, friendly, personable, and just plain talented. Most recently, my bestie and I had matching tattoos crafted by Christine! She was so friendly, kind, patient and talented. Snag her while you can - I have a feeling she'll start getting booked up pretty quickly considering her talent and friendliness. My husband goes to James Corgill and he does outstanding work. Another friend raves about Will and he has a really fun personality, too. Everyone here is pretty incredible. I haven't gotten a new tattoo in many years because of previous bad experiences and crappy artwork I've had done, but I finally decided to get something new and found Will Klein at Legacy Arts. He was very helpful and collaborative in designing exactly what I wanted, a Hot Wheelz style Lamborghini Gallardo for my car obsessed son. Will took his time and made the tattoo even better than I had envisioned. I'm getting a ton of compliments on it already and planning on doing another with Will for my other son. I came to Legacy Arts to get my first tattoo because of the good reviews I read on yelp. It was a simple design and I was very pleased by the design once it was finished. The day after, however, I notice a blue "halo" surrounding part of the tattoo. I figured it was bruising and that it would eventually go away (the area WAS pretty sore). Two months later I was still able to see it and other people would point it thinking it was a bruise. I stopped by the shop and talked to one if the guys (not my tattoo artist) and looked at it and told me it was best to talk to my tattoo artist and maybe he could do some shading, but I didn't like the idea of more "shade". I like the simplicity and clean look of the original tattoo. Once I was able to speak to my tattoo artist, he looked at my arm and said there was nothing wrong with it and dismissed my concerns. Know I know that the halo happens when needle goes in too deep and deposits the ink in the wrong place. He never explained this to me, he didn't apologize (obviously), and didn't even offer a refund. You have to keep in mind every artist in every shop is a specialist.  They will only be as good as the communication you give them.  If you are wanting a tattoo today this is the wrong place for you.  If you are looking for quality art that reflects you and what you want then make the appointment and wait for a truly  awesome art piece. After spending countless hours online looking through tattoo artists portfolies I came accross James Corgill. I loved this style and detail work that he puts into his tattoos. I took my design idea to him and he ran with it. The dude killed it!!  Corgill is a very talented artist and is very down to earth. He makes the entire process very easy and comfortable. My arm is so clean my friends thought my tattoo was fake. I waited nearly a month for my appointment because this is a custom shop, but the wait was absolutely worth it. This place is clean, quiet, and calm. No loud music or questionable people. Real artists working hard doing their thing. While getting my arm done, another artist next to Eric was painting. Such a soothing set up to be able to watch him work while getting my arm done. No bleeding, no raised lines, minimal pain, and I was in and out of the chair in less than two hours. So I came here for my first tattoo looking for an artist that can do watercolor style. I actually saw one of Richard Garcia's watercolor tattoos on google images and figured he was my man. His artwork is amazing but he didn't have an opening til Feb so he recommended Ryan Kirkland. Ryan's work is also really good so I decided to set my appointment with him, and I do not regret that decision at all! He was so awesome/nice, very good at detail, and did a fantastic job on my tattoo while caring about my well-being (especially since I was pretty nervous being my first tattoo). Ryan's work is awesome (will post pic of tat), but not only that, the entire staff there were very outgoing and fun and we had a good laugh at the same time. These artists really listen to you and even though I was so nervous they made me feel extremely comfortable and at ease. Best customer service ever. Mind you it is pricier than other parlors and requires a deposit if you set an appointment, and be ready because it's cash only. Even then it was worth every penny!! Go here! This shoppe is stellar!I have ALOT of ink and have visited shoppes in several states. There's alot of elitist, snotty, uppity, better than you types in the business. This shoppe is so ABOVE that mentality! NO gradeschool cliquish attitudes here.Top that with the fact that the owner is an award winning artist that is primo at new school, vivid colors, and portraits as well as his staff having varying fields of specialties= good shoppe with a positive vibe.The cherry on top is that the whole crew is VERY on top of cleanliness and sterility almost to the point of OCD.Pricing is quite fair and is even better if you are going to be sitting for several hours.I've been happy with all my ink from Rich- owner .The only negative of this place is that it's 5mi further than his original shoppe- Last Angels on Greenville Ave which was 1.5mi from me. :-P Read Less
