Very poor experience. I chose Rudy because his work looks excellent. Set a consultation appointment and he stood me up. Figured something got looked over and made another appointment. We met for that appointment and he was very helpful and professional. We set two sessions to do the tattoo that I wanted and I paid the deposit. Sent Rudy an email three or four days before session one, to check in, and didn't hear back. Figured he was just busy, so no big deal. Took off work early to get to our first appointment, only to find out that he was in Ft Lauderdale. I didn't receive any type of notice about an appointment change or anything. The person at his shop said he was sorry, halfheartedly, and Rudy would be in contact. He did not reach out, so I sent him an email a week after. I got no reply. I called the shop some days after that and 'Rudy had just stepped out, but we'll take your number and he will call you right back'. He did not. I called today, four days since the previous call, to just go ahead and get my deposit back. Still haven't heard any type of apology or explanation from Rudy himself. Very unprofessional. Very bad customer experience. All caused by the owner himself. I'm just hoping I can get my deposit back without any problems now.

I didn't want to believe that this business would not serve us but I had heard stories. My sister and I ventured into the establishment in hopes of getting a small tattoo on a Tuesday in May. The sign outside the door, as well as signage inside the facility, clearly indicated that walkins were welcome. We walked in and there weren't ANY customers. We took that as a sign that we would be welcomed into the building. We were greeted warmly by a gentleman in the front. Upon speaking to the tattoo artist, however, we were told that walkins are only welcome on Saturdays. The artist didn't check his calendar nor did he offer us an opportunity to make an appointment for another day. Although there weren't any customers, we were told that we couldn't be served...until Saturday. Disappointedly, we left the shop because clearly our money was not good here.

I did some research on Dallas tattoo artists because I wanted a very delicate, small, thin line tattoo of a scorpion and Daniel RL Garcia popped up a few times. I really enjoyed his art and work so I made an appointment. I walked in and the atmosphere was comfortable and the place was clean. Daniel was very friendly to my cousin and I. Now- to the tattoo. I was actually really nervous even though it's not my first tattoo because of the placement. I wanted the tat in my inner bicep. I had heard how painful it is in that area so my nerves were on edge. Daniel started and immediately I relaxed. He is a very gentle tattooer and it did not hurt even a bit!!! It felt like someone was tracing over the lines with a pen!I'm really happy with the tattoo. It's still healing, but it's so pretty and clean. Exactly what I wanted. When I show my (heavily tattooed) friends they are all impressed with the detail, size and quality. I will definitely be going back to this parlor and making an appointment with Daniel.

Ive wanted a tattoo for 2 years and finally caved in and got the one I wanted. I found this tattoo place on yelp and after looking at all the amazing reviews I decided to go in at the time they opened on Saturday and Rudy (the owner) did my tattoo. With being a walk in, I was hoping there would be an opening and surprisingly Rudy the person everyone raves about had an opening due to a canceled trip. He does amazing work and was an overall amazing experience for my first tattoo. He was extremely nice and easy to talk to. He was also VERY understanding when it came to explaining what i wanted and the changes i wanted different from his sketch. I would recommend him to anyone and WILL be returning when I decide to get my next tattoo!!

My friend and I both had simple black designs done, but he didn't make us feel like it was beneath him. Great sense of humor, amazing vibe in the shop AND kick ass Classic Rock playing. The morning after I have zero swelling, pain or even slight tenderness at the site. This guy has the touch!

First of all I absolutely love my tattoo! It was designed and tattooed by Eli.
I had it done on my side which is quite a painful spot. It was my first tattoo so I was very nervous but my tattoo artist Eli did an amazing job which made all the pain and swearing worth while! Also he gave me half of his snickers bar to make me feel better. :-) the place itself is very nicely set out and the music is good. Everything was sterile and hygienic and Eli explained all the important things about aftercare. Just make sure you listen to what they say and if you still have questions don’t hesitate to ask because you can really cock up your tat if you don’t follow the aftercare properly! All in all I would definitely recommend this tattoo parlor as I would happily go there again myself!

Cue yelp to the rescue....I had no idea where to go.I was a walk in and Eli did my consult and tattoo. And I couldn't be happier. The tattoo is healing very well, and the line work etc. it's just fantastic. His whole demeanor during the process was comforting, and if I was ever in Dallas and wanted to add more ink to my body, I'd definitely seek him out. He even checked in with me a few days after the fact to make sure I was healing well. Go check them out, you won't be disappointed.

The owner (Rudy) greeted me and was super nice about explaining the process and was very accommodating. I gave him my design and he got me on his schedule for the next day. Everything went as smoothly as I could have hoped, and the tattoo came out great. Highly recommended!

Of all the tats i have he was probably the most gentle and professional. My first was done at another shop in the dfw area and i would go back to dallas tattoo every time. This a a great studio, and Rudy was very easy to work with. I made an appointment in advance, and Rudy was very responsive via email and flexible with the date. I sent over a few examples of what I wanted, and I was happy he agreed to do the small piece. Most artists of his level (and owner) would have either not responded, or passed me on to someone else in the shop. I really enjoyed his laid back attitude, and the overall vibe of the studio. Very clean, and I was the only one getting work done. Love that it wasn't a bunch of dbags hanging around, and felt like a private studio. Rudy's skills were evident from the start, and I could feel the steady lines and attention to detail. We finished in about an hour, and it's been three days and it's healing very nicely. This is a sign he knows how to apply the right amount a pressure, and I'm in love with the rotary machine. Never again will I get ink from a coil machine. I'll definitely be back soon, and also want to get some of his paintings as well. Go see Rudy, you can't go wrong.

Upon walking into the shop I was greeted and quickly talking to Rudy (the owner) about what I wanted in my new tattoo. I loved this place! I'll be back if I ever want another. They work with you on scheduling and give you an accurate quote so you know what to expect. The place is spacious enough for you to relax during the session even if other people are there or waiting. Barnabas did mine - it was my first - and he walked me though every step, proving he knew what he was doing, and made sure it was exactly what and where I wanted. He was done quickly and the lines for the text are perfect. I appreciate their cleanliness and professionalism.

Rudy was great from the start - emailing me back quickly, fitting me in to his schedule, sketching the tattoos, to the actual inking. Incredibly happy with how both came out, he took my basic ideas and brought them to life.

I went to sneker to get my first tattoo. Not only was he hitting on me while I set up my consultation (through DM on Instagram) he continued to hut in me while I was getting tattooed (mind you my mom was sitting 4 feet away) he made me feel extremely uncomfortable. And on top of that my tattoo turned out like shit and have since had a different artist finish it. All the color peeled off or was lost due to healing (because of his poor saturation) and the elephants detail was dismal. It did not look like the painting, the positioning was awkward and made my arm look like I spilled fanta on it.

Came in and was greeted in a very welcoming manner, which is usually unheard of when entering tattoo shops. I asked about getting a sleeve started and was set up with Sneker, who not only took his time and found some amazing art but turned around and did a kick ass job in translating it onto my body. We still have a fair amount of sessions to go before the work is done, but I definitely look forward to them.

Very poor experience. I chose Rudy because his work looks excellent. Set a consultation appointment and he stood me up. Figured something got looked over and made another appointment. We met for that appointment and he was very helpful and professional. We set two sessions to do the tattoo that I wanted and I paid the deposit. Sent Rudy an email three or four days before session one, to check in, and didn't hear back. Figured he was just busy, so no big deal. Took off work early to get to our first appointment, only to find out that he was in Ft Lauderdale. I didn't receive any type of notice about an appointment change or anything. The person at his shop said he was sorry, halfheartedly, and Rudy would be in contact. He did not reach out, so I sent him an email a week after. I got no reply. I called the shop some days after that and 'Rudy had just stepped out, but we'll take your number and he will call you right back'. He did not. I called today, four days since the previous call, to just go ahead and get my deposit back. Still haven't heard any type of apology or explanation from Rudy himself. Very unprofessional. Very bad customer experience. All caused by the owner himself. I'm just hoping I can get my deposit back without any problems now.

I didn't want to believe that this business would not serve us but I had heard stories. My sister and I ventured into the establishment in hopes of getting a small tattoo on a Tuesday in May. The sign outside the door, as well as signage inside the facility, clearly indicated that walkins were welcome. We walked in and there weren't ANY customers. We took that as a sign that we would be welcomed into the building. We were greeted warmly by a gentleman in the front. Upon speaking to the tattoo artist, however, we were told that walkins are only welcome on Saturdays. The artist didn't check his calendar nor did he offer us an opportunity to make an appointment for another day. Although there weren't any customers, we were told that we couldn't be served...until Saturday. Disappointedly, we left the shop because clearly our money was not good here.

I did some research on Dallas tattoo artists because I wanted a very delicate, small, thin line tattoo of a scorpion and Daniel RL Garcia popped up a few times. I really enjoyed his art and work so I made an appointment. I walked in and the atmosphere was comfortable and the place was clean. Daniel was very friendly to my cousin and I. Now- to the tattoo. I was actually really nervous even though it's not my first tattoo because of the placement. I wanted the tat in my inner bicep. I had heard how painful it is in that area so my nerves were on edge. Daniel started and immediately I relaxed. He is a very gentle tattooer and it did not hurt even a bit!!! It felt like someone was tracing over the lines with a pen!I'm really happy with the tattoo. It's still healing, but it's so pretty and clean. Exactly what I wanted. When I show my (heavily tattooed) friends they are all impressed with the detail, size and quality. I will definitely be going back to this parlor and making an appointment with Daniel.

Ive wanted a tattoo for 2 years and finally caved in and got the one I wanted. I found this tattoo place on yelp and after looking at all the amazing reviews I decided to go in at the time they opened on Saturday and Rudy (the owner) did my tattoo. With being a walk in, I was hoping there would be an opening and surprisingly Rudy the person everyone raves about had an opening due to a canceled trip. He does amazing work and was an overall amazing experience for my first tattoo. He was extremely nice and easy to talk to. He was also VERY understanding when it came to explaining what i wanted and the changes i wanted different from his sketch. I would recommend him to anyone and WILL be returning when I decide to get my next tattoo!!

My friend and I both had simple black designs done, but he didn't make us feel like it was beneath him. Great sense of humor, amazing vibe in the shop AND kick ass Classic Rock playing. First of all I absolutely love my tattoo! It was designed and tattooed by Eli.
I had it done on my side which is quite a painful spot. It was my first tattoo so I was very nervous but my tattoo artist Eli did an amazing job which made all the pain and swearing worth while! Also he gave me half of his snickers bar to make me feel better. :-) the place itself is very nicely set out and the music is good. Everything was sterile and hygienic and Eli explained all the important things about aftercare. Just make sure you listen to what they say and if you still have questions don’t hesitate to ask because you can really cock up your tat if you don’t follow the aftercare properly! All in all I would definitely recommend this tattoo parlor as I would happily go there again myself!

Cue yelp to the rescue....I had no idea where to go.I was a walk in and Eli did my consult and tattoo. And I couldn't be happier. The tattoo is healing very well, and the line work etc. it's just fantastic. His whole demeanor during the process was comforting, and if I was ever in Dallas and wanted to add more ink to my body, I'd definitely seek him out. He even checked in with me a few days after the fact to make sure I was healing well. Go check them out, you won't be disappointed.

The shop was clean and it was great to see all of Rudy's artwork. When I see her tattoo I'm so glad that Rudy was able to give her a good experience.

This a a great studio, and Rudy was very easy to work with. I made an appointment in advance, and Rudy was very responsive via email and flexible with the date. I sent over a few examples of what I wanted, and I was happy he agreed to do the small piece. Most artists of his level (and owner) would have either not responded, or passed me on to someone else in the shop. I really enjoyed his laid back attitude, and the overall vibe of the studio. Very clean, and I was the only one getting work done. Love that it wasn't a bunch of dbags hanging around, and felt like a private studio. Rudy's skills were evident from the start, and I could feel the steady lines and attention to detail. We finished in about an hour, and it's been three days and it's healing very nicely. This is a sign he knows how to apply the right amount a pressure, and I'm in love with the rotary machine. Never again will I get ink from a coil machine. I'll definitely be back soon, and also want to get some of his paintings as well. Go see Rudy, you can't go wrong.

It's somewhere I plan on returning to. Going to get another piece by the owner Rudy, he does crazy amazing lettering. Whether you want something written super gangster or something a little softer and more feminine he's got you covered. He's also pretty fucking quick!

I came to Dallas for a quick weekend trip visiting friends, and took the opportunity to get the tattoo I've wanted for so long. I found Dallas Tattoo & Arts on Yelp, and they had great reviews. Upon walking into the shop I was greeted and quickly talking to Rudy (the owner) about what I wanted in my new tattoo. Rudy did a fantastic job, and I would recommend visiting DTA if you're looking for a tattoo while in Dallas. I will definitely come back! Thanks Rudy!!

I loved this place! I'll be back if I ever want another. They work with you on scheduling and give you an accurate quote so you know what to expect. The place is spacious enough for you to relax during the session even if other people are there or waiting. Barnabas did mine - it was my first - and he walked me though every step, proving he knew what he was doing, and made sure it was exactly what and where I wanted. He was done quickly and the lines for the text are perfect. I appreciate their cleanliness and professionalism.

Rudy was great from the start - emailing me back quickly, fitting me in to his schedule, sketching the tattoos, to the actual inking. Incredibly happy with how both came out, he took my basic ideas and brought them to life.

I went to sneker to get my first tattoo. Not only was he hitting on me while I set up my consultation (through DM on Instagram) he continued to hut in me while I was getting tattooed (mind you my mom was sitting 4 feet away) he made me feel extremely uncomfortable. And on top of that my tattoo turned out like shit and have since had a different artist finish it. All the color peeled off or was lost due to healing (because of his poor saturation) and the elephants detail was dismal. It did not look like the painting, the positioning was awkward and made my arm look like I spilled fanta on it.

Today was my first time at the shop and my artist was Sneker. He was absolutely amazing. He made me feel completely comfortable and did a awesome custom piece. I have plenty of tattoos but this was my best shop experience. The shop is beautiful and clean and easy to find. Every artist there made sure to strike a conversation and were very hospitable. I will definitely be back!

Came in and was greeted in a very welcoming manner, which is usually unheard of when entering tattoo shops. I asked about getting a sleeve started and was set up with Sneker, who not only took his time and found some amazing art but turned around and did a kick ass job in translating it onto my body. We still have a fair amount of sessions to go before the work is done, but I definitely look forward to them.
