Received a lash lift with tint & and eyebrow tint. Entire service took over an hour or so. Esthetician was always checking on me to  make sure, I was doing okay. I hesitated writing this review because everyone here was so very nice. That being said, I would have appreciated reading an honest review prior to coming and spending over $100 on my lashes. I have gotten my lashes done for several years, mostly by the same person. My lady happen to be out of town so I decided to come here based on reviews. I went in asking for volume lashes... what I got was a bunch of clusters (which she said were "hand made clusters), and WAY too much glue. I got them done less than a week ago, and more than 50% have fallen off. The ones that remain really hurt because of the amount of glue. I will be going to get them professionally removed tomorrow. I'm sure this might be an isolated incident, but it's fair to let the yelp community know about my particular experience. They should also think about separating lash rooms instead of having multiple in one room. The lady next to us talked the ENTIRE hour long appt! I have been looking to get my eyebrows microbladed for some time now. My eyebrows were very thin and I was tired of drawing them on. After researching many places I found Tina's permanent makeup. I had a great experience! I showed Tina a picture of my eyebrows from my wedding day, she then drew them on and made sure that I liked the shape and thickness. Once she drew them on she put numbing gel on them and waited about 30 minutes for it to set in. The Microblading process itself took about 30-45 minutes and was painless. I was tired of all the researching and decided that Tina's would be the place. Boy, am I happy I did. Ofcourse her services are not cheap, but rightfully so as she (Tina) did my eyebrows with quality. I have oily skin, so she recommended the combination brow (microblading/shading).  This was a great idea because over the 6 weeks of healing my pigment stayed and didn't fade too much, outside of the strokes. I just finished a touchup today and I just love my brows. I loved them during the healing process too (which is bad for everyone) so that should mean something. My friend referred me to this place. Tina has a great eye for shaping brows. I came in for microblading for my eyebrows. She asked me several questions about what I was looking for and then she suggested microblending eyebrow technique which she had on her own eyes. I don't have much hair on my eyebrows. BEST OF THE BEST!!!!I've been going to Tina and Amy for years since they were at the old location, and following them to the new location. The receptionist was very nice and professional. They reminded me about the appointment a lot of times, which I love it cuz I always forgot. I just got my eyebrows done by Amy. She is so amazing. My appointment at 3 pm, it's late for a Saturday afternoon, but they still fine with it.. I thought I was picky about my eyebrows, but Amy was pickier. She took like an hour and a half just to draw my eyebrows to make sure I was happy with the shape of my eyebrows before the procedure. As talking to her, she told me she is a Phibrows artist. I got amazed by her skills. Normally, she used double the amount of numbing gel on the patient, but for me, she only used half amount of the numbing gel, which I did feel a little bit. However, I do not complain, because I can handle it. The tip Amy shared with me was the less numbing gel, the more color stays and the color turned out will match with the color that I wanted. So I chose less numbing gel, it's nothing compare to tattoo lol. Amy was so sweet, she made sure I was fine and happy with the result before I left. They closed at 6pm on Saturday but I did not get out till 6:30 pm. I went to eat right after the appointment and my friends kept looking at my eyebrows and gave me so many compliments. Some of my friends wanted to get their eyebrows done too after they saw my eyebrows.I'm telling you, it's so worth it!!! Today’s experience I got my eye lashes refill on 4/14. Many of my eye lashes extensions came out within a week. I called to come in Saturday 4-21 with no appointment available. I called again got a appointment available for today 4/24. I told the receptionist that my lashes had fell off. She looked up when my last appointment was she said it’s only been a week and a day there will be no charge we will fix them for free. I went today showing her they fell out. She said don’t worry I will fix. I told her I wanted them the same short and full. When I got up they are not full she used different lash extensions she claimed my lashes were weak from getting extensions. Then I told her this is my second time getting them done. Then there was three lady’s in front of me saying I must have gotten them wet. I said no I wore goggles when I showered and washed my face. They all tryed to blame my eye lashes falling out on me. Then another worker asked the one who did my lashes did she use a stronger glue she said yes and proceed to charge me 35 dollars. I said the receptionist said you would fix for free. She said no we don’t do that I complained then she ok 20 dollars. Then another lady came in and told me 35 again. Just crazy I paid 70 for 1 week and 2 days lash falling within a couple of days, a hour drive there and she didn’t do like I asked and my lashes are still not full. They try to play me about fixing my lashes and the ones I got today she actually attached some of the extensions to my lid and still missed most of the refill in the crease of my eye. I just had my first session of microblading done by Tina today. And I'd like to help others who are in the decision making process on choosing the correct artist to permanently tattoo your face.Ok, here's my entire experience:I first scheduled my appointment by walking into Tina's shop. She was still located at the Jones Rd location then. At that time, the receptionist informed me that there was a $50 charge for scheduling an appointment. She originally told me there were none available until early June. Tina heard us talking and came out from the room and helped the girl to schedule something sooner. Tina also looked at my face briefly and thought I'd be a good candidate for microblading. I paid, she booked it and told me they would be at a new location for my appointment and I left. Day of my appointment I got 2 or 3 reminder texts letting me know where my appointment was located and when (one text was because the appointment time had changed by 10minutes). This is nice for if you forgot to put a reminder in your phone. I arrived foe me 1230 appt around 1210. I was greeted by the girl at the front desk who handed me a form to complete. I completed the form and gave it back to her. I waited less than 5 minutes and she took me to a back room. Tina came in a couple minutes later, asked me of I had any pics to show her what I wanted (I wore no makeup on purpose and also hadn't waxed my browser in awhile). I showed her a pic and she began outlining brows on. She checked and rechecked, asked what thought (I was seated in front of a huge mirror), changed a little here, a little there until we were both satisfied. She also shaves your natural brows that are outside of her drawing during this process. I say both bc she was seeing something slightly off that I wasn't seeing. I was then moved into another room where the procedure was to happen. all i had to do was lay down and relax. She checked my brows again and then put some numbing cream on them and waited 10 min before starting. I've never had a tattoo before so I didn't know what to expect. The sounds is like a man cutting his beard stubble with a razor. That scratchy sound. The numbing cream hadn't numbed much yet, and it felt kind of like...the edge of the wax strip when you get your brows waxed. Not exactly painful, but definitely uncomfortable. She started with my left brow then did my right. When she went back to my left, I think she had put more cream on it bc i truly couldn't feel anything anymore. She finished up on my right side, again, couldn't feel anything. She put some stuff on and we waited a few minutes. When she took it off she said she needed to do more on my right brow, so she did it real quick and put more stain on. After I got off the table, the girl at the front desk showed me some pics of how it would heal and gave me verbal care instructions and a little baggie with instructions and some of the healing cream you're supposed to use and some qtips.I know this was long, but I depend heavily on these reviews, so I hope it helps someone. Please see my attached pics. If you're trying to decide whether to get this done, I recommend it and I recommend Tina. She was nice, her shop was clean and I live my new eyebrows!To note: I was offered $20 off if I used cash. Debit doesn't count though. Trust. Trust in Tina. I've read through quite a few of the comments and here's my take and tips...1. Confirm your appointment. Tina is booked through the wazoo, if you miss or have to reschedule, you'll probably have to wait another month to get in.2. Since she runs such a tight schedule... once you come in her assistant will clear off your make up and start prepping you with numbing cream. If you're particular about whatever shape you normally do your make up take GOOD DETAILED appropriately angled pictures ahead of time. I mean it. 3. Tina will then sit you in front of a mirror and draw your eyebrows. If you took pictures like I told you to, bring them out now. We all have our own idea of what ideal brows should look like. Tina's goal is to give you natural looking brows. Not brows on fleek or whatever. That's where I think some of the push back is coming from. 4. She's not going to want to make these dramatic ass brows. So just TRUST her professional input and hopefully you guys get to a good agreement of the shape. 5. You'll lay down and she will do her thing. It hurts, but you won't die. 6. You WILL need 2 sessions. After the first sesh, you may or may not be too crazy about your brows. Stay positive, think of this as the foundation of your masterpiece. I went home after my first session kinda sorta not really liking my brows. But hey some brows are better than no brows. Less work in the morning then drawing and erasing over and over again. (I seriously have no eyebrows!) 7. Your new brows are going to look unnaturally dark. Don't freak, it'll fade when it heals.8. After a couple of months I finally got around to my second sesh. I was hopeful. After all, I love all the photos she posts. My brows were patchy and not the shape I wanted. I love, love, love Tina. My eyebrows are truly life changing I feel confident for the first time in a very long time. Honestly haven't even been wearing much if any makeup since I can now say "I woke up like this" lol I highly recommend her. I decided to get microblading here because of her positive reviews on Yelp. I basically risked it all and let her work her magic. I didn't have any pictures to show her or was very vocal with an eyebrow shape. I allowed to freehand and create a shape based on my natural brows. Even though I over plucked my eyebrow, Tina was able to freehand a shape that was suitable for my face. This takes a lot of skills because my eyebrows are close to nonexistence! I definitely recommend going to Tina to get your eyebrows done!There wasn't a lot of pain during the process. But it did sting/burn on certain parts of your brow. It's nothing unbearable and there's no pain during the healing process, either. It's been 3 days since I've gotten them done, so I'm no where close to the finished product. Seriously the best decision I made. I got my brows done May 2016, so about 9 months ago. My face looks so much prettier and complete. I can go without makeup and know my brows look great (which is all that really matters lol). The pain for me was honestly horrible. A lot of the reviews say it didn't hurt but I don't know if the numbing medicine didn't work for me or what but for a girl with several tattoos, the pain was intense for me. I was sweating and wanting her to stop lol. Overall it was worth it. She took her time to draw them the way I wanted in the beginning and they still look good today. Tina saved my brows. I went from having to fill them in everyday to just waking up and going. She is very nice and takes her time figuring out a natural looking brow shape that best fits your face. She is very good at picking a pigment color that matches your hair color, you can't even tell what's real hair and what she's created! I took a while to think before I wrote this review because I wanted it to be fair.  Overall, I think Tina is talented.  I chose Tina because of all the amazing photos on yelp and her website, but I did not have a great experience.  Here are some things to keep in mind:1.  Confirm your appointment.  I was sent two reminder texts for my initial appointment.  I responded to one confirming that I would be there, but the other went to an unknown senders folder on my phone that I didn't realize existed.  Apparently that was the text I was supposed to respond to, but I didn't see it.  By the time I got a hold of Tina, she had given my appointment away, which was really upsetting because I had already put in a day off for work.  She did offer me another appointment quickly when someone else canceled later in the same week.2.  The receptionist will take off your makeup when you get there.  Like Zoey H. from Austin*, I was hoping Tina would take a look at how I usually do my makeup, so she could have a sense of what I was looking for.  Describing what you want is not as easy as showing it, and the shape she initially drew on wasn't what I was looking for.  I felt rushed.  Tina seems sweet overall, but I felt softly coerced into getting started before I was 100% ready.3.  She will put away all of her equipment before handing you a mirror, effectively minimizing how much you can affect on the finished product.  Because you know she has already cleaned up, you get the sense that touch ups aren't really an option.  I felt pretty unsatisfied on the first day, but I thought I would let it heal up and try again with a touch-up appointment.4.  You will probably require a touch up.  I've had two permanent makeup procedures at this point (only one by Tina), and I think touch-ups are basically mandatory for most people.  It's hard for the technician to continue working after your face swells a lot, so you have to come back to refine it.  When I went back, Tina asked me what I felt needed to be fixed up, and I pointed out a few things.  When I got the mirror at the end of the touch-up session, I still wasn't happy and pointed out some things that I thought needed more work, and she disagreed and that was the end of it.  I think my final result is an improvement, but I notice slight differences in thickness, different shapes in the center, and slightly different placement of the arches.  I can fix this with makeup everyday, but the overall experience didn't meet my expectations.Ways the final result is positive: - I feel like my eyebrows look relatively normal without makeup now. - Filling my eyebrows is easier because I have a "rough draft" tattooed on- When I go to the gym, I don't have half an eyebrow sweating off Ways the final result is negative:- I'm still buying expensive brow makeup and taking time to fill them in every dayTina is good, and I was debating between a 3 and a 4 for this review, but between her overall approach and my somewhat disappointing results, I felt I needed to give a 3.  I may bump it up to a 4 if I get better result with another touch up in the future.If you don't really know how to shape your eyebrows and want someone to figure it out for you, I think Tina is a perfect choice.  If you have strong opinions about how you want them to look in the end, you will either need to be very assertive or find another practitioner.* I think if you want a worst possible scenario, Zoey H. from Austin is probably it. Seriously, if you're going to get your eyebrows microbladed-- go to Tina. It's going to be on your face forever, girl. After months of researching places in Houston to do this procedure, I finally made my appointment. Keep in mind that she's a busy woman so definitely make an appointment maybe 2+ weeks ahead of time. When you come in, the receptionist will first apply numbing cream to your brows and allow for it to set in. Once it does, Tina brings you back to the room and gets to work on drawing what shape she'll be microblading. Don't be afraid to ask her to redraw the shape-- it IS a tattoo on your face, after all! The actual procedure is quick- you'll be in and out within an hour. I wouldn't say that it hurts but if I could compare it to anything- it feels like when you cut your finger nails and run the nail fragment over your skin several times with added pressure. So a liiiitttle uncomfortable but not so that you're going to be crying. If it hurts, just ask for more numbing cream. Post-Tattoo Thoughts: Holy crap, it's so dark. But it's beautiful. Each stroke was drawn meticulously and placed so that it looked as natural as possible. I was in love (and am STILL in love with my brows) Post-procedure care includes using Vitamin A&D ointment every day for about 1 to 2 weeks so that the ink sets into your skin properly. I was slacking on that ointment the first round- which resulted in a scab and ultimately, loss of pigment. Thankfully, Tina was reachable through texting and gave me instructions on how to minimize loss of pigment. Soo thankful for that, Tina! I returned a month later for the customary one-month follow up so that she can touch up any spots that she missed and am so pleased about the service and overall as a whole, how much time microblading has saved me from filling in my eyebrows in the mornings! I've been going to Tina for over 3 years because I only trust her with my eyebrows. I've gone back again and again for touch-ups and she never fails to amaze me. My eyebrows look better and better every time... Seems impossible because she does a perfect job each and every time.If only I had heard of Tina before, that way I could have saved myself a lot of time getting ready in the morning and still have imperfect brows. She has an amazing gift and she makes me feel beautiful. Seriously, getting a tattoo... On your FACE is a big deal... I mean I always have images of like tattoo artist gone bad and boom you get a mushroom stamp on your fore or fivehead. I did all my research in choosing Tina to tattoo on my eyebrows after the case of "let's look like a naked mole rat" from high school plucking away follicle after follicle. In all the "permanent makeup" options in Houston, I'd highly recommend for you to get on her usually one to two month booked waiting list to get your natural, feather-stroked eyebrows. After looking into another technician? Artist? That most Asians I know go to, I'm so glad I went Tina's route. They look so much more natural and my friends always tell me "your eyebrows look on fleek" (w/e that means, jk I know, stop it! It's annoying) :p I seriously had thin, thin eyebrows last year before July 2015. Tina did her magic and retouched them before I left to the big city the next month. She was gracious enough to move around her schedule so I could get a retouch today since I flew in last minute from NYC and was not going to pay the retouch price in NYC of $200. Her retouch prices are very reasonable and the initial price is one of the best investments of my life. Lol.
