I recently got pierced by Sammi and absolutely loved how informative, and professional she was. I had the piercing done previously by another shop and had to remove it because I was in pain and given misguided aftercare information. Sammi explained everything to me very throughly and even told me what went wrong with my pervious piercing. The prices are a little higher than you would usually expect but you definitely get what you pay for. If I ever think of another piercing to get I will definitely be making the drive from my home in South Louisiana to Corpus Christi. Read Less

I went in for a nostril piercing, it ended up being a bit pricier than I had expected, but it was worth every penny to know for sure that the artist was proficient and sanitized. I went to Phat Tat's at the recommendation of someone from Black Point Tattoos.  I'd been thinking of getting my septum pierced for years, but I had read that the healing time was extended, and the piercing painful.  I had already set up an appointment and cancelled in McAllen because I was so scared.  I decided to get it done with Sammi because I heard she was a pro.  She was kind and answered my many questions.  She was detailed about aftercare and gave me a handy printout of aftercare instructions.  I was so anxious before the piercing that I started crying, so I was surprised when she counted to three and said it was over.  It didn't even hurt.  At all.  It was amazing, but I was so tense with anticipation that I ended up getting a cramp in my leg.  That was all me though.  I HIGHLY recommend Sammi for a septum piercing.  Mine is lovely and I love it.
