This is the worst place I have ever gotten a tattoo from! Couldn't tattoo a straight line and couldn't color in the stripes on my flag without leaving blank spots. Went back 3 times because I got told it would get fixed and it didn't. Then when I said what I wanted fixed they got attitude with me because he did a shitty job. This is a MINUS 50 REVIEW! Run away! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! If you want to walk out scarred and traumatized this is the place to go. On the recommendation of someone who obviously needs to be shot, I went here. CURT  attempted to tattoo a triskele behind my ear. At some point he said screw it and went freehand, into my hair line, not shaved. The lines are jagged, they don't meet in some places. The skin was ripped. Some of the lines and dots are one. It doesn't even resemble the design that was on the transfer. What could have been a beautiful piece of body art looks as if my 8 year old drew on me with a sharpie marker. Just got the best tattoo I've ever had. This marks number 5. Tom was absolutely wonderful in helping me choose my final design and spent his time drawing it up. He was the best manager I've worked with yet. Huge thanks to him for all that he did and for being super friendly, chill on top of it all. The one and only Curt did the actual tattoo. Curt Moore is THE KING of great tattoos.  He actually counsels you on your ideas before he lets you get a tattoo that may not age well or be in a location in which it won't look good.  I recently got my 4th tattoo from Tattoo U and have never had anything but the absolute best experiences there.  The staff is always friendly, laid back and helpful and they treat you like one of the family.  I believe this helps with the anxiety of undertaking large pieces, if you feel like you are in a comfortable environment.  Everything in the shop is 100% sterile and only the best products and equipment are used in this shop.  I am sure you can find cheaper tattoo shops in town, but Tattoo U is very reasonable, especially considering the quality!  Good work ain't cheap and cheap work ain't good!!! I have been going to Tattoo U since they opened almost eight years ago, and they are the best around. The owner Curt has tattooed me and my wife completely, and not once has any of the work faded(most of my tatts are almost seven/eight years old), or healed wrong. Anyone who says otherwise needs to prove so by coming up with pics. This is the best shop hands down, and the staff is only able to do any tatts or piercings if the owner says they are able to and have meet the qualifications of doing that work. Read Less

Went with a friend and both got our Tragus done (little part on inside of ear). Good job piercing, barely any pain. Shop is a little messy but instruments look very clean and sterilized. Also got a tat behind my ear. Not exactly how I wanted it but decent never the less. Employees seem pretty nice other than the old hag at the front desk. She's very rude. I've been to this location twice now for piercing jewelry.  Both times the staff have been both lacking in knowledge and treatment.  Rude and not knowing what they are talking about, both times.As a piercer myself, I find this place to be horrid.  I will not be buying jewelry from there again and would not consider getting tattooed there.  I would never allow them near me with piercing or tattoo needle.
