The only 2 seats in waiting room were taken up by the large family getting whoever tattooed who also had couches in their room and young children all around. Never seen that many kids in a tattoo shop and I have 4 myself, you just dont do it. Parents want to be tuned out to pain and artists dont want to be bumped. Went in for an estimate was told other artist would be back in 5-10 minutes 20 at the most we waited an hour in the car because of no seating inside artist was still a no show running errands for the shop and he could have been making money. I love the art work I got here and the price was perfect for the custom work I asked for :) the other shop in town wanted $ 250 bucks for it and wasn't going to do what I wanted .. everyone in this shop was fun , friendly. Where to start? Goodness, I walked in so excited and nervous to get my first tattoo yesterday. I wish I could have caught the artist's name, for he was awesome! Of course the first is the scariest, but he was patient with me and very calm. I like that he'd stop for a minute if I got too nervous or something, to let me breathe. Kudos to the awesome artist who I got to share a lot of laughter with because that stuff tickles! On a more serious note, I can never give enough than...ks to a clean tattoo parlour. There were a smorgasbord of health certificates on the wall which really does make you feel relaxed before getting inked. Then I watched the artist open new equipment, clean the stuff that isn't disposable, and he wore gloves. They were very smart with sanity and safety! Then I had trouble with my money afterwards. I had checked my balance before going in and counted up every dollar, including tip money. Then I discovered that in that small amount of time someone had stolen my money, so I underpaid what I had left in cash and they let it slide. I know how hard it is to be an artist and that really means a lot from a fellow artist for him to let that go like he did. I really wanted to point that out. Will definitely return eventually and make sure I have all cash next time. These guys are great. This place is great! Can't believe I never checked it out before it's right down the street from where I live! Really nice people very clean and sanitary work stations! While living at Fort Hood I was introduced to an amazing artist and I am hooked! Xan and I started working on my sleeve before I moved to Alaska. I recently flew back just so she could work on it. She is absolutely amazing with color (and cover-ups). She is one of the few still in the business for the love of the art. If I will fly 3,000 miles from Alaska just for her work I guarantee she is worth the drive from anywhere in Texas! You should see her before you settle for anyone else. Read Less
