Ben Fiedler did my first big piece back in November, and I absolutely love it! I had been researching artists in the area for a while when I came across his work, I emailed him and pretty much the very next day he was emailing me back for details on the piece that I wanted. I sent him a few pictures for inspiration and basically said that he could just take that inspiration and run with it, and on the day of my appointment he had drawn something up that was beautiful, soft, romantic and pretty much exactly what I had imagined in my head. He was so knowledgeable and it showed! Every question I had he answered. Since my arm is small and the piece was bigger, he told me right away how important placement would be and where to get it on my arm so that it wouldn't wrap so much. He was such a perfectionist with his work that we probably placed and replaced the stencil at least 3 times which of course I didn't mind! I trusted that he knew best, which he did! I downloaded yelp just to leave this review because I wanted everyone to know how amazing this place is, and how kind and patient the artists are. Being a very small girl with very little tattoos, sometimes coming into shops can be intimidating because you feel like you don't know much, but I definitely never felt intimidated in this shop or around any of the artists. I will obviously be returning for more once I can save up, because you really do get what you paid for! Also, during the healing process my skin had a particular reaction to the red ink, which Ben told me sometimes happens, and whenever I texted him about it, immediately he responded to tell me what would help and his recommendation did the trick! Overall just incredible service even after you leave the shop.

Ben is awesome. If you're looking for a traditional style, bold tattoo I can't recommend Ben enough. Beautiful, clean, laid back shop. Really comfortable place. Great experience.

Ive had an insane amount of compliments on the jackalope piece he did for me as it was the more visible of the two. His color work he does is super vivid. I highly recommend Ben.

Ben Fielder does masterful work. I trust him so much that I drive in from Houston to get tattooed each time. I met him a few years ago while my wife was attending a workshop. To kill some time, I got a First Nations orca and was very impressed. Since that first tattoo, Ben has done a memorial piece for my dog, a small marathon tat, two separate pieces on my inner biceps (and superimposed anchor/tall ship; and a compass rose), a big time touch-up on two 20+ year old back pieces, and my last one -- a vintage style rocket. The shop is always clean and comfortable and I would trust any of the artists at Royal Tiger to work with me. Jarret and Kady are also are very friendly, patient, and highly skilled. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this shop, especially for first timers. There is a small lot in front of the shop. There is also plenty of street parking adjacent to the shop.

Ben Fiedler at Royal Tiger has done 4 out of my 5 tattoos and is simply amazing. His line work and colors are so phenomenal that it's kept me coming back every time. The most recent tattoo he gave me was an 8-bit Mike Tyson from Mike Tyson's Punch-Out and I don't think anyone could have done a better job creating the effect. Plus, you couldn't find a nicer, more pleasant tattoo artist to hang out with while you're getting tattooed.

Ben is very professional with client comfort and satisfaction being top priority. From the moment of initial consultation through design creation and tattoo completion Ben's care and love for art and tattooing truly show. The environment of the shop is very welcoming and clean. It has great décor from personal artwork and flash to historic tattoo representation. I fully recommend Ben and Royal Tiger Tattoo for anyone considering a tattoo, you surely wont be disappointed.

Jenna Lee does amazing work! She has worked on several people I know so when I was ready, I had no doubts I would go to her. I have never felt silly going to her with ideas of what I've wanted done and the atmosphere in the shop has never ever had a hint of pretentiousness. My close friend had a great idea for her first tattoo that incorporated symbolic features of where she grew up. Jenna took it to another level. I tell absolutely everyone about her. You won't be disappointed, truly.

I am the kind of person who has a bunch of tattoos and still feels super awkward and nervous walking into tattoo shops. That's just not the case at Royal Tiger. Ben and Jenna are super friendly and down to earth while also being insanely talented and professional. They are honest with customers about what is possible and what will look good as well as what will hold up over time. They care deeply about their work and their clients and will do everything in their power to make your experience a positive one, and they don't make fun of you for making weird faces while you're getting tattooed. Ben has been tattooing me for over five years and I would follow him anywhere and so it makes me insanely happy and proud that he has been able to open his own shop. There are tons of places to choose from in Austin if you want to get tattooed, but Royal Tiger is always my number one choice and it should be yours too.

First off I want to say that this by far has been my best tattoo experience. I have 6 other tatoos so I've dealt with some other places before and even though they weren't awful experiences I didn't go back to any of them. So I went in not expecting much but to my surprise, Ben turned out to be not only an amazing artist but kind and professional as well. I got a koi thats on my whole thigh that took a couple of sessions. I get tons of compliments about it anytime it's showing. I would absolutely recommend him and his shop to anyone looking for a new tattoo, and would go back without hesitation if I choose to get another tattoo in the future. It's a brand new shop and is very clean and nice to be in. Ben and Jenna(though I have not worked with her I met her at the shop) are both super laid back and easy to get along with. I'm very proud to have a tattoo that I love this much. So by all means if you are looking for a tattoo this is the place you should check out.

Not sure where to begin but to say that Ben Fiedler is an incredible artist and tattooist. I've been working with Ben on a full sleeve for the better of 7 months(May 2014) and it has been above and beyond anything I expected,not just by the work itself which is world class but also how easy it has been to be a client of Bens. I've had some interactions with other really talented but because they are so talented they seem to be full of themselves and are sometimes diva's,that couldn't be further from the truth with Ben,he's super laid back,friendly,professional and a true pleasure to work with. The work speaks for itself,it really is some of the best work that I've ever seen and has been worth every single penny that I have spent on it. The fact that he has been so easy to work with just makes it that much better.The shop itself is Brand New, and as of now it is Ben and Jenna,the shop is int a great location with a coffee shop right next door and a ton of food options just up the road.The shop is very clean and very pleasant to be inside of. The center itself doesn't have a lot of parking but theres plenty of street parking on the side street. Both Ben's and Jenna's work is top notch and though I've only worked with Ben they are both super laid back and super cool people to work with. Do yourself a favor if you are looking for a tattoo stop by Royal Tiger Tattoo,it'll be the best tattoo decision you'll ever make.

I had been researching artists in the area for a while when I came across his work, I emailed him and pretty much the very next day he was emailing me back for details on the piece that I wanted. Ben is very professional with client comfort and satisfaction being top priority. From the moment of initial consultation through design creation and tattoo completion Ben's care and love for art and tattooing truly show. The environment of the shop is very welcoming and clean. It has great décor from personal artwork and flash to historic tattoo representation. I fully recommend Ben and Royal Tiger Tattoo for anyone considering a tattoo, you surely wont be disappointed.

Jenna Lee does amazing work! She has worked on several people I know so when I was ready, I had no doubts I would go to her. I have never felt silly going to her with ideas of what I've wanted done and the atmosphere in the shop has never ever had a hint of pretentiousness. My close friend had a great idea for her first tattoo that incorporated symbolic features of where she grew up. Jenna took it to another level. I tell absolutely everyone about her. You won't be disappointed, truly.

I am the kind of person who has a bunch of tattoos and still feels super awkward and nervous walking into tattoo shops. That's just not the case at Royal Tiger. Ben and Jenna are super friendly and down to earth while also being insanely talented and professional. They are honest with customers about what is possible and what will look good as well as what will hold up over time. They care deeply about their work and their clients and will do everything in their power to make your experience a positive one, and they don't make fun of you for making weird faces while you're getting tattooed. Ben has been tattooing me for over five years and I would follow him anywhere and so it makes me insanely happy and proud that he has been able to open his own shop. There are tons of places to choose from in Austin if you want to get tattooed, but Royal Tiger is always my number one choice and it should be yours too.

My army friends love how it turned out.She was very patient in getting the placement just right.I'm extremely happy with the work, and enjoyed having them put on.Ben is my friend's favorite tattoo artist, and his work speaks for itself.This shop takes tattooing seriously, and both artists care deeply about their craft. I will definitely be going back when I figure out what I want next.

First off I want to say that this by far has been my best tattoo experience. I have 6 other tatoos so I've dealt with some other places before and even though they weren't awful experiences I didn't go back to any of them. So I went in not expecting much but to my surprise, Ben turned out to be not only an amazing artist but kind and professional as well. I got a koi thats on my whole thigh that took a couple of sessions. I get tons of compliments about it anytime it's showing. I would absolutely recommend him and his shop to anyone looking for a new tattoo, and would go back without hesitation if I choose to get another tattoo in the future. It's a brand new shop and is very clean and nice to be in. Ben and Jenna(though I have not worked with her I met her at the shop) are both super laid back and easy to get along with. I'm very proud to have a tattoo that I love this much. So by all means if you are looking for a tattoo this is the place you should check out.

Not sure where to begin but to say that Ben Fiedler is an incredible artist and tattooist. I've been working with Ben on a full sleeve for the better of 7 months(May 2014) and it has been above and beyond anything I expected,not just by the work itself which is world class but also how easy it has been to be a client of Bens. I've had some interactions with other really talented but because they are so talented they seem to be full of themselves and are sometimes diva's,that couldn't be further from the truth with Ben,he's super laid back,friendly,professional and a true pleasure to work with. The work speaks for itself,it really is some of the best work that I've ever seen and has been worth every single penny that I have spent on it. The fact that he has been so easy to work with just makes it that much better.The shop itself is Brand New, and as of now it is Ben and Jenna,the shop is int a great location with a coffee shop right next door and a ton of food options just up the road.The shop is very clean and very pleasant to be inside of. The center itself doesn't have a lot of parking but theres plenty of street parking on the side street. Both Ben's and Jenna's work is top notch and though I've only worked with Ben they are both super laid back and super cool people to work with. Do yourself a favor if you are looking for a tattoo stop by Royal Tiger Tattoo,it'll be the best tattoo decision you'll ever make.
