I would give Gilded Spirit more stars if I could! This is my second time getting permanent makeup; the first was in Dallas, and my recent experience at Gilded completely exceeded my previous one. I live in a small town, so actually found Aubrey and Brooke through Google, and drove in two hours to meet them. Though a stranger, I immediately felt at home at this salon. Aubrey did a beautiful, natural upper and lower eyeliner around my eyes, and Brooke filled in my brows with a fabulous powder/ombre technique. The girls use modern techniques (no grandma or chola brows here!), and really worked hard to customize the makeup to my personal facial features. It's so great to have a natural base when I roll out of bed (I have small almond shaped eyes that look naked without liner and used to pencil in brows everyday), so permanent makeup is very much worth the investment to me. The numbing cream the girls use works great, so I did not experience a bit of discomfort, and the ink is high quality and the perfect color. I truly truly am so thankful that I went to Aubrey at Gilded Spirit Beauty Solutions for my permanent eyeliner! I have been thinking of having this done for ten years, and finally my dream came true! I was not nervous at all, as Aubrey exudes total confidence in her abilities, has an inherent skill for this, and possesses a true eye for beauty. I have been working with Gilded Spirits for a few years now. My skin is INCREDIBLY ink resistant and it has proven really stubborn. I had almost given up on my eyebrows ever looking like they did before they stopped growing. This time around they recommended the microblading. Brooke performed the procedure. I was truly impressed by the time, care, and attention to detail she took from beginning to end. She spent a lot of time prepping my eyebrows - working to ensure the... shape, thickness, positioning, etc. were all perfect - and asking for my opinion along the way. I absolutely love my brows - the thickness, the shape, how it contours and really balances my features - evenly!  Brooke did such a great job and was so patient with me with all the measurements to ensure that I was completely happy.  Getting ready is so much faster and really, it's amazing how less time I spend in front of the mirror each morning not having to redo my crooked, off-sided attempts of doing my brows with pencils or powders!  Just think - at the pool/beach this summer or while I'm on travel, I need not worry about my brows washing out! Leading up to my appointment to have my eyebrows permanently tattooed, I was really scared of this process that is so, well, permanent! Aubrey made me feel so comfortable and really showed an interest in what I wanted. She took her time and did an amazing job. I am so please with my brows! Wow what a change in my life.  I have not had eyebrows for as long as I can remember.  First of all because I am blonde but then more so when I became gray.  I got so tired of always having to draw them in.  Now I have a whole new look.  I have eyes again.  I was a little afraid of the tattoo thing, but permanent makeup tattooing was painless and Aubrey was kind and gentle.  She was very knowledgeable and helped me through the process.  Her office was peaceful and I felt very at ease.  Now I have confidence and permanent beauty.  Two of my good friends saw the change in me and they too have gotten new eyebrows from Aubrey.  I HIGHLY recommend Aubrey for anyone that has that lack of eyebrow syndrome. Aubrey is absolutely amazing. I never thought in a million years I would ever get "permanent makeup". I'm not even a makeup girl. The most I ever wear is eyeliner, mascara & shade in my brows (and that's on special occasions). I got my brows done and some light liner and it looks incredible!! I have always been nervous of even an optometrist going near my eyes (I used to flinch and pull away) but Aubrey has such an amazing calming energy that you can't help but feel relaxed. I almost even fell asleep while she was doing my brows. I'm also a huge baby and I hate needles. This did not hurt AT ALL!! I was also not the least bit nervous that there was a needle by my eyeball ;) who else is sick of eye-makeup remover? I sure was..I think that's why I never wore the makeup (the chore of taking it off at the end of the day). Now I can just add mascara and be done.
