I visited Moon Tattoo a few days ago and got my first tattoo ever by artist David Poe. I can't say enough how happy I am with the finished product! The environment and staff were very relaxed and pleasant which made my first tattoo experience the best it could be and put me at ease. All of the artist at this shop are very talented. Jonathan Bravo is an artist to watch. I got my first tattoo from him over a year ago at another location and followed him here to get two more , today was very important as I got a cover up of a very old tattoo that was a regrettable one for many years. It affected how I dressed each day and went out in the world. Today he literally made it just disappear. He did an incredible amount of work in the short time frame that I was available. I will have my next sitting in oct , if not sooner ( somebody cancel so I can get in sooner !) and will reveal here my before and after. I am really glad to hear everyone's positive reviews about this place but this has got to be the most monitored group of postings I have ever seen. I had the worst experience and basically paid for a tattoo that I have never gotten !!!! They are not compassionate or considerate when I explained my situation to them.. and I never saw any drawings of my tattoo .. when I would call they didn't even know who I was !!! I paid over 200$ to these people and didn't get a tattoo or anything but a hard time and money lost!!! Terrible !! It was so sad because I had looked for the perfect tattoo artist and thought I found it in David ...but you never know how rude or how people are going to be in real life! Read Less

This is my second time having Jonathan Bravo do some work for me, but first time at this location. Very clean and professional studio, playing 80s gothic music instead of the pounding rock music you usually hear at tattoo studios, which I found very relaxing. I left a bad review and they deleted it. Do not go to Johnny Bravo because he does bad tattoos, he cancels appointments, and he gets mad if you ask him to resize or reposition the stencil after it's been printed. I've had 4 tattoos from him and they all came out bad. The last tattoo I paid $450 in full, he did half of it but then he got mad and never finished. I came to Moon Tattoo to see David for my first tattoo this past weekend and the entire process was very enjoyable. The studio is easy to find, clean, and comfortable. More importantly, two things stood out to me. Just got a piece done from him and I couldn't be more pleased. He was very accommodating and easy going with the design process. I'd like to think I wasn't that picky but I had a couple key elements I wanted included in the tattoo. He tweaked the initial design and when he brought out the sketch I was in love with it! 7 hours later I'm in love with the finished result!
