Im not surprised that every review on here is 5 stars! This place is awesome. Specifically Karina. She did my cosmetic brows. I was so nervous that they would look completely awful  - even though pics of her previous work looked really great (hence why I chose her). I was scared because, well, after all they are smack dab on the front of my face in plain sight. She was professional, and clean. She made me feel comfortable and overall the fine line brows look really good (even on day 1). There wasnt any pain associated with them - a mild scratching sensation I would say. The price was fair. Everyone seemed nice and docile. The restroom was clean. I enjoyed my experience and cant wait to go back for touch ups and to see the final product. Updates to come. Dropped in with my sister to get matching tattoos. We went in with an idea for a simple, traditional design with only line work. TC accommodated us as walk-ins, and everything went super well! His lines are clean, we loved his design, and he talked us through any questions or concerns. In the 2 hours we were there, we had a great time chatting with the staff. I got my first tattoo at Black Dagger a week ago and plan on going back to get a few more. Several friends had recommended Black Dagger, so I went in on a Monday night just to get a feel for the place. I felt comfortable and at ease, the place was clean, and the men were friendly. I spoke with Jeremy first, who explained the process to me as I was a bundle of nerves. I've been tattoo'd (is that how ya spell it??) by Eric Solis four times and can't wait to go back again. I truly believe Eric is an amazing artist who is so dedicated to his craft. So I've been ruminating on my tattoo for years, hyping it up since forever. I'm visiting my cousin for her wedding and she is tatted to the nines, I've always admired her tattoos. During the reception, her tattoo artist TC is at the wedding. We exchange info and he says he can fit me afterhours the next day (I am flying out the day after and have limited time). We arrive and immediately, I knew this would be awesome. TC is knowledgeable, reflective, funny, engaging, and professional. Before I knew it, the session was over and 3hrs had passed. I recommend this place to everybody. They have the skills and experience to give you an awesome tattoo. Also, if they can't take care of you, they have the professional grace to point you in the right direction. Something that most shops won't admit or be humble enough to do. Read Less

In my opinion, a good tattoo artist will give you what you want, but a great tattoo artist will give you better than what you asked for. TC Hatch did an amazing job finishing an older tattoo of mine with some roses that were a perfect cross between modern and traditional style. The atmosphere is chill, the people are cool, and most of all, they don't try to rip you off. Would definitely recommend this place! Read Less

I got a tattoo done by Jeremy yesterday and it was a perfect experience, from the initial email describing what I wanted through to the finished tattoo. Jeremy was really quick to reply with some follow-up questions and sent me a sketch soon after I paid a deposit. His drawing was excellent, and I only wanted to make one minor change to it, which he was cool about, and he totally nailed it. The end result is a really beautiful tattoo that is exactly how I envisioned it (actua...lly it's even better, because of his color ideas). Jeremy is really friendly and easy to chat with, totally professional, and very talented. The studio is really clean and comfortable. BDT is the best damn tattoo parlor I've ever been to. The first time I went into the shop, it was because of a friend's referral. I had a day off and I needed a new tattoo. Everyone was smiling, the shop playlist was on point, and I was worked in within the hour. Got a big-ass piece on my forearm that day, courtesy of Jesse Vomhit. Finally taking a moment to write a review of Black Dagger Tattoo. First and foremost, this shop is an all-around pleasure to be at. EVERYONE in the shop is nice, honest, and helpful. Saying this shop is clean is doing it a disservice. The place is near spotless, smells good when you walk in, and has no clutter. Now…on to the ink work. Jesse Vomhit did the work on my three sugar skulls and I could not be more thrilled. His design (which was derived from a concept of mine) vast...ly exceeded my expectations. The sugar skulls were supposed to have representations of my 3 kids and he utterly nailed the design concept. I could not be more thrilled. Aside from the initial consult, in which Jesse asked me all sorts of questions (placement, color schemes, details, etc.), he and I emailed only a couple times to iron out the design. He was that spot on in matching my vision of what I wanted. I only had to wait a week for an appointment which was super-fast. I went in on 9/12 for a 6:30 appointment and we were underway by 6:45. After cleaning the heck out of his station (which is a good thing), Jesse outlined the sugar skulls pretty quickly. He initially asked if I needed to stop at any time but I only needed one break (between line work and coloring). During the line work folks from the shop would stop by and talk with Jesse, me, and my wife. Again, the staff were all super-friendly and knowledgeable so I did not mind the chat at all. After the break (and another cleaning of the station) we started the color work. That went much faster than I had expected. We finished up around 10:30 then I got to see the finished product. The line work is solid, the solid colors are perfect, and the shading is some of the best I’ve seen around. Jesse knows his stuff. He then properly wrapped up my fresh ink and then it was my wife’s turn (she can write her own review). I could NOT be more pleased with this experience. The staff, the shop, and the work are all top notch. Black Dagger Tattoo gets 5 stars in my book. And I will definitely come back to have an older piece spruced up and hopefully more work done after that. I have been tattooed by Jesse twice. Once at his old shop, and again at his new shop. Great line work. Great artistry. Great artistic vision. My dad was a local musician (Don Walser of Don Walser and the Pure Texas Band) and I wanted to get his guitar tattooed on my arm. I had an idea of what I wanted and Jesse knocked it out of the park. I also got 3 roses around the guitar and the detail was amazing. I've gotten so many compliments on that tattoo. I recently went back and got a hamsa tattoo in American Traditional style. He took a Jewish good luck charm and made it in the style of a sugar skull. I've gotten even more compliments on this tattoo because it's more visible. Hell, I even got a "your skin is beautiful" compliment from a woman. Can't say enough good things. Jesse will be finishing my arm over the next few years! Read Less
