I never even got a tattoo here. I emailed the owner, Matt Brown, that we had a group of 3 wanting to come in on Saturday at 9PM. I sent him images of something we may want and asked if he can design something for us. He stated, "yes just come on by." We show up as discussed and the female at the front said she had to help two guys who walked in as we were walking in through the door. Matt walks up so I brought up the email. He states that the email was not an official appointment and that we needed to put a down payment in cash for an appointment. This was not stated anywhere in the email or their website. He didn't even remember the email that was sent three days prior and obviously did not have any designs ready for us. He said we just had to wait or else "Sayonara." We walked out. Not to mention I am Asian and do not appreciate the use of the Japanese language when the whole conversation has been in English. Not to call the white man racist, but it is what it is. Read Less

I love this shop. I'm pretty heavily tattooed, but my old shop closed down and I was very very hesitant to try a new artist. So hesitant in fact that it had been 7 years since my last tattoo. I've looked for a good artist for what seemed like forever, but couldn't find anyone I felt I could trust. But that when I found this shop. I am in awe of the tattoo that Karina did. Everytime I look at it I see something new, or am reminded why I got it. If I could give them 10 stars I would! Karina and Matt were so helpful, kind, and welcoming the second I stepped in. Karina listened to what I wanted, bounced a few ideas around with me, and even asked questions I had not thought of. She seemed so excited while she was taking down my info, and set the appointment. The day came, and I think we spent a good 15 minutes checking on the type of font, anything else I wanted to add, and her just double checking that she had exactly what I wanted. The whole time she didn't get upset if I told her no on an idea that she had. When we finally started tattooing she kept talking to me, checking in to see if I was alright, and seemed to be enjoying it. She made me feel so comfortable, paused if I needed a break, and kept me updated on how much time we had left. Matt kept checking in to see how everything was going, and checking out the progress. When she was finally done she was buzzing with anticipation, and as ecstatic as I was when I got my first look. She didn't make me feel rushed to leave, and even talked to me about my next tattoo. I cannot say how thankful I am that I found a place that makes me feel at home. Not once did I feel judged, looked down on, or like they just saw money when talking to me. Truly unprofessional. I truly give this business a 0 rating. The manager was very rude and unpleasant. They did not greet us with smiles or attempted to listen to a potential customer. I was a first time customer that went to this business. I asked questions and I was told to leave because I had an attitude. The owner of this business called my personal cell phone the next day threatening, cursing and used a derogatory racial word referring to race, after I left a review on how they treated me. I reported this issue to The Arlington Police Department and blocked their number. Unacceptable behavior from a business owner. I walked in at 7 pm on a Saturday to get my daith piercing done and was out the door by 7:30. Matt did it for me and he is really the best. He has such great customer service and made us feel really comfortable. Before he pierces he tells you the process/exactly what he's going to do. And even after it's pierced he talks you through how he's going to clean it up so there's no surprises. Looove my tattoo! I finally got my first tattoo today by Audra and it's awesome! Walking into the shop, we only had to wait about 45 minutes which went by super quick. Wish I had the opportunity to give this place a good review. We were greeting by who I can only assume was Skyler. We told him what we were wanting and gave him a rough sketch of the idea. He proceeded to tell us that he couldn't do it. Never gave any suggestions on what he thought would work. My sisters and I went there a few days ago after lunch at subway for some spontaneous matching tattoos and were horrified and disgusted on how we were treated. A heavy set caucasian man called us every name besides our god given name. 21st century and it is a shame there are still racist folks like this around. Just because we are black does not mean we have to chose from the dollar menu!!! B.T.W the artist tattooing and drinking beer coming out the back with a inked up glove on is not sterile, i work in the medical field. Think before you ink sisters BAD SHOP!!!! I went to the kandy shop to get a double cartilage piercing. It was pierced crooked, with the wrong jewelry, AND got infected because of the way it was done. I stopped in this shop to see if they could help me out because it was very painful. They took out the cheap jewelry, cleaned me up, and put the correct jewelry in. Within hours the swelling has gone down, it doesn't throb anymore and I'm so happy. Don't choose cheap guys. I learned the hard way! I highly recommend the chosen one. Nice people and fair prices. This is my second tattoo and it was a much better service and experience than the first time I had gotten inked. Honestly my first time (elsewhere) was so uncomfortable that I wanted to leave before I even started the ink itself. Anyways, I came into the shop about two hours before closing so ofcourse the tattoo artists were packed but Skyler offered to come on his off day so I could get my ink done. Every single tattoo artists there were nice and made me feel completely comfortable being there by myself- which  was very relieving. A quick mention, that Karina (was not my artist) is so pretty! Anyways, Skyler was, and he was super chill and nice to talk to. Not intimidating at all. I showed him a pretty blurry image of just a branch of Japanese cherry blossoms I found on google, and he managed to make it into a bracelete tattoo that I imagined in my head! The process was fast and the work was great. Right after I shared my tattoo on snapchat, so many of my friends complimented it and asked where I had gotten it. My friend and I came in before 12am, thought they were closed but then saw their "OPEN" light on at the far left of the store front.
