Will NEVER return. This place needs to be visited by the THD. Went in almost 3 weeks ago for a nose piercing.  I went back a week after I got it done as it was obvious the ring they used was too small and was told they use the same ones on everyone. Probably order them in bulk sizes which is why they do them so cheap.Had to have it removed tonight. Cartilage is messed up and was not healing. The needle was pushed thru at an angle and the ring used was metal, not non surgical.If you have never been, dont go. It is all about the hype. The piercer breath smells like hot ass, I went in on one dollar piercing night and ended up being charged $35 so yeah that's a joke. he screwed in the ball too loose so I ended up having to go back so I didn't lose my piercing and then he wanted to charge me for the ball. so maybe if he would've did it right the first time I wouldn't even of had to came back. I should have reviewed before going but friend talked me into going for piercing of cartilage and third hole on ear lobe.The guy wasn't friendly and he pierced the wrong ear for cartilage piercing then asked me why didn't I say anything . I told him I thought that you were piercing the third hole first from the pinch that I felt because he never said anything before jabbing my ear. I have had several piercing and this has been the most painful healing experience. I got total of 4 piercings and all hurt very badly and after I told him I'm in pain he kept jabbing n spraying my ear and it made it more painful. Another thing I didn't like is he touch my earrings without gloves so being in medical field I ask him to please sanitize the rings first and he also didn't wipe my ear with alcohol before starting. This is my third week and my ear still is in pain and very sensitive to touch and ear itch very badly I'm thinking I'm having allergic reaction to the cheap ring in my ear. I had to ask the guy what type of cleaning for piercing and he seem very clueless and not educated on the proper cleaning steps. My first piercing done on lower Greenville handed me paper with step by step of cleaning instructions as well as the cleaning supplies .I will stick to going to my first piercing shop off lower Greenville. Customer Service is not of value at this tattoo shop. I hate to give a black owned business a horrible review however they have placed themselves in this position. First thing I like to mention, DO NOT BY ALL MEANS GET ANY “PIERCING”. They have an unqualified, highly unprofessional young man that does their piercing services. He is Very Rude, and lacks knowledge of the after care and not to mention has no variety of customer service whatsoever. I have had the opportunity to come to this establishment on more than one occasion, their tattoo artists may be award winning but I’m unsure by who? They are all kid minded, their art is mediocre, and not to mention bad quality. The ONLY reason I know this place stays open is because of how cheap their prices are. Any AWARD WINNING SHOP, Has no need for “weekly tattoo” specials, why? They don’t need too, their artist and service speaks for itself. EX:Alien Ink, Ink House Tattoos, Randy Adams, etc. I recommend finding new front desk recepients with actual customer service skills, finding a talented and qualified piercer who will represent your company with more diligence. He is a scam artist, he double charges you when you use your debit/credit card. Without asking or giving knowledge of him doing so; Which is illegal, and he has been reported multiple times. Not to mention he stays on his cellphone during your session, he was agitated on both visits and complained of having to work long shifts. He did not mark my breasts, nor my nose. And unfortunately my nose became infected from the needle he used, and my breasts I’m unsatisified. I have tried to call and have not received any call backs. Let me start by saying attitude is everything! My friend and I went in to receive piercings. The lady at the front desk was pleasant as well as the man who showed us to the room for piercings. Listen all of that went out of the window whenever the artist finally came. His demeanor was messed up from jump. He didn’t greet us (that’s fine) but proceeded to act like we were being a nuisance to him. My homegirl wanted me to hold her hand and his exact words were “No she’s going to be in my way”. This is a poor establishment with horrible service. My best friend just went in for a piercing and walked out with a bleeding tongue and was overcharged for a piercing. When it was supposed to be 1.00 on Saturday's. The guy who did the piercing was already agitation and complained about how he was there all day. So it was a rushed worked not only it was rushed but it was done wrong. And he Didn't give her anything before and after the service. When she made a complaint to the other employees. He then became VERY disrespectful towards her and didn't try to correct the wrong. She was only instructed to call the owner when he only accepts ”TEXT MESSAGES” what a joke. Got tatted today by AP. Outstanding experience! I have a low pain tolerance and was very anxious, but he was so chill and understanding. He uses a tattoo machine that is very quiet and reportedly less damaging to the skin and he also uses various topical lidocaines to make the session more bearable. I texted the owner about thier $30 tatts and did exactly what i was i structed 2 do. I went n and chose 2 yatts out of thier $30 book which was few to say the least. I asked 4 the next available taty artist and he said he wouldnt do it 4 $30, charged me $60 and the lady n tha front charged another $5 4 a paperwork fee which ive never ever heard of, newhere. I went in to Da Kandy Shop(in Dallas) a little over a year ago. My brother and myself wanted to get tats so we went in around 10pm on a Friday night. We didnt get the warmest welcome upon walking in the door but it was what it was...wasnt tripping b/c people were busy doing tats. We signed in and paid the $5 deposit or whatever the fee was that you have to pay before getting work done on you; and signed their waver. I was unaware that the guy that did our tats(Suave or Mr.Suave is what he called himself) was kind of new to the game so it explained why our tats came out looking the way they did. Luckily we both got something simple like hearts and stars so it wasnt too bad. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give him a 5. I would go back to the shop BUT just not back to this guy! I went with a friend for $2 piercings and when I got there I found out there is a service fee and then a debit card fee and just for that I ended up paying $8 dollars then I got a double cartilage first of all they used a piercing gun . The guy barely wiped my ear then  he did the dots and he was like is that good then he got out the jewelry out of the jewelry without letting me chose it then he used the piercing gun which is terrible for cartilage and he didn't even clean off the gun or anything  and I ended up paying $25. Went in yesterday, received a inviting greeting from the lady at the front desk. I had an idea of what I wanted to get, but wanted some feedback from an artist. After a brainstorming session with Taboo, he got everything lined up and started going to work. I’ve never gotten a tattoo by someone who is this passionate about his art. I went to the shop earlier this year to get a tattoo on my wrist and after it healed it needed to be touched up because the lines were jacked up and some of the words line faded. I went by the shop and they told me to text the artist to set up a time to get a touch up I texted and I kept getting the run around. I got the tat in February and here we are December and I still haven't gotten it touch up. Mind you this happen to me two years ago. So now I have to find someone else to fix their mistake ma. I went in on a Wednesday for the $1 piercing special. Let me start off with, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!The guy brought me in, asked what I wanted pierced and I said my tongue. I had it pierced before but took it out years ago for personal reasons so I know how a proper tongue piercing goes. Usually, they use a sterile single use individually packaged ring as well as have you rinse your mouth with special sterilizing mouthwash. This dude opened a draw full of all sorts of rings just thrown in the drawer. Grabbed a tongue ring, then proceeded to grab two latex gloves out of a box and DROPPED one on the ground but picked it up and STILL used it to hold my tongue out. That's fucking nasty. I asked him if he was serious and he said "yeah, you'll be fine." Luckily I'm anal as hell and wash the fuck out of my piercing and it has healed well but shit. The whole experience was just unprofessional and dirty. I would not recommend. You pay $1 for a piercing but $5 for paperwork to cover their ass if it gets infected. The paperwork literally says "most infections are caused by poor aftercare" Well guess what, most infections are ALSO caused by poor sterilization techniques. Never again will I go here or recommend. OG Poppy did my tattoo. I wanted a small fist/ sankofa bird tattoo. He almost gave me the wrong tattoo. I stopped him when he began placing the stencil. That should've been my warning of things to come. The line work isn't crisp, it's already starting to blow out and my color faded. Guy was quick and i love my belly piercing but they dont tell u there another 5 $ charge on top of the 1$ piercing waited in line for a hour and when i got in the room he told me the nose was 15 so i only got my belly! I was in town for the UFC fights last weekend the wife and I didn't want to stay at the room so we drove around. We stumbled across this shop. Upon entry we were greeted in a very nice humble manner by the receptionist. Just looking we saw the $10 tattoos book so we decided to get a few. My wife ended up getting 2 and I got 3. I love the tattoos we got the only problem I have is I got a face tattoo under the corner of my eye. As of right now its puffed up and itches like crazy I'm pretty much covered from head to toe in ink. Never had one puff up like this, I'm not gunna bash the artist cause she's an amazing artist I just think she could get a little more practice with thin skinned areas. A few month ago my friend and I went to get piercings. She got her cartilage and I got this little spot on my ear. Mine was very painfully and he had his headphones in the entire time he was helping us. It took about 30 minutes for the wait because everyone working there decided they needed a cigarette break. Well about a week later I went to the doctor and they had to cut the piercing off and drain it. The spot was so infected. Not only mine but my friends, as well. We went back and were told no refunds and the piercer told us it was our fault. He told us we didn't clean it properly or when he pierced it a hair may have gotten in it. We both cleaned them properly, this being my fifth piercing and already having 2 tattoos...  I got the hang out how to clean it. Will not being going there again, so dirty and rude customer service. Great shop. They offer about 26 different artists. I had Big A from Cali and he is great at lines and shading. I read previous reviews and you should too but definitely go check the artists out. They each have office space with work and pictures. Worst case you decide not to get one. As far as professionalism this shop is more relaxed. There is a waiting room and you consult the artist before being prepped. I got a half sleeve that was 200 with color for my first tattoo and I love it. So I went to Da Kandy shop with a couple of girls to get tattoos, turns out they couldn't give me the tattoo I wanted so I decided to get my nose pierced. Mind you, I already had my left nostril pierced and I wanted the piercer to pierce the right one, I told him I had already had the right one pierced before and I didn't know if he could see the hole any more. He said he could still see it. So he pierced the "hole" or what he thought was the hole and it was very uneven next to the left piercing. I told him I didn't like it and he decided to get an attitude and tell me that he did what I told him to do, he began to clap his hands together while he spoke and said that he did what I said and he could move it over without a problem. I told him I just wanted to take it out. And he continued to say I might as well pierce it again because I had to pay him regardless for "setting up" but I have no recollection of him sanitizing the chair or doing anything that falls in the category of "setting up", he didn't even clean my nose before he pierced it and I had a significant amount of face makeup on. He pierced it again and forced the ring in and it still didn't fit my liking so I paid the $10 and got out the chair. I think I'll stick to places that give you the necessary piercing solution and won't give you an attitude while piercing. Customer service goes a long way and getting loud and blowing your hot breath in their face isn't the best way to achieve good customer service. Wasted $18 and the hour drive down there for nothing. buyer beware!!!! if you want cheap work done by seriously inexperienced artists who are just starting out then go right ahead.before you get a tattoo here do yourself a favor and seriously research reviews from all over the internet and sites that show business reviews. this shop gets people to leave good reviews to cover a seriously bad reputation. these newbies have no training in cross contamination or blood borne pathogens.the owner has 12 artists on the day shift and 12 at night. he charges each artist a booth fee and as long as he has those spots filled and gets his booth rent from 24 artists a week he doesnt care if theyre a good artist or not. he just wants that money and will let anyone who says they can tattoo fill that empty spot as long as he gets paid.they have relocated several times, torn peoples skin in ways ive never seen (do your research online and see for yourselves),they have given infections,and generally are a tattoo shop for "homies".the only benefit this tattoo shop has ever done for the industry is take the ghetto cheap skate clientele that other shops dont want to deal with.ask yourself this- if you needed surgery would you look for the cheapest surgeon or would you want the piece of mind knowing you got the best quality and that you know your chances are great?you can spend $150 on a pair of shoes but wont wanna pay for a tattoo that looks good for the rest of your life!?if you want quality tattoos do not go here! if you want piercings do not go here!! do you think your going to get a good quality nickel free surgical steel piece of jewelry for these guys $1-$5 piercings? no! your getting the cheapest quality stuff by the most inexperienced newbie tattoo artists in the dfw area.but hey, if you dont care and wanna be a cheap skate go right ahead and visit this place! dont say i didnt warn you...they have no honor or code for the real artists and history of tattooing. its all about the money and not the art here. This shop thinks it's acceptable to charge people for tragus piercings done with a gun, the same guns operated by 16 year olds at certain mall establishments. Any professional shop would be able to tell you the horrors and dangers of doing any piercing, even an earlobe, with a gun, but they can't because of course this is not a professional shop. All I came in was for a navel piercing. They messed it up. First what shocked me was the person didn't wear any gloves and didn't clean the navel before piercing it.
