A lot of people in this profession act as if they need to have their heads examined. In many ways some of the established artists do whatever they can to limit competition and ideally even who can enter the profession- in a very unprofessional way. Sadly you are nobody in this business until somebody in this business thinks you’re a ‘menace’, and they will lie about you until they die (with a surprisingly high suicide rate); trust me on this. Teaching is a talent that few art...ists have, so to those artists you are a (double) threat. I could go on and on, but after a while it feels like the same hateful person over and over again, but with a different name and face. The same artists used to give ladies who wanted to become tattooists heck, but I’m not hearing much of that anymore as I see this slowly becoming a female dominated industry in the distant future (I see who is buying). I've been told that somewhere in these reviews that somebody put that my shop has been closed 4 or 5 times from the health department. That is a slanderous lie. Anyone can check with the Texas Department Of Health & Medical Devices in Austin, Texas & check it out for themselves. I have never had any violation or been closed down during any inspection or at anytime that I have been operating my business. I have been blocked from viewing any of the bogus or slanderous comments about me. It's other competition trying to make me look bad. It's childish when they act like that. There is plenty of room for everyone to make money for our family. Too bad we couldn't get along with each other. It would make our industry look alot better if we could help each other out instead of trying to bash each other for no reason. Read Less
