I have been searching for a tattoo artist since I moved here in 2004. Electric Baboon was recommended, along with Jon. Met him before scheduling my appt. He listened to what I wanted and ended up doing two very important tattoos for me. I couldn't ask for a more relaxed atmosphere where the comedy will take your mind off the tattoo and have you laughing. His work is impeccable and my tattoos turned out perfect!! I understand this place as a local audience but I have to say their work and business practices are the most incompetent place I've ever visited. I appreciate true art work and customer service. The attitude that was presented to me while I spent time to visit their shop was adolescent. I have over 20 years of art work and tattoos from several countries and states. These guys are laughable. I wouldn't recommend any other place. The friendly staff make it impossible not to relax while your sitting for 30 minutes or 9 hours getting work done. I didn't end up having work done simply because another shop could get to me the same day I was looking and it was a simple touch up. But I did come here to ask about the touch up and the artist was very friendly and willing to work me into his busy schedule. I just happened to need the touch up done sooner. I will only go to this shop. It is always clean and has the best vibe. I have know the owner since I began getting tattoos 20 years ago and he is always a professional. Other artist don't take this job seriously, they show up late or do a hack job and charge double. The prices are what you would expect for ink that will last a lifetime. I've had tattoos by Jon, and he's really good. I went this time to have a tattoo recolored and to get a new one. Chase did the work, and at first it looked beautiful. However, the color on the rose scabbed up and came off, and now have two blank places on the piece that weren't there in the original tatt. The butterfly I got was beautiful, but got infected and some of the ink came off and my skin split. I called several times, but my calls were not returned. I will not do business again with this shop. I live in California, and will find one here. THe artists here badmouth customers and people who call on the phone. Read Less
