This review is going to be very detailed. If you don’t want to read the whole thing, just read this: Southern Draw is very clean, professional, and considerate. Matt (tattoo artist) is hilarious, professional and so helpful. So. My friend and I were going to get tattoos (my first, her second) at a Tattoo place in Gatlinburg. While we were waiting, a man walked up to us and actually warned us about the shop (which was surprising because it has great reviews). The place was closed anyways so we asked him what he recommended. He said “Rhonda Marsh at Southern Draw”. So we went there. Unfortunately, Rhonda was totally booked so we went with Matt. And we are so thankful for that. He took his time to answer all questions (I’m very inquisitive and curious) he also showed us his process of opening brand new bottles of ink and new needles so we KNEW that we would have a clean/safe tattoo. He was so caring and sensitive to our expectations. He aimed to please with his art and we never felt rushed. I can’t compliment him enough. I had my nose pierced in here. I was cleaning it just like they told me to. I developed a keloid and went to a place near my house to have it checked out. It took forever for the people to get it out and they had to use a special tool and it took two people. They said I never would have gotten it out by myself and that the guy that did it NEVER should have used that jewelry. I didn't even have it redone. Don't want to fool with it. Read Less

I stopped in for a few piercings. The shop itself was super clean (100 on their previous inspection), with an entertaining, yet serene atmosphere. They have a beautiful selection of jewelry. Came to this place last year to get my sons name on me very nice staff even had my son with me. So we decided to come back this year so I could get another tattoo. Called ahead and they said no appointment needed just walk in. Once I arrived the guy was very unwelcoming and rude. Told me to come back and maybe they could get to me in a hour. I also had to make accommodations for my my baby because he wasn't allowed inside even if my wife was holding him and he was there last year. So I went down the road to united ink. This place was fantastic! My friends and I walked in to a clean shop, a friendly smile, and a great atmosphere. We left with three phenomonal tattoos. Eric is a master tattoo artist. He took his time to make sure my first tattoo was exactly what I wanted, and he was a perfectionist, which is a must with something permanent. When visiting Pigeon Forge there are many tattoo places you can visit. None of them are like Southern Draw. Five stars is not enough for this place! My best friend and I were here for a girls weekend and wanted matching tattoos. Shelby hooked us up with Erik and I can not say enough great things about him. This is my second tattoo and it was the best experience yet. He was friendly, he chatted with us the whole time, laughed at our shenanigans, and made the experience something to remem...ber. I would travel here just to have him do another tattoo for me. Then there's Logan. After he changed my bestie's daith piercing I talked myself into getting my nose pierced. It was so smooth and fast. If I ever get another piercing, I will be using Logan! I did my research and Logan was by far the most professional and knowledgeable piercer in our area. He was also highly recommended. The studio was immaculate and the health scores are always a 100. He also only uses the best jewelry around which decreases the risks of sensitivity. I received a daith piercing and I totally expected some pain, but I was so surprised at how almost painless it was and how very quickly the piercing was done and daith ring was in! Matt was able to take my 6 yr old back piece that was done at another shop in TX that I wasn't happy with and turned it into an awesome Black & Grey piece i'm now proud to show off. It was a tattoo that was going to require someone who does great work.; and Matt conquered it. Walked in with an appointment and was instantly welcomed by every one in the shop. They are very well priced for the quality of their work, you get way more than what you paid for! I got a cracked light bulb with a mountain veiw in it my artist was named Brett Newman. Brett was very friendly, easy to work with and did one hell of a good job. One of if not the best places to get a tattoo in TN! I live in Pikeville TN, 45mins from Chattanooga. It's a bit of a drive from here to Sevierville but well worth it. Miss Rhonda is wonderful and so is the shop and everyone in it. The atmosphere is awesome also. I've never had any issues with any of my work at Souther Draw! By far thee absolute best tattoo service that I've ever had! Hands down. From the moment that I walked towards the ramp to the doors, Logan instantly greeted us outside. Once we got to the reception area how nervous that I was, Shelby instantly made sure that I felt welcomed as well as made sure that I find exactly what I was looking for which calmed my nerves. As for Rhonda, the owner, she hand customized my design to make it become perfect. She took her time, and made sure that I was as comfortable as possible.
