Called ahead to make sure they'd be open, the guy said yes. I arrive at the time he said to arrive, and he told me he wouldn't do a small tattoo for less than $400. He was rude both I'm the phone and in person. I don't think their quality is the worst (judging from the pictures) but there are certainly better tattoo shops in Nashville. Read Less

These guys were awesome!!! My two friends and I walked in and they helped us immediately! Domanick did beautiful dot and line work! Also, He was a champ for dealing with three girls getting their first/second tattoos. Definitely would recommend this place for people looking for a clean and friendly atmosphere for tattooing. This place is legit! We are on vacation here in Nashville and wanted matching tattoos ( my fiancé and I) we almost made the mistake and over paid at some chain brand tattoo shop... but we found this place on yelp and couldn't be more happy. The artist Aaron was super polite and cool. He helped us design exactly what we wanted and we paid half what we would have at the other place on music row. I would recommend this place to anyone. Domanick Libretti is the worst tattoo artist I have ever worked with. His attitude is the worst of any, his patience level is for crap. He gives irreparable and awful tattoos and takes no care and no pride in his work. He wants your money and he wants you to leave. At many many points in my tattoo he took off the top layer of skin with the force of his needle. I wouldn't let him practice on a pig. Even with the best of care after my tattoo, it became infected and is ruined. After he took off the top layer of skin the first time, he stopped and looked at me...and then proceeded to tattoo over that spot several times, as if to cover it up? Or make it seem like that's normal!? I can't rate this place any stars. Any shop that would allow an artist like this, they lose my vote, my confidence and they will lose MANY customers, as I will tell everyone I know to NEVER walk through those doors. Over-priced and under performed. Worst tattoo experience and a lifetime of looking at a piece if SH** that this careless person just sort of.......fumbled his way through, as if he had never tattoo'd anyone before. And once more, to reiterate...he was a impatient, rushed, did not fill in areas of the tattoo making it look like an outline with variations of grey and black filling that appears cheap and awful. The spots that he took off the skin have healed with little to no ink remaining, causing the tattoo to look shotty and almost like a joke. I would not recommend him to a single soul, and as a result...I would not recommend a shop that would hire such individuals. The owner definitely does not care about quality or clientele. Careless and rushed was the name of the game. I was treated as if I were in the way and an inconvenience. This should never be the case when creating art that never goes away on your body. I was traveling thru Nashville on my birthday. Visiting with some friends on a special kind of road trip. We were in Nashville for a makeshift honeymoon. We were downtown waling around and saw a tattoo sign while day drunk. We went into the shop to get silly matching tattoos, but left after not liking the artists sketch, pricing or availability. We went to the place next door and had a similar experience. We ended up calling this place, asking if they take walkins and headed down. We took a $5 uber from downtown to the somewhat sketchy location. If was pretty fitting and instantly felt right. Jay and some other bastard (didnt catch his name, but was wearing a bastard Tee) hooked us up. Jay sketched us exactly what we were wanting, they got us both on the table simultaneously and we were out of there with a very reasonably priced tattoo within an hour or so. The guys here are genuine and the real deal. Do yourself a favor and pay $5 to avoid the downtown shops and go see some true professionals. We could not be happier with how things worked out. The entire crew of artists here don't just give you a tattoo... They are much more than that. A majority are the best parents any kid can have. Went in and wanted something but he let me know it wouldn't work where I wanted it. I first 'settled'. I then changed my mind on quote and placement and he was very patient with me changing my mind last minute. I am VERY pleased with the outcome and he also went over a much needed cover up with me. Yelp says that they're open 24 hours, but we came here at 12:00am to see the lights off and the store closed. The sign at the front of the store also says "tattoo&piercing" so we came back the next day at 10:00pm for piercings but it turns out they only do tattoos which was not made clear. Basically we wasted two trips here and left disappointed both times. Read Less

Wish I could have found out how good this shop was. Tried to go in and get a tattoo and despite the 24/7 hours posted on here they were not open. I had my "Cont;nue" tattoo completed here by Jay. I only met Jay and Justin for the short time I was here but they were funny, kind, knowledgable, and professional. They had upbeat music playing and talked to my friend and me like they had known us forever. I felt very comfortable. I was just a walk-in and my tattoo was done in under 15 minutes. They didn't make me feel uncomfortable with the questions I asked or get impatient with me when I asked them to change the angle/placement of my tattoo 5-6 times. I was grateful that Jay took the time to explain why I *wouldn't* want my tattoo in certain places because of what would happen to them overtime. It was obvious that he cares about the quality of his work and how it will look overtime. They told me that if I needed a touch up (which I didn't need) that they would take care of it free of charge. It was VERY clean, sanitary, and a friendly environment. Came in on a whim with my partner so she could get a small tattoo. Jay was heading out, but stuck around and kept the place open just for us (relatively early in the morning as well!) He asked if I wanted one, which I always do without much convincing needed. Our tattoos were small and simple, Jay knocked them out, but was very attentive and did impeccable work.
