I went in for my double lobe piercing and I cannot express how much I appreciated my piercer Dixie! There were some complications related to me piercing but she was patient, kind and made sure that it was fixed. I cannot express how much I keep looking at my piercing because it is so cute. Quick, friendly, and clean. However, I was charged $60 for my second hole lobe piercings instead of the $40 shown in their prices online. I asked why the extra $20 and their response was $40 is for the first holes only... Ask for Dixie!! This was my first time here & I came for two piercings. They were very friendly and efficient! The entire experience was maybe 20 minutes, from when I walked into the door and back to my car. Dixie did my piercing and was very careful and reassured me of any concerns the entire time! I stopped in yesterday with a problem of my 30 year old ear piercing. Joe was very kind and incredibly knowledgeable of my inflammation of an earlobe, and suggested a at home remedy and change to surgical steel to see if the inflammation goes down. He was kind enough to give me his card and said to text with any other questions.I can't  stop this recommendation for Joe and the shop without saying how incredibly clean and sterile the whole shop was. So bummed out that this went so horribly. My friend and I went in to get 2 very small tattoos and we were mocked about our font and our design ideas. My friend wanted a quote for her grandma that passed away down the side of her arm, she showed him the font and he said exactly "oh yeah the stupid girly font that nobody can read" laughed and asked what I had. I know we probably should've just walked out at that point but this place came so highly recommended and his work was nice so we decided to overlook his rudeness. I then presented him my tattoo that I wanted it was the word daisy written in dainty cursive and at the tail of the y it went into a very minimalistic daisy flower the entire thing is about the size of a quarter he said okay we can do that one at least it's not in her font (my friends font that Ashe wanted) then he quoted us (this is where it gets ridiculous) for her 4 words in a very dainty font with a minimalistic butterfly at the end (the butterfly had like 4 lines to it and could fit under a quarter) he was gonna charge her between 280$ and 350$ and mine (that could entirety fit under a quarter) wouldn't be 180$ mind you the show minimum is 60$ and my tattoo was obviously a shop minimum so he then said it's 180$ cause of the tiny little daisy at the end I think it's kinda redundant to have a little daisy after the word daisy if you pick one of the other I think it wouldn't look as stupid (yes he said stupid) because you wouldn't be having daisy next to daisy. These tattoos were for my beloved dog named daisy and my friends dead grandmother! We told him this and he still was a jacka**!!!!! I wAnted the name daisy next to the flower because that's how I always wrote her name and her very first color had those minimalistic Daisy's on it. So it was a rude,sad and hurtful experience. We ended up going to icon in Nashville. Honestly I know this is messy of me to do but I would recommend black 13, safe house, or just about any other tattoo place but this one. On 12/24/2016 I wanted to get a double septum so I went here, I was greeted by Dixie. Dixie was Fucking AWESOME! She was very patient with me, answered all my questions, and she did the piercing so quick I didn't even realize she did it �.The best part was the piercing came out perfectly straight and she was honest. She recommended I get my double septum in stages due to the pain and having to hide it during work hours(I'm following her recommendation). I got an industrial piercing here last week, and everything was clean and professional. I paid beforehand while waiting so I wasn't able to give a tip that reflected on my experience, but overall it was good. Dixie was clean and well-prepared. The only thing I didn't like was she didn't tell me what gauge this was, which I feel like is a little important to people who may have no idea what it's supposed to be (like me). I might like this place a little more if they had consistent office hours. I've stopped by at least 4 times and have only been in once. I got my nose pierced after trying on 3 different occasions. The normal piercer was busy the first time, I was told to try again another day even though I called 30 minutes before closing, and finally I got someone on my third try, but it wasn't the normal piercer. The piercing didn't hurt at all, but it hurt more than usual when she was trying to put the jewelry on. I've had my nose pierced before and it never took anyone that long. Fast forward a few months later, my ring moved in the middle of the night and I decided to have the piercer take a look at it. I drove by during normal business hours and there was a sign on the door saying closed for a few weeks for renovations. Maybe I just have bad luck with this place, but I'm done with trying. This tattoo studio laughs in the face of any other shop in town. I went there to get a side piece done a little over a month ago and went there last week to get another one done on my back. The studio is VERY clean and the staff who works there are very personable. Jay has done both of my tattoos and I HIGHLY recommend him. His talent is obvious in his portfolio. The man is a genius. I haven't had any work done by any of the other artists there but I'm sure they are just as highly recommended. They are reasonably priced and will work with you on what you want for the money. I came to see an artist here that had moved from another shop. Shannon was her name, and she was just as wonderful as when I got my first tattoo from her. Everyone was very friendly and hospitable and the shop was extremely neat and clean. The whole front is a big room so you can see the artists working. I was told it's Nashville's oldest tattoo shop, and it lived up to it! There was a group of people standing outside when we got there, there were lots of designs on the walls, and the music was fun. It was very busy and buzzing at 11pm on a Friday night. The atmosphere was fun and their front girl is foxy! I will definitely be returning and I've already made my next appointment! Thanks! I went here for my very first tattoo and was not very aware of what pricing would be. I talked to friends and asked what the price of their tattoos was so I had a general idea of what to look for. When I got there and told the artist what I wanted, he said it would be $120 for my tattoo which is a very basic design and there is not much detail or coloring involved. I went ahead and paid for it and got it. The guy said he was going to do some fancy shading but looking at it now, there's no shading. A friend of mine later got the same tattoo with more color at Lone Wolf and got it for just $60. I got less for $60 more. Awesome. Read Less

I had my second tattoo done there and it came out perfect thanks to an artist by the name of DAN he actually made my first tattoo look alot better than I expected. When I went back for my third I had a friend with me that wanted one as well.. thinking Dan was there. Unfortunately for me, he wasn't but I had a great experience with them the first time so I decided to try the other artist. I immediately was told that I couldn't have a simple 3 words put on my hand so I decided to get it somewhere else, as I was getting the tattoo the so called ""artist"" began talking to the lady artist about how he charge extra the closer it got to closing time, he talked bad about previous customers, he didn't converse with me at all, he seemed to be rushing and feenin for a hit at the same time... but worst of all he stuck the needle in to far and I had blots of ink scabbing over my tattoo (not the normal scabbing) when it healed I noticed very uneven noticeable crooked lines with dull ink in every spot except where he blotted me... It was by far the worst and most unprofessional place I have ever been to! We came in five minutes before their scheduled closing time on Friday night October 16, 2009, and were still worked on without being rushed. We were treated extremely well. Everyone treated us both with respect and patience. This being my first tattoo I asked a lot of questions which were answered without any problems or issues. The artist also helped me to find the type of design I wanted, did not rush me even though it was right at closing time for them and did excellent work at a very reasonable price. I had cannot say enough about how clean and professional everyone was. My wife is always concerned with sanitation and the staff was very clean. They did a fantastic job. I went in to get my nose pierced and had some trouble with sorting out paperwork (birth certificate, license, etc.), the staff was very patient with me. Brandi did the piercing and was very thorough with everything. she also had a lot of patience when it came to my wimping out for five minutes haha. I went to Queen of Hearts with my roommate who had gotten all of her tattoos and piercings done there. I had never had any work done. The artist who did my tattoo was fantastic. I told him roughly what I wanted and he sketched it for me exactly as I asked. He was very light-handed and the actual process was much less painful than expected because of this. I have since been to several tattoo parlors in search of the perfect artist to do my next piece and have yet to find one that's even comparable to Queen of Hearts. It had been several weeks since I had a black sun tattoed on my back, there were spots that were washed out and blotchy, despite the fact that I had followed normal after-care procedures. I dreaded going back as I naturally expected to be told that I had done something to cause the problem and that I would have to pay for touch-up. I figured I was totally out of luck when I discovered that the artist who did the work was no longer an employee but the guys behind the counter told me to come in when the owner was working, she took a quick look at the tat, okayed the repair and scheduled me to have the work done by her personally. She redid the entire tattoo, was really cool and it looks much, much better. Thu did my work and he is the first person I have ever let put a piece of work on me that I myself have not drawn. I'm not sure where Thu said he came from before Queen of Hearts but they let a real artistic genius out the door. And hey, Ben's right next door, the two of these guys have opposing style that would please anyone's taste.
