I had been wanting some script so a while but I hadn't found a place I liked, until I found this shop. I can in as a walk in and I was greeted by Pete who was very friendly asking what I wanted to get done and it only took about 10ish minutes to get everything ready. They helped me find the font I wanted and size and how thick I wanted the lettering. The place is nice and clean. Evan did my tattoo, he was very friendly and comfortable to be around. These guys are amazing! We were visiting Nashville from out of state and I called ahead and said there's 7 of us wanting tattoos the owner (can't remember his name) said no problem come on by. One of the women in our group was getting her first tattoo and her artist did an amazing job of making her feel comfortable and giving her exactly what she wanted. I was getting a piece to match one that was existing on the other side of my shoulder and two on my wrists. Jordan did my tattoos and not only was he able to match the existing one but he did a much better job than the original. He listened and consulted with me throughout the process. All of the yes.My boyfriend and I decided to walk in and get a tattoo while on vacation in Nashville. We were greeted by Pete who was amazingly accommodating from start to finish. There was minimal wait time, which was surprising because the walk ins just kept coming. All staff were friendly and engaging. It was also fun to talk to the other people there while waiting to be tattooed. The shop was clean, well maintained and current. I especially loved the Nashville "home" mural (great photo opp ) . Our tattoos were done quickly, and well. We love them so much. Ultimately the best part about this place was how accommodating they were when we ran into trouble paying with an out of country card. (They do accept them, ours was just acting up)! They worked with us until we were able to figure out a solution. So much patience and understanding. Our girls trip included a last minute tattoo, after visiting another shop in Nashville that left us discouraged and feeling limited with "shop policy size requirements", we gave it another shot with Pride and Glory.... beyond happy we did! The shop is not only clean, more importantly the guys are very welcoming and patient, we changed our thoughts more than once (sorry!) and they remained pleasant and patient with us. I walked in last Friday and requested a fairly simple tattoo (three words in small script.) I was a little surprised by the price based on I have two other tattoos that are more detailed and cost less, but the guy I spoke with explained that most places in Nashville start at $125, so I decided to just go for it since I'd already been to two other tattoo shops and they were not able to fit me in (as a walk in)Jordan did my tattoo and he was very nice. He explained why the size of script I wanted would not look good in future years, and convinced me to place the tattoo in another location where I would feel more comfortable with the size. My daughter and I decided last minute to get a tattoo before we left Nashville. So after reading yelp reviews and photo gallery we decided on P&G. We walked in at 5 pm on a Friday and was greeted by a wonderful tattoo artist who listened to what we each want. He went in the back and came back out after a few minutes with a few drawings.  After we made a few changes, we were walked into his back room and watched him clean the area and prep( liked knowing everything was clean and new). This was my daughters first one and he talked to her and made it easy. I was impressed with how quickly he was able to complete them, we walked out at 6pm.  As we walked out I realized I never got his name to put in the review, that would be the one down side of our experience. The only reason I could not give them 5 stars was bc the place did not have central air conditioning and it was hot. They did have fans and potable air conditioners but they just did not keep it cool. Read Less

This was my first tattoo and I couldn't have had a better experience. I was a walk in and was greeted by the owner and Cody, one of the artists. The owner helped me choose a font and sizing for my tattoo and made suggestions for what would look best. Cody talked me through how long it would take and made sure I wasn't nervous. Evan was my artist and was the nicest and coolest guy ever. He was super supportive telling me I was doing great and said when we were almost finished. We had a TERRIFIC experience here. We were in Nashville with a bunch of friends, and a couple of us decided to get tattoos. Everyone in the Pride and Glory studio was incredibly nice. Went to pride and glory for my first tattoo, i was a walk-in and they were able to take me basically right away. I was super comfortable the entire time everyone in the shop was easy to talk to and most importantly I'm beyond happy with how my tattoo came out. Stopped in last night with friends to get some info for a tattoo.. The guy told us he was booked for the next day but come in at noon and he would fit us in between appt... We went today at noon and no one was there so we went to a bar and waited ..went back at 1 and still no one there waited 20 more mins...and still no one showed ..we left and we to Nashville Ink down the street. I walked in today spontaneously, to get a tattoo that I wanted for a long time. We asked if we could come back later in the day, and we were given a time that worked perfectly for us, just a few hours later. I brought in some very rough sketches and pictures of ideas, and my artist (Codey) drew up exactly what I wanted! It didn’t take long at all, and he was super nice. This place is just awesome. The owner and Evan are the ones I dealt with. Love them both so much. Was in Nashville in May for the first time to celebrate my 60th. Just wanted my wedding flower, a daisy, on my shoulder. Evan designed the perfect daisy for me. I love it. Had a chance to go back to Nashville from SF this month. My daisy was so lonely that I just had to go see Evan for an add on.  My daisy looks amazing alongside two other flowers and stems. I so recommend Pride and Glory. I'm beyond disappointed with this shop. I was in communication with them regarding getting a tattoo today. I confirmed their availability and showed up. The shop was locked up. No one answered the phone (and the voicemail was full) and no one responded to the Facebook message. I ended up getting a great tattoo and having a stellar experience at Safe House Tattoo.. so, maybe I should thank the people at this shop for sending me there. I truly do not understand these positive reviews. I got a tattoo at this place approximately 1 month ago and it looks terrible. I went with my 2 sisters and we all got more or less the same design. All of ours turns out poorly. We had 2 artists between the 3 of us so I can't even chalk it up to an inexperienced employee. Over 4 weeks later our tattoos are still cracked. My lines are poorly defined and uneven. The visit and the facility itself was fine, although we were not given any aftercare instructions, which I thought was odd. This is my 4th tattoo so I do know how to take care of it. Overall, very unhappy since this is obviously a permanent disappointment. Read Less

These guys went above and beyond to welcome us to Nashville. My girlfriend and I stopped in on a whim to get a matching tattoo. The guys all helped craft the idea we had and with in 30 minutes, they had an image ready and started tattooing. My girlfriend had a hard time at some points and they walked her through it with no problem.  They were very welcoming, even staying  open a little later than they advertised so that we could get everything done. These guys do great work, and we both had probably our coolest and friendliest tattoo experience ever. Let these guys take care of you. They were able to quickly draw up our ideas and were very accommodating, especially with our friend who was getting her first tattoo hahaha. I came to get my first tattoo and had a few ideas but wasn't entirely sure which was more realistic. They helped me pretty much design my tattoo plus my next one and gave actual helpful advice. They didn't want to do my original idea for the fact that how I had planned it wasn't the best way to go about it for the long haul and it'd end up looking like crap. Stopped in while on a mini holiday from Seattle. I was fortunate that AJ had time to see me the next day. I went in with a copy of a watercolor picture of a hummingbird and a flower and he totally nailed it. It looks even better than I'd hoped. AJ did a wonderful job of taking my rough idea and transforming it into the custom design which, up until now, existed only in my head. I was a walk-in, but AJ spent a good amount of time with me...we looked at images on line to help me describe my vision, then we looked at technique in his portfolio to zero in on the look.  I spent the day in town talking to locals about area tat shops.  Hands down, Pride & Glory came highly recommended. Super-clean, upscale studio; very friendly and courteous staff... And AJ's talent is off-the-charts excellent.
