Was in Nashville on vacation and decided to get a tattoo. The guy who did it was nice, I can't remember his name just that he's from Bakersfield. But the tattoo after it healed came out horrible. Its patchy and faded, the coloring is so uneven. It's the worst tattoo I have ever got. Now I have to go to my place out here to fix it. I wouldn't recommend this place. Made an appointment for 7 gave a deposit of $50. 45 minutes still not in, OK shit happens no biggie. So I said may we please just have our $50 back. Yeah sure 15 minutes later still hasn't gotten up to give us our money back. We walked telling them to enjoy the free money. We only had two days on our honeymoon I wasn't wasting anymore time. He could have offered to reschedule or just said I'll call you when I catch up but no. That's not good customer service. I got a piercing at the Downtown location Saturday (5/12/2018) on my last night in Nashville. I should have just waited till I got home and saw a trusted piercer. I was pierced by Christina. I asked her before hand if I even have the piercing due to the way my body was and if she would look. She told me I was a fine candidate for this particular piercing. Long story short, she pierced me completely incorrectly with the piercing going through the wrong area. I came back to NH... and saw my piercer here who told me I should definitely take them out for risk of infection. I now have to wait three months to get it done again. After taking it out I realized the entry and exit are both 1/4” away from where they should be. Came in from out of town so I didn’t have a chance for an in person consultation. Had a few chats with Rob over the phone ahead of time and when I got there, he had drawn exactly what I was picturing. The place is super clean, the pricing is some of the most competitive I came across and the staff was all extremely friendly. Two of my best friends and myself were in Nashville and we were wanting tattoos. After looking around at places we called them. They accepted walk-ins which was awesome. When we called, they were able to take us right away. Once we arrived we stated the size of our tattoos and soon filled out our paperwork. We all had the same artist and he did an amazing job! Tim is seriously so great! He’s very patient and talks you through what he’s doing , how close he is to being done, ect. My sister, who was visiting from NJ, and I first, went on Thursday10/12 for nose piercings. Kerry, a young apprentice, was professional and patient. She informed us of everything and calmed us. Tim, tattoo artist, also interacted with us. After our piercings, my sister was very interested in a tattoo, and wanted it in Nashville. Tim spoke with us regarding what each one of us wanted and the meaning behind the tattoos. After speaking with him and seeing his work, we were convinced we were going back for tats the next day. We visited Nashville knowing we wanted to get some tattoos. The plan was to check out a few and get a feel for them before making a decision. 1st in the list was Nashville Ink. We arrived late at night and there were a few artists hanging out. We met Jarrod and Matt. They were funny and approachable and had a really good knowledge base about Nashville in general, although we heard they were both featured artists at the shop. We had such a good rapport with them that we decided right then that we would be back the following day for our ink. My husband was tattooed by Rob (his first tattoo) and I was tattooed by Jarrod. Matt did a cover up of an unsightly tattoo on my lower back. He took the time to really listen and was able to give me a beautiful tattoo based on my personality and personal likes.
