I have have gone to many tattoo parlors in 5 states, including NY and NJ. I can honestly say that Artwerks is now my "home" for all work I get done. I don't go to a tattoo studio for the place, I follow the artist there. This place is now my new tattoo home because of their recent addition of Teddy Monstar. He is by far the best artist I've come across and will produce a great tattoo when given jumbled ideas. His artistic ability is my saving grace for putting my ideas into an actual art piece. I felt comfortable allowing his artistic freedom in my tattoo. As for Artwerks the studio, I felt comfortable and very welcomed in their environment and they've got a great vibe. I like the location being up off the street and everyone there treats you like you've been coming there for years. Highly recommend this shop and of course Teddy! He's the best! Read Less

Went in a two years ago for a tattoo, and put a deposit down for a design. I went back in after a few weeks and not hearing anything, only to find out nothing had been done. It had basically been blown off. After waiting even longer, a design was sent to me that was not what I wanted at all. I wound up going somewhere else. I still have a gift certificate that I haven't used for Artwerks because my initial experience was not satisfactory. Couldn't be happier! I have a very special tattoo that was crap. Instead of a complete cover up Louie worked with what I had touched it up and added so much more to it. Best place to get some ink done IMHO. Louie and the gang are amazing and you get top notch work at very reasonable prices! No matter what style you are wanting to get done, you can get it done here. This isn't a shop that only specializes in black and gray, or only traditional or portraits. They truly do it all! Read Less
