I stopped in to get a navel piercing. The staff was very helpful and informative. They gladly answered all of my questions. My visit was quick with zero hassle. When I left they equipped me with a paper that had aftercare instructions and a phone number for additional questions and concerns. A friend and I went in today to get a matching tattoo priced. This was after I had Facebook messaged the shop and they said that I could come in any time to talk to an artist about pricing. We got there at open, and maybe they were having a rough day, but the two gentlemen that greeted us were rude and unhelpful. They asked us to pick an artist from the portfolios on the shelf, and wouldn’t even look at the tattoo we wanted done. The artist we picked wasn’t there that day and while we were talking about why we liked Amber’s work over the others, the guy behind the counter seemed miffed we didn’t pick him. We went down the street to Chrome Halo and not only received friendlier service, but also a ballpark estimate with little fuss, which is all we wanted. We will not be going back there ever and will spend our money elsewhere. Maybe the staff should be briefed on how to treat potential customers if they wish to have a good reputation in town. Irish, the piercer acts like his job is an inconvenience. If you have questions, don’t expect them to be answered and if they are, a very poor attitude will be followed. I was nervous about getting my tragus pierced and he didn’t walk me through anything. The needle and jewelry that he used was extremely oversized (and ugly at that) He was so rough with everything, pulling on my ear and shoving the jewelry though. It’s been a week and the whole left side of my face is extremely swollen and in intense pain. I went with my friend and her piercing Is doing the same thing. They are cheap and you certainly get what you pay for. I highly recommend going to Chrome Halo for piercings, they are right down the road. Went in for a took peircing today. The piercer Irish was really cool. He was easy going and laid back, answered all my questions and shared extra information I found to be valuable. The piercing was easy, really almost painless. He showed me their titanium atomizer and let me know if I decide I want to change my piece and make a cool color they can do that on site at a very reasonable price. Irish has given me 7 ear piercings over the last 3 or 4 years and I have to say that this is probably one of the best piercing shops around. I love how thorough and professional he is. He always makes sure you like the placement, you are feeling okay, and that you know how to properly take care of your piercing. The studio is very clean and everything he does is extremely sanitary. Poor service! Went with a friend to get our noses pierced and the man at the counter never once looked away from his phone, was VERY rude and unclear about any answer he gave and when I finally noticed what was on his phone I was pretty pissed off to see that Facebook was more important than his customers. I am a bartender and I have gotten tattooed at straight edge for 3 years now by William Wood. William Wood has done one cover up on me and 7 other tattoos. The work that he and the others have done is amazing. I have won many awards from tattoo conventions and other tattoo contests. The shop has many awards from different tattoo conventions all over there shop. In fact when i travel to other states and walk into other tattoo shops, down the street, at work, Walmart, grocery stores, etc. i have people ask who did the amazing work! Can i take a picture of your art work! It feels good when you walk into a tattoo shop in another state and they ask who did the work and tell him his artwork is amazing. It use to be my finance that was asked about his tattoos but now its me. I am currently working on my leg sleeve that i am competing with in April at the Tattoo Horror Festival in Nashville,TN. I've gotten tattooed at this shop for the past few years, on several different occasions. I exclusively use Will Wood as my one and only ink guy. He has done everything for me from roses for my daughters, a full half-sleeve cross with complimentary artwork, an asian-inspired piece on my other arm with a phoenix, dragon, and script. On my calves, he has done portraits of my children on one leg and portraits of characters from the series 'Spartacus' on my other. His work is impeccable. The coloring, shading, creativity, and the ability to take my idea and create an incredibly unique piece is a talent like no other. Not only that, but the portrait work he does is some of THE BEST in the business. They are incredibly life-like, the best shading and filling and line work you will ever get. I've not only used him exclusively for the past 6 years but also have referred my family and friends to him -- even my wife who has gotten incredible lotus flowers done by him. We constantly get compliments for his work, coloring, shading, and creativity. Overall, I love the staff at Straight Edge as well. All the guys there are incredibly cool to be around. The owner, Chris, is very laid back, friendly, and a great artist as well as all the guys are. The shop is always very sterile, clean, organized, and efficient. I've never had any issues with my tattoos, during healing and have never needed a single touch-up on any of Will's work. He goes out of his way for his clients to not only make them feel comfortable, but also has become friends with many of his clients (me and my wife included) because he is not only an incredible and talented tattoo artist, but a great person.
