Since finding Derek I've stayed with him being my artist. With the exception of one done by Alli who is also an amazing artist. He's always respectful and courteous. He handles every situation in a professional manner even when someone is disrepectful to him. He is the only artist I've ever had that does exactly what I ask without twisting the art into what he wants done. The customer service, cleanliness, and entire atmosphere of the shop is amazing. This was a great experience! Derek is awesome. All three of them were so nice, laughing and joking around and being so obviously completely themselves that it totally put me at ease. I was so worried that they would be snobby artists like ones I had encountered in the past, but they were the total opposite! The shop had a homey feel to it and was very clean. The price is completely reasonable, as well. They gave me great advice on my tattoos that I wanted, and I am going back to get more as soon as possible! I went as a walk-in, and they were able to get me in because I was doing a few small, uncomplicated tattoos. But if you're doing anything more than that then I would definitely make an appointment. I went in the for Friday 13th experience. I've been having Derek do my artwork for years now and he's the only person I'll go to. He's now done 9 of my 10 and I love every one of them. I get constant compliments. His work is absolutely amazing!! He's friendly and jokes around and makes it a fun experience. I trust his judgement and have yet to be disappointed! Stop looking, this is the place. Both Alli and Derek are incredibly kind and welcoming, no stuck up tattoo studio vibe here. The building is clean and comfortable, and easy to get to. Alli has taken my request of a Van Gogh painting on my skin and made it happen. Not locked into just one style, she has been able to create a detailed painting unlike anything I've ever seen. Amazing job done by Derek. I had an idea of what I wanted. He took the time to listen and then made it come to life even better than I had envisioned after being told by another studio to come back when I knew what I wanted or had a picture they could follow. Me and a gf made a 4 hr appt at tried and true. All she got was birds up her arm. The guy was late and then took 45 mins to make her stencil. It took him almost 3 hrs to do hers and then tells me when he's close to being done with her, "I won't have time for yours. I hope that's ok." I called Derek and he told me to come on over.
