So me and my husband decided to try a different tattoo artist to get nice pieces done. We usually go to "Zenful Art" but had a bad experience the last time we went, so we decided to try "Absolute Ink"...
So me and my husband decided to try a different tattoo artist to get nice pieces done. We usually go to "Zenful Art" but had a bad experience the last time we went, so we decided to try "Absolute Ink" The first time we showed up, we asked different artists the prices, and what we wanted. We were told pricing, and although we didn't have that kind of money at the time, we decided to save up and come back. This past Thursday, we gave our artist Brandon Pearce 60$ down, which gives him our spot and appointment, and gives him a couple days to draw up what we wanted. We paid our 60$ on Thursday, and made an appointment for this past saturday at 1:00pm. As told, Brandon was there, already had what we wanted drawed up (with his own little twist) and we loved both of our drawings. I got Michael Myers, and my husband got a reaper, with Brandon's own twist. The 60 we paid down, was for our appointment that we made, and it also takes 60 off our tats when their finished. We showed up yesterday, filled out our paperwork, and Brandon was ready to tattoo. He's been there for 3 weeks now, and we really loved his work, and wanted him to tattoo us. He charges by the hour (He's really fast) and gave us an estimate. He stayed true to his word. Once we filled out our paperwork, he started on my husband first. Brandon was very professional, and is about making his customers happy. The last 10 mins of his tats, he really put some AWESOME details in both of our tats. My husband's reaper turned out beautiful!! Brandon then started on me with my Michael Myers piece. Once finished, I cried because it was so beautiful. Brandon's attention to detail was immaculate. Although it's pricey, the work he does is worth it. Our experience here was great, and recommend anyone who wants unique tats to go see Brandon Pearce at absolute Ink. Their shop is super unique, and love how it's set up. I always fill like I'm in my element in a tattoo shop, and I really enjoyed being there with Brandon. Our work was beautiful.

This review is for the piercing portion of the place, as I have never been tattooed by any of the artists here.
Please please please do not go here to get a piercing done. The body piercers at Icon do a way better job. A couple of years ago I went here to get my suptum pierced, the piercer pierced it in such a strange place (so high towards the tip of my nose) and then pierced my friends lip. Her lip ring was pierced crooked and it looked awful. The piercer tried to make excuses about it but it was crooked, plain and simple.
A year and a half later I decided to give the shop another try, they had a new piercer, Ashley. Me and a friend both went to get our nipples pierced. This experience was a nightmare. She pierced both of mine and then I hear her say "oh no" and that she pierced them with the wrong size needle. She then proceeded to take the needles out while blood gushed down my chest. She gave me two options; to pierce them again that evening, or wait, come back and have it be even more painful after scar tissue had formed. So I chose the first option. She did not pierce them in the correct place and charged me full price for the traumatic piercing.
I will NEVER go back here, and warn anyone I know to stay away!!
Super bad way to handle business, and just inexperienced artists!!

I decided to wait 34 years to get my first tattoo, after two years of thinking about it. I finally decided to get a tattoo of my three cats (thus confirming I may be a cat lady like everyone says). My boyfriend's co-worker did the art and I made an appointment with Josh Adams, whose Instagram I have been following for a year.Josh was really awesome. He was very nice, seemed professional, and asked me questions about my cats. He said the drawing I'd sent him was a good composition for where the tattoo was placed, my inner forearm, and nothing about the art needed to be changed. He even started small to see if I would be able to take the discomfort (I was, hooray for not being a wimp!)Not long into the tattoo, I mentioned I also in the future want to get a sleeve of Disney cats and noticed he has done Disney tattoos. He told me he has a client that comes in and gets exclusively Disney tattoos (some of which I have seen on Instagram) so he was quite comfortable.After my tattoo was done, he explained the proper care. The price was exactly what I expected. It was all a great experience for a first time tattoo and I'm looking forward to getting Disney cat tattoos from him. And maybe Haunted Mansion? I love Disney, guys.P.S. The Yelp page and another reviewer said they don't take card as payment. They do now.

If I could give it less than 1 star, I would. Appointment was at 2:00, artist didn't even get there til after 3:00, and even though appointment was set up weeks in advance, he took another 2 hours at least just drawing it up. Another hour for setting up, and tattoo started at 6:00. Didn't leave til after 11:00. 5 hours of work and not even a quarter of a 3/4 sleeve is done. Good luck to those who try this. Maybe you'll have better luck

Specifically for Hayden.I waited until much later in life to get my ink done. I am very specific and picky but I realize everything in the ink world has the influence and mark of the artist.Was very surprised when I tried to book an appointment the length of wait time. But considering how long I waited for my first I (correctly assumed) the wait was worth it.I guess in the grand scheme of things I wouldn't want an artist that wasn't in demand (or worse offering a SALE).Hayden came highly recommended and I liked his style. Funny considering my first tat was just text.(In Latin across my chest)So happy with his work and attitude I enlisted his help again for my second piece. This one required serious fine detail and some artistic interpretation.Hayden did not disappoint. I checked his math (pun intended ) and after 90 min of design back and forth it took 45 min to do the work... perfectly:I have 3 more to do and can't see myself going anywhere else. Would like to see them take plastic... but besides that... I got nothing

I trusted Jacob "Chip" Rutz to permanently cover up an old tattoo on my chest. Just 2 weeks after the cover up, the old was was showing through. I sent him a picture of the old one showing through. Jacob would not get me in without making an appointment almost 2 months out. Low and behold, he messaged me (morning of appointment) that he was sick. I told him I would send a message when I woke up (work nights) because I couldn't make the 12 o'clock time he wanted. When I woke up, I sent him a message. He would not reply. When I sarcastically thanked him for his reply, he said, "I'm tattooing. I don't really sit around waiting for text messages to respond to". (Rutz). Steer clear. There is NO customer service here. I now have a tattoo with the old one shining through. He went on to say, "I'm not going to argue with you. I told you the time I could get u in. That didn't work for you. Maybe you can find another artist that can make you happy". (Rutz). I guess this means that I have to pay someone else to fix Jacob's work?

This review is specifically for Josh Adams. Josh is FANTASTIC. I have been going to him for about 5 years now and every time I walk in I know I will be happy but I am always over the moon when I leave. Look at his instragram, portfolio, or even the art on his walls. He is understanding and will take whatever idea you have and make it great. He knows his stuff! The shop is also greatly maintained, clean, and the employees are great.

I won't lie: the thought of having a tattoo artist with ICP tattoos was a huge red flag. I was eyeing the door.But I'm glad I chanced it, because I was totally happy with my tat. It healed just awesom...
I won't lie: the thought of having a tattoo artist with ICP tattoos was a huge red flag. I was eyeing the door.But I'm glad I chanced it, because I was totally happy with my tat. It healed just awesome, and I would go back again. They do have a ton of awards on their walls, and the place seemed super clean. Guess you can't judge a book by its juggalo (yeah.. I don't know)

Please please please do not go here to get a piercing done. The body piercers at Icon do a way better job. A couple of years ago I went here to get my suptum pierced, the piercer pierced it in such a strange place (so high towards the tip of my nose) and then pierced my friends lip. Her lip ring was pierced crooked and it looked awful. The piercer tried to make excuses about it but it was crooked, plain and simple.

Look at his instragram, portfolio, or even the art on his walls. He is understanding and will take whatever idea you have and make it great. He knows his stuff!
