I showed them a picture of what I wanted and some old guy with long hair did the tattoo and it is beyond ugly and disappointing! He made me pay first and I wish I hadn't. The tattoo was overpriced and garbage. I told him that I hated and he said he could do it over 3 days later.... Hell no! No time to heal and why the hell would I let you put anything else on my body ever again. Do not go here! Just because a person can draw does not mean they can tattoo! Trust and believe that! And what made me even madder was the fact that Dave was there and acted like the tattoo was sooooooo nice. I looked in the mirror and damn near cried! It's so ugly! I should have listen to reviews and waited for Dave! I am so dissappointed! I feel when you say "can you do this?" And I give you a picture, I trust you can. NOT!! Kay did my tattoo and it is nothing like I requested. I specially showed pictures of the colors I expected; full, rich, deep blue, pink and yellow/orange butterflies but got faint colors and very poor lines. It looks a hot mess and I hate it and now stuck with it! I wish I could post the picture. One butterfly looks like a square. Then she added some stupid lines to look like they flying and I wish they would, right off my neck. The detail is just not there at all and if this is 15 years of experience it's a shame. My husband and I were tattooed by Slim today, and what an experience! Slim and Dave were beyond professional and listened to what we wanted. They are very friendly, and I found myself not wanted to leave after my tattoo. I'm telling you it's like going back home after being away for a long while. I recently came here with my friend to keep her company while she got a cover-up tattoo. It may not seem like a "trendy" or "popular" place where young adults or college kids may go.However, the service there was exceptional! It's a hole-in-the-wall tattoo shop off Madison near downtown. The artists there have years of experience and a depth to their skill that I had not seen before. The man with the long hair sketched the anticipated tattoo FREEHAND.To back track.... We had previously gone in to Trilogy, and the artist there raved about how a solid black mannequin would cover up the old tattoo. OF COURSE a solid black image can cover up ANY tattoo.At this place however, we explained that she wanted her tattoo "Believe" to be covered up with a mannequin. And I suggested that a damask or paisley print would have to be a design on the mannequin to add/skew lines from the font of "Believe."As you can see, it came our GREAT! And it looks so much better than a black blob would've looked!Not to mention, the three men working there were very nice. They may look a little rough, but looks are deceiving. They were watching Family Feud, Jeopardy, and other GSN shows while we were there. Haha! Read Less

One of the cheapest if not THE cheapest around. But dont let that fool you. These guys are professionals. I checked out a popular spot before I was told of this place. I checked out Trilogy. Trilogy wanted 50 dollars to draw up my tattoo and if I didn't like the artist drawing than I had lost my 50 bucks because it went to the artist for him "working" on the drawing. At Daves I had no problem with my artist drawing up the tattoo a couple of times and editing the the drawing. Just goes to show a little bit of good customer relations goes a long way. Plus I paid about 2 hundred or so dollars less at daves. Check em out! The attention do detail on my tattoo was immaculate. Read Less
