Owners Stevie and Cynthia Whitt are both amazing artists. My sons were both thrilled with the tattoos they got. Stevie especially works incredibly fast without sacrificing any of the quality of his work . The whole atmosphere of the shop is comfortable as well as being incredibly clean. I went into Whitt’s Legacy today, and it was an amazing experience. I went in to get my belly button pierced and it was my first time. And they were very welcoming and friendly, especially the girls at the desk. Danny did my piercing and did such an awesome job! It was quick and easy, the place is very clean and sanitized, Danny even opens the needles right in front you. I will for sure be back to see them if I get any further piercings or tattoos. Honestly one of the best body modification shops I’ve been too. I haven’t gotten any tattoos here but my sister and I both got 2 piercings each (all different ones). She had her Septum and Labret done, and I had my Medusa and Vertical Labret done. Everyone here is incredibly friendly and super welcoming. Danny was fabulous and very sterile with his work (and quite the perfectionist when it comes to placement which is great). The price is super affordable as well! Had my very first piercing done today at Whitts Legacy Tattoo! I felt at home as soon as I walked in the door. Danny did my piercing and he did an amazing job. It was quick and relatively painless. He took time to explain each step of the piercing process and answered any questions I had. He also went over after care very well and when I called later in the day with a question i had he didn't mind answering! SERIOUSLY the WORST experience... I went for piercing, about 10 min after they opened at ONE P.M. and filled out the form - stood there listening to about 4 employees talking, when I finally asked if that was all they needed from me, the girl at the front desk that was sitting there doing her makeup on the job, looks up and says she'll be with me AS SOON AS SHE FINISHES HER MAKEUP... I decide not to get snarky with someone that's about to put a hole in my ear... so I hold my tongue... wait another few minutes... when she finally finishes, she takes me to the back, and pulls out a HUGE bar with balls on the end (not ideal for a 2nd ear hole)... so I just decided to find somewhere else... NOT going to give this place my business when they can't respect their customers enough to stop their personal thing, not talk about what they were doing last night with who in the waiting room, and do their job. Seriously, take pride in your job. and treat people with respect. If I were the owner... I would start to see a trend - that every bad review you have is about piercings. maybe re-evaluate the employee that's doing the piercings? just my thoughts. I was referred by a tattoo customer, and I should have read all the reviews before going. :( Response to owner: Umm, not sure what you mean by "disconnect"... other than the fact that I had to wait for an employee to finish her personal business (her makeup) for her to do her job. I had no problem providing my own earrings, according to your requirements. I actually did go purchase some, but the entire day I was just so put off by the lack of respect toward me from that girl, that I decided I'd not go back. I just think common courtesy would be to attend to your paying customers when they come in, as you have people available. There were at least 2 or 3 other employees, but I had to wait on the girl to finish her makeup... am I crazy to think that should be part of coming to your workplace ready to work??? Read Less

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. I've been there twice and both times I've had a horrible experience. The first time I was getting my nose pierced. The lady screwed it up the first time and had to pierce it twice! The second and most recent time I went, I had my industrial and my belly button pierced. My industrial bar is un-even. The lady who did my piercings this time Free Handed my belly button piercing and it is completely crooked. The prices here are very cheap! But I would rather pay top dollar and have a good experience than to pay $30 for 2 piercings and them to be messed up. Also, the music they play is so loud you can't hear what the piercer is telling you. I do not recommend this tattoo and piercing shop. Read Less

Very friendly, very professional, very clean. Girlfriend had her bellybutton pierced and the people who did it messed it up, so she didn't wear a ring and it closed up with scar tissue. Came here years later and had it redone, through the scar tissue, which is supposed to be very painful, without a problem. I wish I could say better things about my experience here. I got my septum pierced a few months back. When I got the jewelry changed to a clicker (type of septum ring), I noticed it didn't look quite right. While shopping for a gold septum ring I checked out some other shops, and one of the piercers there told me my septum was pierced unusually low, so that was why the sides of the clicker were visible. I went back to Whitt's and told them I thought they had pierced it too low. They have a new piercer now, and she said she'd be happy to fix it for free (the owner was sitting right there, and heard the whole thing but didn't comment on it). First the piercer took the old jewelry out and I was going to let that one heal before getting it pierced again higher up. I went back a week later for her to do it again. She said she had talked to the owner of the shop, and she was no longer able to do it for free. The owner claims I asked for it to be pierced low. I know nothing about piercing placement, and never would have asked for that. Besides, she was right there when the piercer offered to do it again for free and did not speak up then, which made no sense. Anyway, the discussion that ensued was not pretty. She got a horrible attitude with me when I said I did not remember asking for it to be pierced low (and neither does my friend who was by my side the whole time). I ended up leaving and getting it done at Born This Way Body Arts. They did an awesome job the FIRST time, no misunderstandings.Tattoos may be worth getting here, but I would pass on piercings.
