Brad is a very fine fellow, and I trusted him instantly to care about the work I wanted done and to do a quality job. As expected, I was not disappointed one bit. My daughter and I were driving back to her base where she is stationed and on a whim stopped in at st. tattoo to get a tattoo. A good small shoo with decent prices. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. My girlfriend how a handwritten set of words written by her mother on her back and it came into great. Saint Tattoo sucks!! I have the same surgical steel captive bead rings that I had in my ear a couple years ago. The piercing lady refused me service because I couldn't tell her what company made my rings. Then she went on to say that it's beneath her to put my rings back in because of me not knowing the company that made the rings. She was very rude. She was talking down at me instead of to me. For starters, customer service is horrible. There is this thing on the computer called the calendar that lets you schedule and track people. I know the concept is so new but they have yet to figure it out. If you go there, ask for Brad. Doc Cooper would rather text on his phone vs. tattoo. Don't waste his time. Came here to get my brother a tattoo for his upper arm that I was giving him as a birthday present. The place is kind of hidden but a good GPS got us there. As impressions go, I was please to see a very we'll kept place and very clean. We made an appointment with Cory, came back to see him the following Saturday for a consultation. My brother explain what he wanted and showed him some pictures. We wanted a tattoo of his name to be cover but Cody said that would just not be very good due to the boldness of the tattoo. We really appreciated his honesty, as trough the work he always told my brother whenever he thought that something would not look good. We came back the following Saturday and witching a few hours he got the tattoo completed. It was a city with a big moon on the top. The building where kind if cartoonish with lots of stars and clouds. He got the name tattoo incorporated in to it to where it actually looks very cool with the rest of it. I was very happy that he got it all in one session. I found that then price seem reasonable and that the art worm was very we'll come. I visited Saint because I had only heard great things.  I went to get a cartilage piercing, and the man who did it is what made the experience.  I'm not the tattoo type so going to a tattoo parlor kinda weirded me out. The room was as sterile and clean as a doctor's office-- which is very relieving.   He explained the whole process (I'm very wary of needles) and then pierced my ear. I'm not gonna lie, it hurt so bad, but that is irrelevant.  Afterward he was talking to me about taking care of it, keeping it clean, changing the earring, etc, and I passed out. (This happens to me with needles)  He was so calm! He laid back the chair, elevated my feet, got me a coke to raise my blood sugar, and the whole time while I was apologizing and embarrassed, he didn't make me feel estranged at all! He let me take as long as I needed to recuperate and didn't try to push me out the door which has been many of my friends' experiences at other parlors. The piercing is great with no complications, the pricing was very reasonable, and the service was unmatched! I would not recommend anywhere else in Knoxville! Read Less

Got my second tattoo here. It covers my entire right shin. Matt did an amazing job, and he is by far my favorite artist there. Had to wait about 2 to 3 weeks to get an appointment if that says anything. Took about 4 and a half hours to get done, and he was fine with letting me take breaks. Didn't hurt just was uncomfortable the way I had to sit. Matt is an awesome guy and I would recommend letting him tattoo anyone! Read Less

I had my first three tattoos done by Anna at Saint back in 2008 & 2009. She worked with me through the whole process making slight adjustments to her custom drawings for me. This was a second visit to Saint...not knowing it was under new management. Back home in Connecticut, my daughter and I just returned from having out tattoos repaired one month later. Unfortunately the ink that was accidentally injected under my shin around the tattoo will be with me permanently (which is magnified by the fact that the tattoo is on my hand) .Some lessons are more costly than others and this one was very expensive. The tattoo I came out with was NOTHING like the one I had planned on. Thankfully there are tattoo parlors that can fix inferior work. I would never return to Saint Tattoo. Live and learn. Read Less

I stopped by Saint after some people had talked highly of them, and boy was I shocked! Not only did I have to wait like 30 minutes before I was spoken to, but they said it would be a week or so before they would have time to "draw something up" for me, all I wanted was a japanese symbol on my wrist. Recently I consulted with an artist at saint tattoo. I brought in a picture to base the drawing on, and the artist said it might take up to two weeks. About a month later I finally got my drawing after multiple inquiring e-mails. It took about two more weeks to have an appointment set up which had to be postponed because I was going on vacation. When I got back in town I repeatedly e-mailed the artist to schedule an appointment and I was completely ignored. I have heard two similar stories of people who were either forgotten or ignored as well. If you are going to spend a large sum of money on something that will be on your body forever I suggest that you seek out someone more professional. Read Less

I've heard only good things about SAINT TATTOO for a while now, and made the trip to give them a try yesterday. First I was helped by Johnny who works the front. He was helpful and very funny. He set me up with Matt to get my tattoo, and he is great! My piece is solid and I love it. He is really talented. Johnny also set me up with Brian to get an industrial. He also was great because he talked me through everything he was doing, made sure I was comfortable and gave me something I'm really proud of. While these aren't my first experiences at a tattoo shop, aftercare was explained, and I was even given a bag of sea salt to help heal my piercing. Saint Tattoo is the perfect tattoo shop. Friendly, professional, VERY clean and all of the artists are really talented. They have won two ""Best of Knoxville"" awards from the local weekly The Metro Pulse and also an ""East Tennessee's Best"" award from the Knoxville News Sentinel. The atmosphere is energetic and there is art of all sorts everywhere you look and TV's in every station. You can't get bored there.
