Was able to schedule a same day appointment for my septum piercing. The piercer was highly amicable and professional and made my first piercing experience a good one! It is 6 days later and following the advice given to me, my septum is healing very well with no signs of infection. The piercer seemed to know what he was talking about and the jewelry used was a proper internally threaded curved barbell. I actually missed my first appointment time but the piercer was more than willing to schedule me for a later time a couple hours later. Would highly recommend! Read Less

I've only been in Hendersonville for 3 weeks. I was ready to get my 4th tattoo but didn't know anything about any of the places here. I did my research and Evolutionary had two things I was looking for, the individual rooms for privacy and excellent reviews. Don't for the love of God ever get your nipples pieced here! (Or at least not by Kevin... He may be the owner, but Doug is apparently the real star of the show.) One of my piercings was uneven... Doug had to TAKE IT OUT the next day! I was SO upset. I'm STILL upset about it even though it happened a few months ago. You can't just get a nipple piercing redone when this happens. You have to wait like six or so months for the first piercing to heal before it can be done over. So not only was it messed up, but if/when I want it redone I have to go through the same pain all over again. I should have charged back the total amount paid or been refunded for at least the half that was done wrong. My advice is go somewhere else, like I wish I had. Read Less

I went in last night for a piercing, and was so incredibly anxious after having my other nostril peirced at another shop and it was insanely uneven to the other side. After being burned 2 years ago, I finally went in to this shop, and the piercer was great! He listened to me complain and repeatedly adjusted the marking until I was satisfied. After having a completely horrible experience two years ago with my first tattoo, Kevin fixed me up tonight!!! Go to Evolutionary Studios in Hendersonville if you want it done right. Kevin has been overly kind and professional each time I went in for information, then tonight for real!! He explained every step, showed me each instrument, gave me his professional input on approach, and listened to my horrible singing while he worked. My cross tattoo is gorgeous now. Lines fil...led in and cleaned up, dots added to end of each point of cross.✝ Such an amazing experience. I'm thankful I'm competitive enough (or psycho) enough to not give up, and try it again. I did quite a bit of research on which tattoo studio to go to in Hendersonville to get my first tattoo done. As it was going to be my first tattoo, I was quite a bit nervous about it, and wanted to go to one of the best. Evolutionary Studios had some pretty great reviews, and after looking at some of their artwork, I decided to choose them! I reached out to Kevin, who at that time was the only tatoo artist there, and sent him some pictures and gave him my vision of what I wanted. He told me he would love to work on my design, and told me I could come in on the day I requested.About two weeks before my scheduled appointment for the tattoo, I came by to check out the studio just because I hadn't been there before. The studio is in a little strip mall off of Main St. It's very clean, and felt almost doctor's office-ish, which I liked!Kevin wasn't there at a time but his apprentice Doug(who is now actually an artist there!)  was. He was super friendly, offered me something to drink when i first came in. He let me check out the studio, see where I'd be getting the tattoo done ,and answered all my questions! I follow his work too and he's been doing pretty great!!So the day of my appointment, I came in and had to fill out some paperwork. Then I met with Kevin and he showed me the design and asked me if there's anything I wanted to change. It was just what I wanted, so we went ahead and started. He talked to me, and played some music while doing it. I felt very comfortable during the process, though yes, it did hurt for me!The tattoo came out beautifully. I couldn't have been happier with it! I stopped by a couple times after to make sure the tattoo was healing properly. They also offer a free retouch within 90 days, which I took advantage of!I would highly recommend Evolutionary Studios for your next tatto/piercing.
