Once I arrived at the shop and walked in i noticed i wasnt very clean and smell as if someone had been smoking marijuana inside. I decided to look over this because of the good reviews i read. But I wish i had left. Over halfway through my tattoo I noticed several roaches crawling on the walls at that time he told me he needed a break and would return shortly. When the artist returned it was clear he had been smoking more marijuana as he started to finished my tattoo. A couple days later my new tattoo started to burn and swell extremely. I went to the doctor and was told it was infected due to contaminated needle and was given antibiotics. Please do not get any tattoos or piercings from these people. You will regret it.

My boyfriend and I went on vacation in the smoky mountains and wanted to get a tattoo to symbolize our trip. Stopped in at mad tatter a little before they closed and Tyler was so sweet, he would have tattooed us even though they should have been closing; we made an appointment for the next day and had Rich do our tattoos. Super sanitary, crisp line work, hella likeable. Sick place; we’ll be back.

For two of us it was our first tattoo and Rich was a great choice for our first experience. Great guy. It's a long drive for us, but I would definitely drive up for the next one. We had real life conversations that made me forget I was even getting a tattoo. Prices are totally worth the work put into every tattoo! Made sure everything lined up and was perfect. My husband duplicated my tattoo on his leg and Rich drew it beautifully. I actually think it turned out better than my original tattoo. We couldn't be happier. Highly recommend. The shop was clean and sanitized. Both artists were knowledgeable about their art and it really showed in the work they performed. We couldn't be happier.

My husband and I both got tattoos from Rich today and were extremely pleased with our experience. We chose small designs that he could have sped through but he took his time to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted, educated us about color choices and placement and just put us totally at ease. I seriously felt like I was hanging out with a friend instead of getting a tattoo from someone I just met. All three gentlemen in the shop were very polite and friendly. Everything was clean and it was just an overall great experience. We come to Gatlinburg every year and we will definitely be coming back to this shop and to Rich. Thanks for the start of a new tradition!!

I can't wait to get back for more work on our next vacation! He put in extra work and time to make sure that they were amazing! I'm so glad I did research before heading down!! Best place in town! Feel free to do your research but, as someone covered in tattoos this is probably my favorite piece! Even after healing, it looks AMAZING!! Came here on my last day of vacation in the smokey mountains to get a tattoo from Rich. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had at a tattoo shop. The place was clean and I felt comfortable from the second I walked in. Rich did an amazing job on the tattoo and also made the experience as enjoyable as possible. My friend got a tattoo from him as well, and he was just as pleased. I decided on this shop because they had some of the best reviews, and I was certainly not let down. I will be returning here when I come to gatlinburg again without a doubt!

My friend got a tattoo from him as well, and he was just as pleased. I decided on this shop because they had some of the best reviews, and I was certainly not let down. I will be returning here when I come to gatlinburg again without a doubt!

I dropped in at 10PM on a Friday night with my daughter. I am from Texas and will be 60 years old this year! I wanted to get my FIRST tattoo! I wanted a large black bear on my thigh. Rich did mine and I am so pleased! He made getting my first tattoo enjoyable from start to finish! He did a GREAT job! It looks perfect! I can't wait to go back to him on my next trip to Gatlinburg to get another one!!

My husband and I were visiting Gatlinburg and decided to get the tattoos we had been wanting for a while. Tyler was able to work him in immediately, and me the next day (since we closed down the shop). Great quality, great artwork. Super talented. Very friendly and clean. Both artists in the studio were very social and likeable. Had a great experience overall. Highly recommend.

Some of my family and I spent the day there yesterday and we had such an awesome experience. Martin, Rich and Tyler are truly professionals and know what they're doing. They took their time and gave each of us (we were a group of five!) a true piece of art. We will all definitely return in the future whenever we are back in town!

It's hard to pick a place when you don't know anyone who has had work done by them before. We were not disappointed! Very professional, very clean, very nice people.

I had messaged two tattoo shops about a simple cross tattoo for me and my husband. Mad tatter being one of the shops. The other shop could barely even spell correctly to answer anything I was saying. Mad tatter answered no problem. When we got there we were there for maybe an hour. They had such great attitudes and me and my husband are very pleased with our tattoos. Thank you!
