Sad to go back and change my review because I has an enjoyable time at the shop, but I got a crescent moon tattoo on Saturday on my finger. The scab has started to flake away and underneath the scab there is almost no pigment left. I have multiple tattoos and I am keen on aftercare so I am pretty sure this is not due to botched aftercare. I even went out of my way to be extra careful because the tattoo is on my finger. I've asked around and it seems like it just wasn't done deep enough. Read Less

Walked in as customers, left as friends. Wonderful people, awesome tattoo work, great prices, and in walking distance to everything. The artist took an older tattoo and made the new additions on both sides almost identical to the original. Was able to take my daughter inside and she was welcome with open arms and treated like one of their own. I will be going back next time we take a family trip. Definitely recommend this shop. I cannot for the life of me remember who did my tattoo - but he was awesome. I didn't even flinch once during the time he did my tattoo. It's honestly the cleanest tattoo I have. The lines are perfect. He was easy handed and we were done within 30-40 mins and didn't even care that we came in 30 mins before closing(didn't realize they closed at 5 on July 4th) Everyone in the shop was super nice and welcoming and talked to our son which is nice they take the time to acknowledge our son. Overall I wish I could rate higher than a 5 because this is hands down the best tattoo shop I've been to. Sadly we live in Indiana - but may have to come back next year for more ink therapy!! All the artist was respectable friendly and funny. Doug took the images that I wanted for my pirate theme sleeve and ran with it. He did an amazing drawing and laid it out beautifully. Highly impressed and can't wait to come back down in a couple months to get some more to my sleeve. The price was very very reasonable ( actually cheapest in Gatlinburg and pigeon forge). They had no customers when we walked in and clearly didn't want any. I have a couple tattoos, so had an idea of what the cost would be, he quoted me over double what I was expecting and have paid for similar work. No offer to look at portfolios to pick out an artist, dude just yelled "who's up?", then they bickered about it a little, everyone saying "not me". I went with 2 of my best friend's and I got my first tattoo for my birthday. Bush did a great job on all 3 of our tattoos. We were actually walking on our way to a different tattoo shop and we seen him outside and stopped to talk to him. Knew right away he was the guy for the job. My husband and I stopped in on our way out of town and had the good fortune to both be worked on by Doug. The price was super fair and the work was exceptional. We were both extremely impressed with his skill, speed, and professionalism. I had small lettering done across my chest and it looks amazing which is no easy task. My husband chose a tribal Fox that is some of the best tribal work I have seen. We will absolutely be returning to Doug for any future work. I wish I could give this artist more than 5 stars!
