100% love this place! Chris has done all of my piercings since I first went there in early 2016 and they have all turned out great. Jacob did a full back piece on me that I'm in love with, and gets complimented on every time I go swimming. The atmosphere is amazing and they truly care about the work that they do. I can specifically say that Jared and Jacob are 2 of the best around here. There are other artists there as well but I haven't seen their work so I can't testify to them but I have known Jacob for many years and he is a blue blood when it comes to tattooing. Everyone was awesome! I got a piercing from Chris, and his beside manner was outstanding. I was being a little baby beforehand, and he was super patient with me and did everything he could to make me feel more comfortable. Jacob was able to pull together an awful cover up I had done by two other artist. His line work is amazing and his ability to actually visualize the functionality of a piece is impeccable. I came in earlier this evening and got my belly button reopened and my nose pierced by Alec, and I just want to say that he did an awesome job. He was very laid back and made me feel instantly comfortable. He was very thorough and took his time on both piercings. However, I want to apologize because I did not tip him, and I truly meant to. It totally just slipped my mind. I was absolutely exhausted and was ready to get home for the night. I woke up today and decided I needed a tattoo ASAP. I've heard only wonderful things about the Tempest team. I came in without calling and within 30 minutes I was already tattooed and on my way home. I know that's not always the case, but it was nice to be helped immediately and Amanda took care of everything and did a great job. Wanted to get a tattoo to pay tribute to my late father he was in the navy. So I talked to some of my friends and a friend from church recommend I come here and then he recommended I get the beautiful Amanda to do it. So I got it done and she is absolutely amazing artist. Thank you Amanda for the beautiful piece. I also wanted to add that just today on May 4th my mother got her first tattoo which of course the beautiful Amanda did and did another amazing job. Wanted my grandkids' names on my wrist like a bracelet. Went to Tempest after several recommendation. Amanda explained to my why it couldn't be done because my wrist is small and the letters would have to be way smaller than would be readable. She made a suggestion and we went with it. It was awesome! Lines are very sharp and it looks great! Went back last night and had some vines & flowers added around my wrist connecting the names so it looks like a bracelet. I love it and... am getting great comments about my ink. The lines are sharp and the coloring is vibrant. The people at Tempest are great. They make you feel at home and tell you what isn't going to stand the test of time and offer alternatives. They treat you like a person and not just another few bucks in their pockets. I'm highly disappointed with this place. I live in Chicago and most tattoo studios are expensive there. I've always loved Tempest but not anymore. I walked in today and immediately got bad vibes. I asked how much they would charge me for a smaller tattoo that I want on my arm. They told me that they wouldn't recommend doing that certain tattoo smaller. Don't get me wrong, I understand they were trying to give me advice and warn me it would look terrible s year from now, BUT I'm paying you to give me a tattoo. This tattoo will be on MY body so I want what I want and like I said I'm PAYING you money. Why would I pay you for a tattoo that I don't even want?? That's ok I'll just go somewhere else. My friends and i wanted to get matching tattoos & a couple of us were visiting from iowa & missouri for our friends birthday. We went to tempest and chris did all 4 tattoos & did an amazing job on all of them & made sure we were satisfied with how they looked. He also has an awesome sense of humor the whole time!!! I was looking into daith piercing due to severe chronic migraines. I had called around and Chris at Tempest was the most honest of them all. He also helped me to realize I wasn't allergic to all metals but gold, but titanium is a cheaper option and at 99.9% there are no alloys so is a NON allergic metal (not hypoallergenic which means nothing)so I made an appointment. I got done early paying bills so I called to up my appt. Chris worked me right in. Their setup was very nice in back. Very professional! I don't know why this place has so many good reviews. The line work is crap and creativity is lacking. My seven year old could come up with better work than this place provides. Actually, I'm pretty sure I e gotten better work at 15 by a kid with a guitar string. Kind of  shop I remember going to in NC.Very laid back. All the staff is awesome. They make you feel very relaxed. I have severe anxiety yet I didnt feel any of that.  I Drive from Clarksville For them.. Very professional and very clean I love it. They have the owner Jared Warf who to my knowledge Started out in Clarksville Tn ( or at least had his own shop there.) The  2 other artist are Jacob Demoss  and Jim Dobbins as well as a piercer Chris Lochbihler ALL put out wiched work. My artist is Jacob Demoss.
