I recently sent a tattoo artist, named Chad, a copy of a Marine Corps Eagle, Globe and Anchor that I wanted done, via text. I was scheduled to get it done today; however, when I got there, there were some changes with his outline I wanted done. The outline was horrible and there were several discrepancies that I wanted corrected. I just wanted it to look like the picture I gave him. I could tell he didn't care what I thought from the beginning. He acted like it was an inconvenience for me to spend 5 minutes telling him what I wanted. He sent me to a room to wait while he made the corrections. Let it be known, at this point, I spent about 5 minutes talking to him about the tattoo in person. I realized that the tattoo I wanted didn't have a point at the bottom of the anchor like it's supposed to. No big deal, but since it is a Marine Corps symbol that shouldn't be altered, I went into the room to let him know. He stated that he didn't want to do the tattoo if I was going to be too picky! Now, last time I checked, tattoos are for life, and he couldn't take 10 minutes to discuss the tattoo with me. I am sure the Marines in Afghanistan would be upset to know that a tattoo artist complained about making necessary corrections to a Marine Corps tattoo. I have done two combat tours and the fact that Chad could not understand the importance of Marine EGA details makes me extremely upset, hence this review. I walked out. There was no way I would ever let anyone have the privilege of tattooing that symbol on my chest if he does not appreciate it. It was an honor for him, that I revoked. Read Less
