I've had received quite a few tattoos at quite a few locales (NC, GA, TX, NY, OK and Israel) and this is by far my favorite tattoo parlor. A few cautions though; if you've got a couple hundred burning a hole in your pocket and are looking to get a lot of ink done quickly on a whim, this shop is not likely to be what you are looking for; there's no flair posted, there'll likely be a separate future consult appointment prior to any work being done, and although I only deal with one artist, most of them seem to be booked months in advance. Also, I have no experience with the non-tattoo portions of the business, so I cannot address that whatsoever.The interior of the shop is clean and comfortable, and although I've never taken my family members there, many people seem comfortable doing so, including their children on occasion. (piercings, perhaps ?)Since a lot of the variability in experience depends on your selected tattoo artist (and I very highly recommend doing some research before you go and looking at portfolio images to see which artist would be best for your project), I can really only speak to "My guy", Fred.I've sat with Fred for at least 8 sessions now, (we have two large simultaneous projects going on), and the results are outstanding. I cannot wait to see the finished products. I won't speak to what he is or isn't willing to do, but in my case where I've asked for photo-realism and detailed work, the depth, shading and amount of detail is quite staggering. I'd suggest that if you have an idea and a style in mind, and are willing to wait for a bit to get quality work, you should really investigate this shop ~ I won't go anywhere else in the area. If you care about yourself, your money, time or even just health do not go to this shitty excuse of a tattoo place. First off, not only did the piercer, Jason, NOT examine my sisters tongue which is basic protocol when piercing a tongue, pierced her with the WRONG jewelry, the bar he put in wasn't 1.long enough 2. Not meant for a tongue ring, unprofessional, rude ass hell, not sure how this dumbass is even a piercer, but that's another wonder of the world. This pitiful place would not refund my sister her money back which was the least they could've done, considering she ended up at the ER after this dumb fuck couldn't even do his job right. Plus the ER visit cost her almost 200$ out of her pocket. Not sure what kind of 'professional tattoo place' hires an idiot like this. You'd probably have a better chance in someone's basement than in this awful place. They didn't even tell her the basic after care of this piercing which is pretty simple after care. When my sister called to complain about his fuck up, they were rude and hung up. My sister then visited another tattoo/piercing place where they saw 'Jason's idiot ass had went through MULTIPLE veins in her tongue, which is also honestly extremely life threatening. Do NOT recommend, they do not care about you, they're just after your money and couldn't give a flying fuck what happens to you after they screw you over. When I went to my consult appointment, I was told the nearest opening to get my tattoo was all the way in June! So I went up the street to Love Blood Ink. They were able to get it done the same day and for $200 cheaper and 2 hours faster than what No Egrets was going to charge me.  I recommend going there instead!! Read Less

The studio space is super clean which is the most important! I went to Jason for my conch piercing. 10/10 would recommend him. He is very informative if you have any questions, tells you what he is about to do, professional, and gives you the most quality piercing that anyone could ask for! When I called to ask about the design, I got a woman who was incredibly short with me and talked to me like I was five. She said there was no way I could see the design until the day of, I acknowledged that, got off the phone and then a few hours later decided it'd be best if I canceled my appointment. Upon cancelling, I got the same woman who was again very patronizing to me and told me there was no way to get my deposit back. So the day after I turned 18 I immediately decided to get my nipples pierced. At first I went to Love Blood Ink because I had done extensive research on their piercer (but she wasn't working the day I went). After being turned away at LBI my friend suggested we go to No Egrets which is where she was planning to get her tattoo done. I was skeptical at first, just because I didn't get to do the research on their piercer like I had for LBI, but I agreed anyways because I already had the adrenaline built up. So we went to No Egrets and the minute I walked in, we were welcomed and helped straight away. My piercer Jason was fantastic. He took my friend and I into a different room, he was very professional and was great at making me feel at ease about a needle piercing my nipple. After the piercings he was very thorough w the after care instructions which i definitely appreciated Bc I always have had bad reactions w piercings.  It cost about $70 for the piercings ($10 for the aftercare spray) and I thought it was a little pricy, but I'm actually understand that you get what you pay for. My nipples have healed perfectly and ahead of schedule. I'm three months into my 9/12 months of healing and I couldn't be more satisfied. I definitely recommend everyone goes here for their piercings WITH JASON. I plan on going back and getting my nose pierced w him. Read Less

I've been to No Egrets three times. Twice for tattoos and once for my rook piercing. All three times couldn't have been better. I love this place so much and I will never go anywhere else for another tattoo or piercing. They are very clean and sanitary. Michelle did an amazing job on my rook piercing. She talked me through on what to use to clean it and what to expect when it's heeling or what to expect if it gets infected to come back in. She estimated my heeling time to be around 4-6 months and I knew she did a great job and it's heeling well because it's only been a week and it's hardly sore anymore. I've only gone for piercings and I've gotten pierced by Jason and Michelle. Both are super awesome and very knowledge at what they do. They make you feel comfortable and never awkward. You can ask them a million questions and they all get answered without getting the vibe that you're probably annoying them, they welcome the questions. Jason will hit you with random facts about piercings and goes SUPER in depth to the point where you can tell he loves what he does. Michelle is SUPER sweet and really cares about making sure you're well taken care of. I love them both and because of them is why I've gotten 4 piercings in the last 6 months. I only gave 3 stars because after I called and said I was bringing her in and after we checked in there was a very innapropriate movie on the tv. I had never been to this location before and did not realize the tv until my child already got an eye full of nudity. I am super picky with shops and tattoo artist as well as piercers. This place is AMAZING! Usually I go to shops and feel kinda awkward but this place from the moment you walk in they strike conversation and make you feel comfortable and welcome. I had the pleasure to be pierced by Jason About 2 weeks ago. I asked this man so many questions that any other person would've probably been annoyed but he was super professional and great attitude as well as super knowledgable. He will not pierce an area he doesn't think will work for your anatomy unless you really want it and it's workable. (He will NOT do horizontal tongue piercing aka snake eyes). Best part about the tragus piercing Jason did was IT DID NOT HURT!!! I revisited the shop because I was paranoid about my Tragus piercing being a little swollen and met the other piercer Michelle and she was super awesome and changed my Jewel. I just went in last night and was tattooed by Alice. She only did the outline for what I wanted because I didn't give her the full description of what I wanted. I am giving her 5 stars because she was so professional and patient. I know if the roles were reversed, I would have punched me in the face, but Alice was so understanding. I gave her an idea, then later changed my mind. I sent her a picture of what I wanted but didn't add all of the details so she did the best with what I gave her. When I went into the shop, I changed the tattoo AGAIN. Rather than get impatient, she just said "I understand. It's permanent and you want it right". I felt terrible, lol, but she is awesome. Granted, so far all I have is the outline of the tattoo that I want but I am so happy with it. I seriously can't wait to go back and get the rest filled in! I feel somewhat strange reviewing a tattoo studio only because this is my first experience, and I don't have any others to compare it to. I've always said that I wanted a tattoo, but there was never anything that I wanted to be with me the rest of my life. It took me 35 years to find that one thing, then I debated it for 6 months. When I finally decided to take the plunge, I made an appointment with Fred at No Egrets Tattoo. The staff at the studio are professional but laid back. The artists have their own rooms, so you have plenty of privacy. I have no idea how to compare prices, but there is a $50 house minimum. My tattoo is rather small, so it was $50. Fred's specialty is in Star Wars tattoos and other geek art. Walk-ins are welcome, however appointments are preferred. Fred says that he refuses to tattoo anyone who appears drunk, so mind your alcohol before arriving. Also, don't go there if Egrets are your thing ;) Read Less

I went to No Egrets to get my great grandfathers footsteps on my right arm. when I got there 1 person was tattooing and everyone else was playing xbox ignoring the fact that I was there. when I finally did get some service they pushed me off on some 21 yr old who was just learning to tattoo and he charged me 120 dollars for 8 footsteps that was only 3 or 4 cm long and they looked like duck foot prints. had Allen at Inksters Tattoo Studio on Riverside cover them up he charged me 120 to wrap them all the way up my arm and each one is 1/2in long. If you want a badass tattoo for the cheapest price at any shop in clarksville, go to inksters. trust me... he is doing both my arm sleeves and leg sleeve and even i didn't envision them being this good Read Less

I've been to No Egrets twice for work and my husband has as well. We love it there! Everyone is super helpful, friendly and willing to work with you no mattter what you want to have done. I've had Ben & Cavan both do work for me and they both made me feel right at home, even when I had to stay for 4 hours to complete a piece one time.It is always full of people who care about what they do and making sure you're happy when you walk out the door. They've always got the TV on with a movie or game and will usually had over the remote to a customer if you're sitting there to wait for a bit. They are great when it comes to making/keeping appointments but always welcome walk ins too! Not to mention the fact that they are SUPER clean which isn't always the case here in Clarksville. I RECENTLY GOT A TATTOO FROM NO EGRETS TATTOO STUDIO. THE FIRST THING I NOTICED WAS THE SHOP IS VERY CLEAN! I FELT VERY SECURE IN MY DECISION TO GET TATTOOED HERE. I WAS GREETED RIGHT AWAY AND HAD AN AWESOME ARTIST DRAW UP MY IDEA. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND MADE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE.
