We were looking for a place to get a tattoo. It was already late like 11:45 and they closed soon but I called and came in and James was here. I told him what I wanted and I was sure they didn’t have time but my work schedule is hectic. James made a call and told the owner Butch what I wanted and butch just responded with “I’m on my way” and he did my tattoo on the spot to make sure I got what I wanted. Called earlier in the day to make an appointment. Made an appointment for 8 pm that night. I told them it was for two different tattoos. They said it was fine and they were open booked all night. As long as we were fine with an Apprentice. We talked to him three times. The second time, he asked if we could come in at 9 instead because the apprentice, Captain, was running behind. We said it was fine. We showed up on time, walked in. The nice man came up to us and asked what we needed. We explained our appointment at 9. He looked at a book and said okay. He went back and talked to “Captain The Apprentice”. He came back up and said he was still running about thirty minutes behind. We said it was fine and we’d wait and look at some portfolios. A few minutes later, “Captain The Apprentice”, came up to the front and walked behind the counter. He said, “What is it you’re here for?” Ignoring his rude attitude toward us, my girlfriend replied that we had an appointment at 9 with an Apprentice named Captain. He said, “I’m Captain and I don’t have anymore appointments tonight because I leave at 10.” At this point, he’s crossed the line with the attitude. He was being very unprofessional. If it was a mistake, we would’ve understood. But he then told us that another artist would take us. We asked if it would still be the Apprentice price. He said, “No. My work isn’t even an Apprentice price”. We ended up leaving due to unprofessionalism. We will no longer be doing any sort of business with them. And we’ll be sure to spread the word. I decided to get a small tattoo on my arm. I never really schedule appointments for my tattoos because all of mine are so small and usually take no more than 10-15 minutes. So, I called White Wizard just to see if they had any time to get me in for this small tattoo. When I called, there was a lady on the phone who already sounded like she could care less about me as a client. I told her what I wanted and she told me that they could fit me in if I could be there "like now". When I got to the shop, I was greeted by some men that worked there and they asked if I needed help. I told them I had just talked to a lady about a small tattoo and they went to get her for me. She came out and said "how can I help you?" I told her I just wanted a small 3 word tattoo on my arm and she said "well yeah but like what is the tattoo?" in the most condescending tone. I showed her what I wanted and she immediately laughed at me saying that it was way too small and that she wouldn't do it. She did not even offer to work around the design with me and shot down a design that I had created and that had very significant meaning to me. I told her that I have even smaller tattoos that I have received from there in the past and she continued to laugh at me and turn me down. I get an artists refusal to do a tattoo, but she was the rudest tattoo "artist" I have ever met. I have 2 tattoos from White Wizard and have had a decent experience, but, because of her, I will NEVER go back to this place for any more tattoos!! There are much better options out there!!!!!!!! Love this place, close to my home & they are dog friendly! Very clean atmosphere and they're all soooo nice! Being extremely girly and stuff I usually feel awkward in tattoo shops bc I feel like they're judging me or making fun, talking down to me. But these guys are all extremely nice, like every single one of them will speak to you and remember you & help you! Love it, have been there twice for artwork and loved both pieces! Today I went to go get my smiley pierced and the guys were super nice about everything! They gave me some useful tips on taking care of it and they offered to change out my piercing in a couple weeks which I thought was rad. Not a bad place to just stop in and get a quick piercing. Read Less
